I had the most amazing experience! Not only was it a culinary experience it was a cultural experience. We were able to do food samplings from one of the largest markets in Chiang Mai as well as go to multiple restaurants to taste of variety of food. I appreciated that we were able to experience the food in multiple areas. The tour leader, Pondtip was knowledgeable, attentive to our needs, and a wonderful guide!

Firstly, 5/5 for our guide, Mui, who was great - knowledgeable and engaging - and the food, which was delicious of course! But I can't give it 5/5 overall as we didn't enjoy the set-up as much as we have done for previous food tours: others we've done have been street food based, whereas a big part of this was at a restaurant, and I've also tended to go for walking tours, but this included quite a few songtheaw trips. That was all clear in the description and seems to be the style in Chiang Mai, so I'm not complaining, but it just wasn't quite right for us. Still a solid 4/5 though!

I did the 4pm version of the tour with the night market. Even though I had done 2 food tours in Bangkok, this tour had all new food for me to try.The guides were knowledgeable and spoke great English. And when I showed them what I had eaten already they suggested alternatives so I could try new foods. I believe my favorite had to be Khao Lam, but all of it was very tasty. So much food, that I ended up needing to bring some of it home instead. Would recommend.

This was the highlight of our trip to Chiang Mai! Best way to get an authentic feel for the culture and food of Northern Thailand. My partner and I had the most amazing evening on this tour experiencing Northern Thai bites at a local market, TukTuk ride across town to a DELICIOUS restaurant, visit to a stunning temple, and tasting our way through the night market. Our guide PT was wonderful and we’re so lucky to have shared this evening with her. Thank you PT for sharing the cuisine and history of your region with us!! Everything was delicious, come hungry!! We are foodies and have done street food tours across Europe, Asia, and the Americas and this evening in Chiang Mai was a standout!

PT was wonderful… we enjoyed touring the market, trying new foods and exploring Chiang Mai. She easily accommodated our large group of 9, along with vegetarian diet needs. She was thoughtful and attentive, and personalized the tour to us. This was a great tour to do at the beginning of our trip, to better understand new foods and how to navigate the markets. Highly recommend!

Have just come back from the evening Foodie Tour with PT. Due to a group cancellation it ended up being a private tour which was great. She met me as planned, took me to many places and tried lots of dishes, she also gave me the option to try other things. I was so full at the end, it was a great night.

Excellent food tour around Chiang Mai with PT. I got to try a bunch of things I've never had before, understand more about the ones i had and learn more about Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand in the process. Weather was less than ideal, but that was no issue - PT had everything organised and adjusted to suit. I happened to be the only one on the tour so ended with some leftovers to take back to my hotel. Would absolutely recommend this tour - great food and a chance to see parts of Chiang Mai that you might otherwise miss.

PT, our Tour guide was amazing! She showed us really great local food spots, my favorite was the Isan style sausage street food. We got around the area quite easily and ate so much food until we couldn’t eat anymore. Learned a lot about the history of the area as well. Would highly recommend this tour!

This was the Highlight of our stay in the old city area of Chiang Mai. Met PT and was an excellent evening of food, local culture, great experiences and true Thai exposure. The guide was just wonderful. made use feel comfortable in a unique setting and would do it again without question. she had wonderful explanation of the how and why of local foods and local people. Highly recommend.

PT was such a great food tour guide! Not only did I learn a lot about Thai food but I also learned a lot about the history of Chiang Mai. PT was also so friendly and welcoming. I definitely felt very full at the end of this tour, it was a good selection of authentic Thai dishes from places locals actually eat at! PT was also very considerate about the spice levels and comfort levels of trying new foods. Overall a really great experience!

Our tour guide PT was amazing and the food tour was definitely fun coz we got to experience the street foods that only available in Chiang Mai. But I think it’s expensive for the food tour coz we only went like 4places and most of us in tour group couldn’t even finish our food towards the end of the tour. And the tour didn’t even offer hotel pick up/ drop off service. So to pay $70 USD for the food tour, definitely not worth the money.

Our tour with Pim was amazing! We started in the local markets with Thai tea and a few snacks at various stalls. We went to a super good, authentic “locals” restaurant and had dishes we had never seen before. Ended with one more meal at a street stall. All of it was delicious. Pim was friendly and fun and took pictures for us freely.

PT was an exceptional tour guide! The market tour was great. All the food was delicious. Come with a huge appetite!!! We recommend 100%

Great experience with our tour guide, PT! This was a great way to spend a morning in Chiang Mai. We did this tour early in our trip to Chiang Mai and it was an excellent way to orient ourselves in the city and see some initial tourist sites while also tasting a great variety of foods. PT was very informative and both PT and her intern (can't recall her name, unfortunately) had a great grasp of the English language, which was helpful of course. All of the various food stops were great and we enjoyed every bite! We ran into PT as she led another tour the next day and she was so sweet! We would recommend bringing some small bills or change if you want water or anything during your walk - everything food-wise is included and we did tip our tour guide, but you could also buy other food or drinks or souvenirs if you brought extra baht.

This is a really good tour it not only let’s you try lots of foods from the hundreds of different types of street foods to North Thai dishes , it also gives you an overview of the city , it’s history and with a charming guide called Pondtip who answered all our questions food related or otherwise .
