Our guide , Einar was great. Very knowledgeable, and pleasant. Provided lots of information on Iceland and the area. Would highly recommend.

An absolutely wonderful tour where we had an excellent hike on the Glacier first up as our guide Einar picked the weather perfectly and we had completely dry hike then got some hail and rain as we got back to car. Then Black Sand Beach and lunch followed by 2 excellent waterfalls. Excellent day and 100% recommend! Thanks Einar

This is an excellent day trip with our guide Thomas being top notch. He was super well informed, and made sure we were not only safe on the glaciers but also got the best experience. The waterfalls stops were excellent as well, and the van had excellent wifi. Towards the end of the trip, Thomas gave us some recommendations on how we can see northern lights and it ended up being super helpful. Following his advice we saw incredible northern lights that night! We would not have seen any without Thomas’ expert advice. Fantastic trip with a fantastic guide!

FANTASTIC! Our guides, Einar and Breki, were great: friendly, professional and prepared to share lots of great information and anecdotes. The gear they provided was in great condition, and they made sure the whole group were safe and enjoyed the experience of hiking on the glacier. The entire day showed the diversity and beauty of the natural wonders in this country. A great day, with wonderful guides.

Great day with small group. Very comfortable. I enjoyed this South Coast tour more than Golden Circle. Otto was a nice guide. I recommend waterproof hiking boots, gloves, beanie and neck gaiter (or half balaclava) for the sometimes cold wind. Crampons/ice pick/helmet/harness are provided but clothes and shoes are not. Some areas the trail is wet/slippery. Crampons are heavy so tie your boots on tight. I saw one ~9 year old on the glacier and some people in their 60s but I think the glacier hike requires some fitness and is not for people with leg problems because it's a power walk up and down stony hills/glacier trails for about 2 hours. Practise hiking trails at home beforehand :) Go behind the waterfall as suggested by Otto! Saw another waterfall with a huge rainbow!!! It was one of the most magical things I have ever seen :)

Our driver Otto was great! He is funny, knowledgeable, and kept the tour running smoothly. All the gear we needed for the hike was supplied for us. It was safe, fun, and plenty of stops for great photos. The 11 hour day went by in a breeze. Plenty of stops for bathrooms and food.

Great experience! I had a wonderful time and I loved the stories Otto told us on the bus. We were really lucky with the wheather. Good energy and gorgeous nature :)

The trip was fantastic & the glacier hike even better than expected with beautiful views. Our guide Tomas was fab and very informative!

Tomas was our guide. He was superb in all respects! We were picked up at the designated bus stop in Reykjavik and started the long drive toward the glacier but it went by quickly with Tomas’ information. Instructions for use of the crampons and harnesses were clearly communicated, and Tomas was patient with all in the group. The hike itself was spectacular - the glacier lagoon, the glacier itself and the views! Additional stops included the black sand beach which was most notable for the interesting basalt rock formations and the nesting birds on the cliffs. There was a nice restaurant at this site at which we enjoyed a late lunch. On the way home we visited 2 spectacular waterfalls. We returned back to Reykjavik at about 730 pm. A long day but the highlight of our trip!

I really enjoyed the whole tour. It was quite snowy and we are not experienced with hiking and Thomas was very patient with me - I really appreciated that. My bf also loved the experience and we recommend looking at the weather forecast just to make sure that it's sunny so you can enjoy it better :)

A great day from start to finish! Our guide (sorry, never did manage to hear his name properly) was friendly, entertaining and informative. He checked on everyone's safety on the glacier hike really diligently, especially when my husband's boot fell off mid-climb! 🤦‍♀️ An absolutely amazing experience, loved every minute of it and I'm not surprised you love your jobs, it shows!! My friends and I went on the Glaciers, South Coast Waterfalls, and Black Sand Beach tour with Einar, and we had a wonderful time. Einar was knowledgeable, helpful, and patient with the group. Getting to walk on a glacier was an incredible experience, and I highly recommend this tour!

This tour was amazing! Our guide switched up the order of the tour based on the weather, and it worked out really well - it was great to relax and eat at the black sand beach AFTER the glacier hike. The glacier hike is truly the highlight - the glacier is beautiful. Our guide (I forget his name, arg!) was super knowledgeable, and made sure we had time to take pictures and enjoy the beauty around us. I 100% recommend this tour!
