Wonderful experience. Super recommended. 3-4 hours of fun over the biggest glacier in Europe. Antoine was fantastic.

I can’t say enough good things about this tour! Instructions were sent via email and were very explicit. Our tour guide was Antwon and I can’t speak more highly about him. He was extremely knowledgable and helpful. He was making us laugh the whole time and made the experience very enjoyable. I was very nervous as I am not the most fit or adventurous person and he made me feel so uncomfortable and was checking on me throughout the trip as well as always offering his assistance. 12/10 trip and if you get Antwon consider yourself very lucky!!

The glacier hike was absolutely incredible! Our guide was Franziska, she’s just amazing beyond words! 💗 The full trip was super smooth, the guide will drive you to a closer spot to the glacier, so no time will be wasted on approaching the glacier.👍 Franzy told us the formation of glaciers and lots of interesting knowledge, also answered us a bunch of questions.🤣 She always makes sure that the 8 of us are fine and safe. We had such a great time hiking with her. It feels like 4.5 hours had passed way too fast, definitely recommend it and will choose melrakki again next time while traveling to iceland!🫶🏻

With Melrakki Adventures, we had the most amazing hike on glacier with breathtaking views. Our guide Franzy talked about creation of glacier and anything we were interested in with such a passion, it took us really in deep - amazed by mother nature all over again. Tour started at a meeting point where all of us were instructed and got all necessary equipment. Then we jumped to the off-road car which took us directly in front of the glacier, so we didn´t loose any spare time on road. Our group of just 6 people allowed us to get to know each other and mainly - the guide had really time for us and our questions. No rush. We could really experience and enjoy the time on glacier. We felt safe the whole time as she was watching carefully if we walk correctly, alert on any pottential danger, holes, etc. When she saw that we need more time for taking photos, she even stopped and waited till other bigger groups passed through, so we have the best shots. All in all, to have awesome guide and company, you can trust and have really time for you, is the most important thing. Together with something so amazing as glacier, we had the experience of lifetime we will never forget.

Hiking up Falljökull in a small group with Melrakki Adventures was the cherry on top of an already amazing week long trip along the south coast of Iceland. We arrived in windy and rainy conditions which were still safe enough to venture up the glacier, and our guide Franzi encouraged us that these conditions were arguably the best way to see the glacier, and she was so right! The rain cleaned the glacier completely, and made any sunlight hitting the ice look so beautiful, and we saw three rainbows while we were up there! Franzi made the whole experience even more enjoyable. From the safety brief she provided, to the little bits of teaching about Iceland’s history and geography she gave us, and she was kind enough to also give us some recommendations for the rest of our trip along the South Coast. Booking with Melrakki gave us the benefit of touring with a smaller group and getting to spend more time up on the glacier - they’re amazing at what they do!

The smaller group was great, we started right at the base of the glacier. Our guide Antoine was super fun, enthusiastic, and really gave it his all! Sine we were a smaller group, he was able to setup some climbing ropes to have us go through Ice tunnels. Amazing!

We had a fantastic guided hike on the glacier! The guide was so kind, knowledgeable, and patient. They let us take any pictures we wanted and even added a little surprise at the end of the hike!

We had an amazing time on this hike! We felt safe and well taken care of by our guide, and we loved that it was a small group. We also loved that we got to do a bit of off-roading (with our guide driving) in an old Defender on the way to the glacier -- it made the experience even cooler than it would've been otherwise. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Our guard Farrni ( hope i spelt it correctly 🙈) was such an amazing person. She informed us of all we needed to know & our safety was her most priority. My husband and I had an experience of a life time with the tour. The Views were exceptional

Highly recommend this tour company. The tour guide, Hankah, was very knowledgeable and safety conscious. This tour company drives you up very close to the glacier in their super jeep so that more of your time hiking is on the glacier itself. A unique experience, one of the highlights of our trip!

To tell you quite the truth I was not in for this as a. I had gone on a glacier before b. I was a bit worried about my knee I have had surgery a couple years ago. I was going more for my teenage son to have the experience than myself, to be honest. I am glad I went! Overall the walk is interesting, is a bit physically challenging but nothing amazing and most importantly Xavier, our leader and guide, was a riot! He made the difference, along with a small group of only 6, far from helmet-less hordes other operators drag up and down the glacier for a short glimpse! He made a pleasantly planned walk interesting, funny and very informative (eg about climate change!) from minute one in the land Rover off-road ride, to the daring glimpse into the 30 meter down sink-hole from its edge (...), the Viking water drink, etc, etc. Of course, we shall never forget our glacial biology lesson about the "glacier hares"! Xavier made us feel most importantly safe, comfortable in risky environment and sure of every step we took as he was really looking out for us, regardless of skill of physical condition. Melrakki equipment is in tip top shape and they provide it and do teach you how to use it! Despite a looming storm we had lots of fun, my knee was fine at the end, made it back dry and safe and have the pictures to show! Thanks Melrakki Team, was great! Highly recommended! BTW the one and only gas station near the airport where Melrakki picks you up has very decent food choices at its cafeteria and believe me you will get back hungry!

We went on a rainy day and were worried that we wouldn't have fun. Our guide, Ant1 completely made the trip worth it for us. He was amazing! He went above and beyond with our 9 year old daughter. She loved him and insisted on being the leader and standing next to him the whole time. Ant1 was hilarious and kept us laughing, while bringing us on the adventure of a lifetime. We did things that other guides don't do, like going through an ice tunnel that he dug and using the rope and harness to look down into crevices. Because of him, it was our favorite thing we did in Iceland!

This tour company is excellent, Javi was our guide, he was knowledgeable, fun and really worked hard to make sure we all had a fabulous hike. I highly recommend this tour, it’s truly a fabulous experience!

Enjoyed being in a smaller group. We got to the glacier first in the morning, and explored without the crowds that arrived later. Our guide was knowledgeable and made everyone feel comfortable.
