Incredibly impressed by not only the sights to be seen but Ahmed Zaki our guide was a never ending fountain of knowledge, who gave context to even the smallest details of what we were seeing. We would have missed so much had Ahmed not been with us. I would highly recommend this tour and especially our guide to anyone wanting a special experience at a truly spectacular place.

Mustafa Rafat took me on the Pyramids & Saqqara tour. He was the best guide I met on my whole trip. He is a serious Egyptologist participating on regular excavations. He’s also a solid photographer and I got a ton of good photos from the day. Memphis is highly recommended. An epic day.

We had an amazing tour of the Giza plateau and pyramids with Marwa Ghazal! [email protected] (she will plan everything for you) Marwa is truly engaging and has such an awesome way of sharing the history and culture of ancient Egypt, as well as present-day Egyptian life. We toured all around Cairo with her, including Coptic Cairo, Ben-Ezra Synagogue, the Egyptian Museum, and a day trip to Alexandria. She took us to the market, Khan El Khalili, for shopping and Egyptian pizza (fiteer) savory & sweet - YUM! Shukran, Marwa!

This is one of the better experience ever. We have a blash. Every visit, every detail was better than the previous. The staff is kind respectull and professional. Soacially for Naggy( el salvador) . He made us feel safe and always ready to help in every way possible .

Mr. Hany Wasef, the tour guide, and Mr. Waleed Mohammed, the driver, both were exceptionally cordial and professional. An absolutely lovely day with our guide Amir. He was was very knowledgeable and pleasant and explained the history of the pyramids and landmarks in detail which brought everything to life. What a great lunch over looking the pyramids at Giza. We has the pleasure of a 2nd day with Amir goings to Giza seeing the Great Pyramids..seeing the Sphinx and riding camels. The Egyptian Museum and shopping afterwards was icing on the cake. I would highly recommend Memphis Tours due to the care we received and great guides like Amir. I can't say enough!!

Tour guide and administrators went far and above expections. We were kept busy sightseeing, experiencing many sites closer that expected. Excellent lunches with a wide variety from one day to the next. Always on time for pick up and gave a full day of encounters.

Our tour guide Ahmed and our host Kero and our driver Anwar were simply incredible. It was our first time in Egypt during the Israel War so needless to say we had some concerns as Americans visiting the territory during the tumultuous time. Everything that was promised was delivered as promised and everyone went above and beyond to make our experience lovely. Kero met us at the airport on time and escorted us through customs through a 'secret' line. Our driver was simply top notch to navigate the Egyptian streets in a professional, calm and courteous manner while getting us to our various destinations quickly. Ahmed felt like a family member escorting us through the Giza complex, Sakkara, Coptic Cairo, etc. He is quite knowledgeable of course, but the family vibe we got from him made us feel like we had an insider. He paid off the right people to get us in the right places and all the tourist police knew him so we felt like VIPs getting in Side entrances to avoid lines whenever possible. I read reviews on Trip Advisor and Flyertalk about Memphis Tours and was cautiously optimistic. I can attest that the other 5-star reviews are spot on. Next time we visit Egypt we will definitely use them again.

We had an amazing day today with our tour guide Mo salah and our driver Emam. We started the day with Mo salah telling us about a camel ride we could do to see amazing views of the pyramids in Giza. We decided to try it out and we were so happy we did! We started the day traveling to Saqqara to see the oldest Pyramids. Along the way he explained how the Egyptian people live in the agricultural areas and gave us a detailed history of the area. After that we traveled to Giza and stopped for a delicious lunch overlooking the Pyramids. We then started our visit of all of the pyramids, with Mo salah explaining everything and helping us take pictures. After exploring the area at our leisure, we had a camel ride with the most amazing views of the Pyramids! We were so happy with our driver who did an excellent job and with our very knowledgeable tour guide I would highly recommend!

Our guide in Cairo, Ebrahim, was very knowledgeable and personable. He even showed us how to write our names in hieroglyphs. He and the driver Abdur-Rahman, went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time in Giza, Sakkara and Alexandria, circumventing the crowds, highway closure, and even stopping for ice-cream and falafel.

Memphis tours was very professional and prompt when organizing our tour. Their communication was clear and they were patient and flexible. We toured Sakkarah and Giza with Sharif. Sharif is an incredible tour guide. He consistently had our best interest in mind and was very knowledgeable about all of the sights. Our teenage children called him the best tour guide we have ever had. Sharif is a pleasant and friendly man who went out of his way to make us happy. I highly recommend organizing tours through Memphis Tours.

Overall experience was FABULOUS! I would recommend Memphis Tours over & over again! They made the trip so much easier to always have translators, transportation, guides who took care of us from pick up, to hotel check in, airport check in and unexpected pharmacy visits. Our guides Menna, Dean & Abdallah went above and beyond what we expected. They were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and flexible when we needed to be. Our driver Mohammed was excellent on the crazy streets of Cairo! The tours and sites were all that we hoped they'd be! Our sons favorite was the Bent Pyramid & the most amazing site to them was the Serapheum. My husband's dream was to see the Giza Pyramids and it was all that we could have hoped for!

We took a family trip to Cairo with our adult children, sister's family and older parents. 10 of us in total. From the start, our tour consultant Haythem Hesham was so easy to work with, and was wonderful when we added people to our tour, and then more people, and then changed some things around, and then added some activities, etc etc. He made it all very easy. Our private guide in Cairo Hamada Kafafy @kafafy_egypt was fantastic. He allowed us ample time to see the sites, suggested the best "optional activities" like seeing the inside of the Great Pyramid and riding the camels. He factored in my father's mobility issue due to an injured ankle and allowed us extra time to walk to and from sites, or had the car moved to a better pick up spot. And his incredible knowledge of ancient Egypt was mindblowing. Our driver was very good. If you have ever driven in Cairo - I'm not sure there are any rules - its a bit unnerving, but we all felt safe in our vehicle. The restaurants they took us too were amazing as well. We also used them for pick up and transfer services in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan as well as a private tour in Abu Simbel. Everyone we came in contact with with was on time, very friendly and helpful, and we all felt very well take of. The aiports can be a little daunting, so having a local speaker there really made navigating customs and security much better too. Just came back from an excellent trip to Egypt. We started off, initially by contacting Ahmed Fathy from memphis Tours. He was very easy to work with & very patient. He accommodated all my requests in coming up with an itinerary that really worked for us. He made sure no detail was missed and was very quick in responding to me queries/requests. We were received by Wassim at the Cairo airport. He was responsible for communicating the various schedules & pickup times for each day. He was very helpful and very quick respond to questions. In cairo, for Giza, Sakara & the museum, we had Karam Mustafa as our guide. He was a through professional & very knowledgeable about the Egyptian history. I would highly recommend him, as a Guide, for your Cairo stay. Then we went on a cruise, to Luxor, Aswan & Abu Simbel. Our guide for this part of the tour was Mohamed Saad (momo). He is a pleasure to be with & is very patient, explaining the minutest of details of Egyptian History. Very knowledgeable & his way of presenting facts during the tour makes it very easy to understand. I would highly recommend him as a guide for your tour. Overall, I am very impressed the way Memphis Tours managed our trip. They were always one step ahead in communication & I did not have to worry about anything at all. Would give them a six star review, if it was possible. oh coming to the point of safety/security in Egypt. I did not see any issues what soever during my entire trip. Egyptians seem very friendly and easy to get along with.

I worked with Nouran to help plan a 6 day vacation for my family, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her. Nouran, helped organize our private tour to visit Cairo and the Pyramids in Giza, she also booked a Nile cruise for us, and took care of all the internal flights. Everything was very professionals, we had a tour coordinator Mustafa, who came to pick us up at the airport, and coordinated all the logistics while we were there. We had excellent Egyptologist / guide both in Cairo (Shrouk) and on the Nile Cruise (Yassir). Both Shrouk and Yassir were very knowledgeable and extremely patient with all our questions. We were very happy with our experience with Memphis tours and all the people who help plan and coordinate our trip, would highly recommend working with them for your next vacation to Egypt!!

Amazing, once in a lifetime tour of the pyramids at Giza and Sakkara. It was just our small family and our knowledgable guide Ahmed Zaki. We spent the whole day with him and our driver Hassan, who transported us safely through the busy streets of Cairo. Mr. Zaki gave us an overview of the history of the pyramids on the way to the site and then shared his deep knowledge as we walked around the pyramids and temples. We learned so much from him! He helped us to quickly resolve a ticket mixup and even helped keep the more aggressive vendors away. Excellent tour, highly recommended!

Karam & Waleed were amazing! everything was very well organised and went smoothly. Driver was great ! Karam took me to some cool places such as papyrus store, he answered all my questions and I recommend him and Memphis tours to everyone .

I can't begin to say how wonderful and complete this trip was. Everything was handled by about 6 different gentlemen who drove us, guided us, helped us through airports etc. Every moment there was someone to give us complete instructions. Our tour started in Aswan with boarding The M/S Salacia for a 3 night cruise down the Nile. The ship had elegance, our staterooms spacious and the food was excellent. The staff catered to our every move. We toured Aswan and Cairo by horse and buggy. Our optional hot air balloon over Luxor was beyond words. Tours were made to Alexandria, The Pyramids and every attraction imaginable. Most meals were included except beverages. We were also treated to a separate dinner cruise and a camel ride through the Pyramids. Our guide Mohammed was an absolute pleasure. He was so knowledgeable and considerate of all our needs. Osama was a very compassionate man who thoroughly loved his country. The Hilton Golf Hotel was simply breathtaking with a feast for breakfast. This trip changed my way of booking unknown, faraway places. I would Definitely book with Memphis Tours but would check times for excursions because we had very early wakeup times. Marwa designed our tour with suggestions and even provided a bday cake for one of our guests. Marwa stayed with me through COVID cancellations and many itinerary changes.
