Great experience to get an overview of the city. The meetingpoint was easy to find. We had a ticket (booked online) for a 30 minutes tour. With that ticket you can't get off the train during the tour. We have enjoyed the tour very much. Later on we went to see the sights on foot.
Train was late. Had to wait almost 10 min plus. Could not use it on the last leg due to the fact that it was booked for a school group. No apology. No refund. At other pick up point stopped and hardly waited for a few minutes. Next was a long wait. Could hardly hear commentary. Not worthwhile at all. Sorry. Total waste of money.
We traiin had only 3 stops with sparse information on the audio guide. Long waits at each stop as the driver was also the ticket collector and had to explain how the train worked and the difference between the two types of tickets. It was 20 minutes late for the pickup and more than 20 minutes late for a return pickup, which meant we had to walk back to catch our train to Barcelona on time. I would only recommend this train for indiciduals with mobility problems, because Girona has steep hills to navigate.
Todo resultó según lo pactado . Recomendable 100%
The train was a little old and the audio was kinda hard to hear, but it was a nice start to the day and a good introduction to Girona
Very good overview of the old city
I've travelled all over the world but Girona is one of the nicest places I've seen. So much diversity, so many different styles side by side. Girona is a must see place and the train tour guide was typically Spanish, friendly and charming.
Good value informative guide to the old city.
Good way to get the overview of the city. The audio ws comprehensive and it was good value for money. It's not like the New York bus tours. You can't get on and off. Once you're off, you're off.
Great experience! Highly recommended.
Nothing much on the city but tour was good and efficient.
The guide and train were very enjoyable and the driver was excellent. Highly recommend.
Driver very helpful. We were unable to go on the arranged date as all roads leading to the cathedral were closed due to filming. Driver arranged an alternative day.
The trip was fun but a bit too short. The explamatiobs were good in many languages but the instructions about where to join could have been clearer.
Helpful tour if you have walking challenges.
The tour takes you around the Girona city centre. The driver was friendly (as with everyone in Girona). It was a nice relaxing ride. However, you don't really need to do this tour as you get around Girona by foot quite easily - Girona is very small, and very tourist friendly with signs everywhere telling you where key monuments and landmarks are.
