Poon hill trek was so good, the sunrise in the morning is worth every step!! Everything was organised by the company effectively, our porter and guide made our 4 days even better, Diwan & Krishner were the perfect pair, happy, always in good spirits, looked after us & informed us of what is going to happen the next day, they were so accomodating to our needs, food, water, snacks!! Overall, best trip ever!

My friend and I did the Poon Hill trek with guide ( Dewan) and Porter (Krishna) they were both amazing, so patient and made our trek experience better than we could of imagined. We loved our experience, very well organised the company sorted everything from permits to food to accomodation. Could not fault anything would 100% recommend. The stairs and pain are worth the beautiful views.

We had a great trip with our guide Milan. He was super informative about all the flora (pink rhododendron trees) and fauna (we saw lots of monkeys!). He was great company and we even had a dance party the last night. Even though we went in the smokey season we had incredible views of the Himalayas in the morning. I've never seen anything so massive. They look like they're coming from outer space. Don't come to Nepal without doing a trek! Poon Hill is perfect if you only a couple of weeks in country.

We had an unforgettable experience with our awesome guide Dila Ram who took us to poon hill and back. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up staying an extra night. Dila ram organised a room with good view of Anapurna South mountain. Good food; plenty of daal bhaat available. Would love to come back and explore other parts of Nepal. Thanks Sisne Rover & Dila Ram for organising a seamless trekking trip. Recommend them.

I did this trek as a solo traveler with a guide. Diwan was friendly and patient when I needed to take it slow up the many, many, many steps. The first day started on a dusty road in the sun that wasn't very scenic and ended with 3,500+ steps up the hillside that was more challenging, but offered better views. The second day was lovely with waterfalls and rhododendrons in bloom. The third day started with a steep climb up Poon Hill where the mountains revealed themselves for the first time (it has been cloudy up until that point) which was amazing. The fourth day was a short and much easier trek down the hill. I opted for the economy package since I am alone and able to carry everything I need. When I went to the office prior to the trek, I was told that I should pay an extra $50 USD for private transportation to and from the start and end points. After discussing my options with the owner, I opted to pay for a taxi to the start point and take a public bus back to Pokhara. Consequently, my final day did not include the trip to the Old Gurung Museum and we left directly from Ghandruk rather than Kimche as indicated in the itinerary. I was not informed about this in advance, or I may have otherwise paid for the transportation to get more out of the trek. Finally, I did not get a "Certificate of Trekking Completion" or a “'Hike More, Worry Less' t-shirt as a souvenir of Nepal" as noted in the trip inclusions. Overall, I'm glad I did the trek, and I appreciated my guide, but I feel like I overpaid and could have done the same thing on my own or for less money, possibly cutting out the dusty bits of Day 1 and adding on some more downhill past Ghandruk.

Had a great trek with Milan. He made sure everything was taken care of and that I had everything I needed for a great trip through Poon Hill and the surrounding area. The sights were incredible and the trek is definitely a must-do while in Nepal. I would definitely recommend Sisne Rover for treks from Pokhara.

Had a whale of a time on this trek, it’s short and sweet for Nepal standards but it is plenty tough at times and is certainly an achievement! Milan was a terrific guide, he felt like a proper mate and we had loads of laughs throughout. Accommodation is basic but more than adequate - clean, hot showers, comfortable, free wifi. Food was fantastic, we loved our daily dal bhat (24 hour power!) If you’re reasonably fit with experience of hill walking, expect an hour less of walking per day than what is described. First time trekkers, be prepared for prices 3/4 times more than in the city, 1l water is around 150/200, you’ll need a lot of it on big elevations and there are no ATMs, so bring enough cash!

I've had a great time. Trail to Poon Hill was really beautiful and offered amazing views including Annapurna South. My guide, Ram, was very professional and kind during my 3n4d trekking. And the tour operator, Sisne Rover, organized everything including accommodation, transportation and meal very well. Highly recommended.

Best experience with the best guide, Milan. He treated me like a younger brother (bai). I’ll definitely be coming back to this tour guide experience to do a base camp of sorts.

We had the most amazing trek, made even better by our wonderful guide Anil (Pai as we called him!) He was so knowledgeable about the trek whilst also teaching us so much about Nepali culture and lots of different phrases. He was always on hand to help with anything we needed and we always felt 100% safe with him, even if at times we were going a little slow on the walk! I could not recommend this trek highly enough to people, and hopefully you are also lucky enough to have Anil as your guide!

Recently, I embarked on a 4-day trek that was as much an adventure as it was an enlightening journey, thanks to our guide Milan and porter Krishna. Their expertise and company transformed the hike into an experience beyond mere walking and scenery. Milan and Krishna weren't just our guides; they became our trekking companions, sharing riveting tales and insights into the local culture. Their knowledge of the terrain and the local customs added layers of depth to our adventure that we couldn't have gotten from any guidebook. Each step of our journey was accompanied by lessons in the local dialect. Learning Nepalese phrases was not only practical but also immensely fun. This linguistic twist turned every encounter with locals into a warm exchange rather than a mere passing-by, truly enriching our experience. The routes chosen by our guides were impeccable, weaving through the best spots that highlighted the natural beauty and cultural richness of the area. They were well-prepared for the varying difficulties of the trek and always had tips at the ready to tackle the more challenging segments. This trek was more than just a physical challenge; it was a cultural immersion, a linguistic quick-course, and a friendship-forging journey. The memories of laughter, shared stories, and breathtaking views are vividly etched in my mind. For those considering a trek in this region, I can't recommend Milan and Krishna enough. They will ensure your journey is safe, enjoyable, and filled with the spirit of Nepal. Their expertise and hospitable nature guarantee that I’ll be returning for another trek in the future.

We have been guided by guide Mr Milan Khadka and porter Mr Krishna for 4D3N Poon Hill trekking. It is our first trek in Nepal and it is amazing. Milan and Krishna have been super hospitable and nice, they have ensured in every single way that our trek is a comfortable and memorable one. Milan will also ensure that he stop at track to share with us all kind of general knowledge, i.e. plants, animals and even basic Nepalese language! Krishna is a workhorse, fit and humorous. We are great to have been assigned these easy-going gentlemen. These gentlemen shared among themselves almost 2,000 treks in their past almost 15 years of experience, including Annapurna Base Camp and Everest Base Camp. I highly recommend you to engage Sisne Rover Trekking for any treks, if possible to have Milan and Krishna as your guide and porter. I’m pretty sure they will be great guides and companions alongside your trip.

A memorable 4 days with Guide Rajish & Porter Krishna. Fantastic scenery and wonderful to stop at the local villages for lunch & overnight in the teahouses. The walk was slightly harder than I thought with a 2000m climb in first two days and early morning 400m climb to Poon Hill for sunrise. The views of the mountains early morning were amazing and worth the early starts. The trek was very sociable and you bumped into the same people at the various stops which was good fun. The trek was made even more special by Rajish & Krishna #dreamteam who were knowledgeable, attentive and good fun throughout. We could not recommend them highly enough.

It was one of the most beautiful treks I've ever done! I was with two friends for the 5 days poon hill trek, from 25th August to 30th August. Milan was our guide and we couldn't have asked for better. He was always ready to support us and give us many useful tips to tackle the trek. He gave us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in Nepalese culture and the evenings spent in front of the stove talking, dancing and chatting were wonderful. Milan created a fun and pleasant atmosphere that made the trek less tiring. Special thanks also to Soros and Anahil who were super helpful with all of us. The weather was also perfect, we never encountered rain. Super recommended tour especially if you do it with Milan :)

We booked the Ghorepani Poonhill trek as our first trekking experience in Nepal. The view of this trekking route was really majestic as you will be able to see the mountain ranges of Annapurna. Apart from the scenery, the reception and accommodation from our guide Milan and porter Krishna were great. They tried to help us when we encountered issues and always being funny during the tour. This experience will never be forgotten and looking forward to many more trekking experiences in Nepal 🇳🇵

My partner and I had a fabulous adventure trekking to Poon Hill. Not only did we get to see the beautiful sights of the mountains and lush green forest but we learnt all about Nepal from a local. Milan our guide is easy to talk to and ask questions about life in Nepal. He would spot wildlife and plants of interest and tell you about the local people in the mountains. Milan ensured we had everything we needed throughout our trek. Krishna, our porter, kept things fun and entertaining making us laugh everyday. I highly recommend booking Sisne Rover Trekking Company.

We loved our 4 day hike in the hills and forest with our guide Milan. We had lots of fun and great conversation. Milan has great knowledge of the mountains and everything around us. I loved the stops in the little towns were we had lunch and stayed for the night, all very cute and interesting to see daily live in the mountains. The tracks lead through the most beautiful forest, valleys and mountains. Milan made sure we were well looked after all the time. Thank you. We will be back for a longer walk one day.
