I would like to say Issac took good care of me as a solo traveler from accra to Cape coast to assin Manso. We did stable over 6 hrs of traffic which was tough but he assured safety and made sure I was comfortable at all times... U.S traveler

I have had two great days with Nyonkopa Eco Tours and especially with my guide Isaac. I felt very comfortable and safe all the way. It was like discovering a new place with new friends - and I am very grateful for that. Thanks Nyonkopa Eco Tours, thanks Isaac!

I completed the canopy walk at Kakum National Park, and I visited Elmina Castle and Cape Coast Castle with Isaac as a tour guide. Everything was easy and straightforward from booking the trip until the end of the day. The company confirmed pick up time and place, and Isaac picked me up from my hotel and dropped me off there at the end of the day. Right away I felt comfortable with Isaac. He was kind, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the local areas and the attractions. Any questions I had, Isaac had answers. He made sure that if I needed anything he would be able to take care of it. Isaac encouraged me to do the full canopy walk and kindly took photos for me, which I am very glad to have. Isaac took care of all the fees for the park and the castles - which came with their own local guides - and he accompanied me through everything. Isaac's timing was perfect as we arrived at Kakum before it was very hot outside, and we got to the castles before bigger tour groups and could see them without having to wait for a big group. He was patient with me and looked after me very well. I would highly recommend booking this tour.

Communication was great seeing as I booked very last minute. Our guide Isaac was so helpful, considerate, and knowledgeable that we booked a second tour with them the next day! The Kakum rainforest is a must see when in coastal Ghana and for Black Americans, especially, the castles are important history.

My tour today was absolutely amazing! The company manager made contact the day before to confirm my pick-up time, might guide’s name my, as well as a gentle but important reminder to wear proper shoes! (Make sure you have on sneakers that are for outdoor activity folx.) Issac was an excellent guide and was with me every step of the way. As a solo traveler this was truly appreciated. He provided me history as we headed to the central region and selected an amazing restaurant after our first to tops so I could eat. Mabel’s Table was EXCELLENT! Issac provide additional details at the castles and while at Kakum National Park used my phone to get video of me crossing all 7 bridges. I had a fabulous day. The tours at the castles and in the park had excellent guides. Issac my personal guide for the day was attentive, professional, and helpful. I will recommend this company to friends and family coming to Accra in the future. Well done!

We did a whole-day Cape Coast tour which included Kakum National Park, Cape Coast Castle, and Elmina Castle. Mr. Isaac was very professional, friendly, patient, and courteous with us. He picked us up at our hotel in Accra, took us to all the attractions at Cape Coast, and brought us safely back to our hotel, all the while being very engaging and knowledgeable...and he takes great pictures too!!!...lol...The Company is also very easy to communicate with and their payment options are very convenient. Overall, we had a smooth, easy time with them. Would 10/10 recommend it!!!

This tour was by far one of the most memorable experiences that I’ve had here in Ghana. Having the opportunity to visit both the Elima, and cape coast castle was eye opening , Emotional , and worth the experience. Also being able to experience the Kakum canopy was a plus too. Now getting to my guide; Clement ! Clement was attentive, sincere , knowledgeable and provided a more personalized experienced based on my needs, not to mention his patience and awesome photography skills; he captures your moments and records videos for you in order for you to really be in-tune with the guided tours , and you don’t miss a thing. If you want a more intimate experience having the time to have really take in everything that you’re experiencing without distraction this tour with Nyonkopa Goodfriend Eco Tours is what you need to take . Btw wear comfy walking shoes and bring water for the canopy tour , it’s a 30 min mini hike to get to the top .

We hired this company for the private tour experience as we did not want to do a group tour as we wanted to adjust the itinerary slightly. Cornelius was an amazing host and we had so much fun and learned a lot. Smooth drive, all accommodations were handled and had great conversations along the way. Highly recommend and will use again when I’m back in Ghana.

My experience in Ghana was phenomenal because of the expertise, professionalism, and service of Christian Ansong and Goodfriend Eco Tours. From the beginning, Christian helped us plan a personalized adventure that encompassed the history, beauty, and culture of Accra and Elmina. Christian was beyond flexible and accommodating when we missed our original flight. He ensured that all of our excursions and activities were rebooked. The entire trip, I felt safe with Christian and his crew. They were intentional about making us feel welcome. I highly recommend Christian and Goodfriend Eco tours for your Ghana adventure.

Excellent tour. Kweku was patient and kind and made me feel like I had the entire day for the tour. Along the way to the castles, he picked up local snacks along the road and taught me a lot about the Ghanaian culture. Highly recommend.

My tour guide was very accommodating when it came to scheduling me. I got to experience all the sights with the limited amount of time I had. He was knowledgeable and answered any question I had. I highly recommend this tour.

Had a great time on this tour. I made a last minute booking at the end of a work trip and glad I did. Kweku was a really thorough guide, provided a lot of information on the history of Ghana and her people, walked with me on the canopy bridges and took me to both castles. He was gracious enough to find me a place that served vegetarian food and also obliged as I did some shopping. I also appreciated his driver who managed to navigate some intense traffic on Friday evening to get me back home safe. I would encourage this tour to others!

We booked this rather last minute due to a later arrival during COVID. Kweku and his team got in touch in the morning and arranged the day. Throughout the trip they followed good COVID hygiene, were attentive to our needs and took pictures for us. In summary, they showed us great Ghanaian hospitality and we ended up booking more excursions with them during our stay.

At the end of July 2021, my nieces and I visited Ghana as first time guests to “The Motherland.” We booked a full week of sights and activities with Nyonkopa Eco Tours Ghana a few months ahead of our travel date. Our tour guide, Kweku Ansong, provided us with very important information regarding travel requirements and tour options prior to our arrival. Our tour included the must see places and historical sites: Elmina Castle & Cape Coast Castle, Labadi Beach, W.E.B. Du Bois Centre for Pan-African Culture, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum, Independence Square/Black Star Gate, African Unity Monument, Jamestown Lighthouse & Ussher Fort, Assin Manso Slave River Site, Shai Hills Resource Reserve, The Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary & Cultural Village, Wii Waterfall, Adanwomase Tourism Centre (Home of Kente Cloth & Cultural Tourism), Makola Market, Volta River boat ride, Cedi Beads Industry, and Akwaaba Kakum National Park (canopy/hanging bridges). We also made unexpected stops at exciting and educational places along the way. Kweku also arranged our hair appointment at Alice Skills Training and Braiding Center. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this tour company. Thanks for the memories and your warm, welcoming & patient spirit, Kweku! ~ Darlene, Erica & Quetta (Winter Garden/Orlando, Florida USA)
