We used Ghana City Tours to tour Accra. They were very insightful and helpful and we saw a lot more than we had initially agreed on. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Accra's history and political as well as socio economic status. We had a great time seeing the city and will definitely use them again to see the coastal areas on our next visit. 5 stars!

I had a fantastic time with my tour guide Isaac! He's very knowledgeable about Ghana and took me to all the sites I wanted to see. We visited Cape Coast Castle, Elimina Castle, the Ancestral Slave walk and the Last Bath, Boti Waterfalls and Umbrella Rock, Independence Square, and Makola Market. Me and my wife visited Accra, Ghana in November and had the best time of our lives. Our first tour was to Cape Coast which was an approximately 3hr ride from our apartment. Chris, our tour guide was outstanding, very knowledgeable of the places visited, and made our time there worth it. We are definitely going to make another visit, more site seeing, and experience more of the cultural celebrations.

Visited Accra for a few days with the Family, (hubby and 2 kids under 4) We had the chance to do the Ghana city tours and glad we did. We were driven around the sights in comfort by our very knowledgeable guide, huge thanks to Kay. A particular highlight was the Aburi gardens, so much history in all the plant/tree life and a very interactive tour. The journey up there was amazing, as it was quite a way above sea level we were treated to a breathtaking view on the city below. The various beach locations including Tema an Labadi were also a treat, especially for the kids. The Kwame Nkrumah Museum and near by arts centre were great as if offered an array of ornaments, paintings and clothing, reasonably priced (if you know how to haggle!) The drumming session with the local drummers was a highlight for my son. I would definitely recommend.

Although, I visited Accra in a business trip and the time was so tight. The guys prepared a tour for me within 4 hours that made me know a lot about Ghana history and its landmarks. The tour leader Isaac has extensive information about the country. I enjoyed a lot. Thank you

I’ve had the opportunity to travel to Northern Ghana; Northern Region and Upper West region. It was educational and exhilarating - seeing different people; experiencing different cultures and food😍; new and untamed landscapes; and animals. Ghana is privileged to have such diverse landscapes and people. Do visit Ghana and the regions if you get the time to - you won’t regret it at all!

My experience at the lovely places in Ghana was a life changing one... really learnt a lot ... so much to do. I was glad I had this trip... going to the Elmina Castle taught me a lot of things ... and I will never forget this day..... I recommend this place to everyone ... long live Ghana 🇬🇭

My tour with Ghana city tours was ultimately fantastic. From the of Accra to the mini safari of shai hills, cape coast castles and the canopy walk, water falls of Wli and the afadzato mountain are memories I can't forget. The driver/tour guide was particularly amazing. The little lectures on the traditions and cultures of the people and places painted vivid pictures of life centuries ago. Kudos Ghana city tour. My trip was definitely worth it.

It was my first time visiting Ghana and I had an amazing time at all the locations we visited, particularly loved my trip because of the tours. So much to learn and so much to do, but sadly I didn't have enough time to go everywhere on our agenda, I'll definitely be back. Particularly loved learning about Kwame Nkrumah and going through the rope course at the Botanical Gardens. It's an experience I'll recommend.

This was a truly excellent experience from beginning to end. Upon arrival, our driver, Isaac, picked us up in a timely manner at the early hour of 5 am. He made sure we had comfortably settled into our apartment before leaving us. Later, Isaac took us for an over-night tour along the Gold Coast, with an overnight stop at Elmina (slave castle) and a visit to Kakum national park. He was not just a driver but an excellent guide, speaking knowledgeably about Ghana's rich history and the local traditions. He was also very considerate and sensitive to our needs. The vehicle was very comfortable and safe, even on roads that were less well maintained. Overall, we were delighted with the service and would enthusiastically recommend Ghana City Tours!

My family and I had a fabulous time exploring Ghana's rich interesting history, beautiful terrain, and lovely people. Ghana City Tours was instrumental in a providing timely transportation alternative, while offering an excellent level of communication during our visits. Among other places, we visited the Lighthouse Village, the Kwame Nkrumah Museum, the Botanical Gardens, and several unique village markets. This being our first time in Africa, we naturally had plenty of questions about our surroundings. Our well-versed, native Ghanaian Tour Specialist, (Isaac) was able to answer each question with a steady flow of personal and experiential knowledge. We especially enjoyed learning about the importance of Ghana’s natural resources (including various plants that can be used for medicinal purposes). I recall many stories from my own mom about how many natural remedies can be found to cleanse and detox—-Ghana’s rich terrain seems to encompass many of these plant sources. We were only there for a week—-not nearly enough time to explore all that Ghana has to offer and all that Ghana City Tours can thoroughly cover. The entire family is looking forward to venturing back out to this marvelous country to complete our exploration journey very soon!
