Really nice guide, and a great way to explore city and eat well. We had a great lunch, good coffee , and visited the local markets. Tour can be changed according to interest.

Imagine: I arrived to Sao Paulo at 5 am after an overnight flight from Germany. I thought it best to book a tour directly to bridge the time before I could check into my hotel. This way I was greeted at the airport - at 5 am!!! My guide Ilan gave me a wonderful tour. I learned so much about Brazil and saw many places of Sao Paulo. We stopped at a street market, at a bakery (much bigger and much better than I think), at the historic market and in a very hip coffee place. I ate so much, all so delicious, tried so many sorts of fruit. After my first hours in Sao Paulo I have experienced the vibes of this city. My guide made me feel welcome like an old friend would have. It is an amazing tour. Do not miss out on this fun.

Highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide, Doris, was incredible. She went above and beyond to make sure we had only the best experience possible. I have family in Sao Paulo and when I shared the locations we went to and food we tasted, they said that we truly got the full Brazil experience and went to the best places in town! Not only was the food we ate the best of the best, but the history and context we got from Doris made the experience a very rich one. It's clear that she is passionate about what she does. She was a wealth of knowledge and answered all of our questions and then some. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting Sao Paulo, either for the first time or return visitors like ourselves. Wow! My aunt and I had such a wonderful time with Doris. She took us to fun, incredible places in the City that we would never see on our own, and the food we tasted was absolutely delicious! We had a fabulous day on the gastronomic tour with Laura. She took time to learn about us, our interests, and our previous exposure to São Paulo. Because we had just arrived and hadn’t done a cultural or history tour, she customized the route to make sure that we drove by certain sites so she could provide some information about São Paulo. Of course, the food was the best part! Laura planned the tour to show us a range of foods in a range of settings: the best pão de queijo in city in a beautiful setting; a local farmer’s market for street food and to see fruit and veggies for sale; an upscale bakery for a variety of sweet and savory bites; and the municipal market for mortadella sandwiches, Brazilian nuts, and a sampling of tropical fruit. Laura provided an excellent education on traditional Brazilian food throughout the tour. She explained how certain foods developed in Brazilian history and culture, and she answered all of our questions in detail and with humor. Laura is a delightful guide. She set a fun, enthusiastic tone, and throughout the tour she introduced us to other guides and vendors as if we were old friends. We highly recommend this tour and the Gregtur company. They were in touch with us by WhatsApp prior to the tour to make sure that we had all of the information we needed, and they followed up afterwards to confirm that everything went well. My only regret is that we didn’t have more time in São Paulo to go on more of their tours!

We had a fantastic day with Doris! She was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and taught us a lot about life in São Paulo. We spent the day visiting different parts of the city and trying different local foods, all of which were delicious. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get an in depth look at the city from a true Paulista!

Laura was a bright, fun, energetic guide who was enthusiastic about sharing São Paulo and its food with us. She adapted the tour for us based on our conversations and added some quick diversions for us knowing we wouldn't be able to see more of the city during our stay, which I greatly appreciated. There is a lot of time in the car due to the nature of the city, but the drive was pleasant and Laura kept us engaged with interesting tidbits about the different areas we passed through. The food is delicious and filling (believe her when she says there is a lot coming), and I feel we got a good sampling of local cuisine.

It was wonderful to hang out with Doris. She taught us so much about the city, even in the rain! We tasted wonderful things we could never have found on our own! Thank you!!!

Laura was so friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about Brazilian food and history. We had a great time, learned a lot and definitely consumed many delicious things. My only complaint is the time spent in the car, but understand that is unavoidable in São Paulo with the lack of efficient public transportation and heavy traffic. Regardless, it was a great way to see the city.

What an amazing trip. The team communicated ahead of time. Our tour guide Vicki was wonderful! She navigated around our interests and negotiated some deals for us. The food was also incredible! The gastronomy tour was amazing. I’m sure all of the tour guides are great because Gregtur is very responsive and accommodating to your needs. However, Doris who showed me around is the best! She has a keen understanding of what intrigues you and is an overall joy to be around. Also, our tour was on the day of the second Brazilian World Cup game so I’m glad I was with her because it was hectic. Thank you Doris and Gregtur for showing me the great eats in São Paulo!
