My family loved the tour and Florine was a wonderful host. So many fun stops with delicious food & drinks. This was absolutely one of the highlights of our travels through Ireland. We can’t wait to come back and explore the Galway area again!

We loved this tour and the places we visited were wonderful. Fluerine (not sure of spelling) was the perfect guide; knowledgeable, helpful and cheerful. We loved learning about the history of the small businesses we visited and how they worked to use locally sourced products and concerns for the environmental impact. The food and drinks were excellent. I especially loved Little Lane Coffee and Truffles. I went back later and actually talked to the co-owner of Little Lane Coffee and learned so much. He was incredibly gracious. Our guide also offered to help us find places and would make recommendations. We found “Charlie Byrnes Bookstore” thanks to her. I would highly recommend this tour.

Danny was an exceptional tour guide and this food tour was one of the most loved experiences of the group I traveled with! His extensive knowledge of Galway and the excitement surrounding the food of local artisans that we visited was something to be admired. Emma was an amazing guide. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history behind the foods. This was by far the best food tour I’ve ever done and my group agrees. I definitely don’t expect to be filled by the end of the tour but it was so much included. Exploring Galway on this tour helped us learn so much about the city and Ireland. I can’t wait to visit again and do another food tour!

I loved my tour with Danny around some of Galway’s best bites and drinks. Danny not only shared a lot about Galway’s food culture but also tons about Galway’s history as well, so this tour is really two in one! Every bite I had was delicious, and in the following days, I revisited 4 of the places we visited on the tour, so I felt I really found excellent food where I might not have otherwise. As a solo traveler, this was a great way to meet other like minded foodies. There’s also so much food available on this tour you have no risk of leaving hungry. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to eat well and learn more about Galway too!

This tour was a highlight of our time in Galway. Michelle was a wonderful guide, and we got a sense not only of the local food but also the people and culture. Everything was delicious, and we got some additional recommendations for other places to stop at during our trip, which were great as well!

I love to do food tours when I go to a new city, and this tour was one of the best I have been on. Don’t worry you will not leave the tour hungry! I loved that we were introduced to restaurants, markets, and shops that I wouldn’t have found without this tour and I truly felt like I was getting a sense of the “real” Galway through the foods we tasted. I had the best cup of seafood chowder I’ve ever had in my life on this tour! I’d highly recommend going on your first day in Galway so you will have a chance to head back to some of your favorites - and the guide will also give you some recommendations for additional places to head to. Seriously a must for anyone staying in Galway - you will not be disappointed!

Florine was our food guide yesterday. We found her presentation and knowledge of the local Ireland foods to be highly informative and amazing!! Florine was so friendly, most personable and open to answering all of our questions. We learned many interesting facts about each location we toured, and she was truly prepared with samples for us. Danny McGill was the guide and he is a great guy. Friendly, organized, very knowledgeable. Very nice choices for where to eat to get a good selection. All this was very memorable for all the people on the tour.

Having done several of these in Spain, Italy and E Europe, this was arguably the BEST one I have attended. The group was lovely and our guide; Claire was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate about Galway and the Irish food scene. It was a joy to be in her presence and the food, spirits and history were second to none. I highly recommend to anyone coming to Galway to do this, it’s a 100% winner

I spent 24 hours in Galway and I highly recommend this tour as a great way to get a taste of the history, culture and flavor of Galway in a limited amount of time. I had some life changing bites that left me with a love of the city. Book Wednesday through Saturday because earlier in the week many great Galway producers are closed. Also leave yourself some time( at least one meal time) after the tour in Galway to follow up on the great recommendation you will receive from your guides.

Come hungry!! This tour was such a fun way to experience the food scene in Galway. You get good portions of the food you're going to taste and everything was delicious. I'd also suggest wearing stretchy pants.. highly recommend! Michelle was a great guide and very knowledgable about Galway's history.

We had a really enjoyable tour with Michelle on Saint Valentine's Day. She managed to mix local history with the best of Galway's food offerings. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours.
