Good walk for the Mansions & murder tour. I highly recommend it. Early morning was best for cooler temps. Bug spray is a must. Have fun fun

such an interesting tour! Showed us parts of Galveston that we would not have a reason to ever pass by!

The host did a good job of explaining, was personable and took us on a leisurely walk. We saw the outside of the houses only and were clustered within a few blocks.

She was very knowledgeable and told us a lot of history. She also told us additional Items about the town and culture. Responded to our questions with great adoration. It was obvious that she is very proud of Galveston and represented her home town well.

It was my wife’s birthday and she loves murder mystery. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and thoughtful and made us feel like we were in the time period

WELL...if you're looking for something to DO in Galveston...this is something to do. There's not much to DO in Galveston. The streets are dirty and weedy and everything seems old and worn down, from the neighborhoods to the beach. Not very many people walking around (guess its not spring break yet) and not much shopping to do. BUT the tour guide was friendly & nice and she did a decent job answering our questions. There was ONE murder discussed on this tour and we saw the home the murderer lived in. My guess is there's more info on the ghost tours but we weren't that fond of doing a ghost tour.

Jay, our local guide was great and accommodating for leaving out the gruesome details considering our young children! The booking on line was a bit confusing as we thought we were booking a historical scavenger hunt and changing the day and time, although easy, did not come out on our confirmation. Call to confirm!

The host was super punctual and personable. She walked at our pace and provided us with some interesting information on a murder story and the mansions. It's definitely worth taking this tour, even though it technically covers just houses from the streets. I would have never known which houses to look out for if not for this tour. Thank you!

100% recommend. I love learning about the history and connections to other main events or other regions history. Plus she covered cultural knowledge and oriented us with a lot of new ideas for activities in the area.
