I really enjoyed this trip more than I could possibly imagine. A full packed day amazing lunch so much to take in our guide Toghrul was first class very helpful friendly and understanding. The memories will last a life time

I must say the tour was very professional and organized, they came to pick us from our hotels. We had a glance at the history of Azerbaijan at the Jumaa Mosque, and a lot of beautiful scenery from lakes and mountains. Can’t forget to mention our amazing tour guide Toghrul, an energetic young man with a good sense of humor :) Would recommend this trip to everyone!

It was bad organisation, first I reviced a call a day prior by Mr Rza to change to 4th of August but I couldn't due flight date. I was asked to be ready 8:30am on 3rd which I did. During the trip we made alot of rest stops that we spend unnecessary time and when we came to meal/prayer time we had only 20-40mins (we were not allowed to order and served 2 small chicken legs, spoon of rice(yes!!) , soup, salad and 5 peices of fries), I wish we were able to order with paying difference, then we had to take our tea in plastic cup as no time. On the way we were told if we went to the fountain we will be late but the choice is yours which we decided to go. we went back to baku at 12 mid night and bus suddenly stopped at old town and I was asked by Mr Rza to "walk" to my hotel at middle of night!! When I raised my concerns about its night and I did take package from TripAdvisor first he told its safe city and police everywhere but i told him we walked all day i can't walk 7 to 9mins to my hotel then he argued with driver to drop me off. I reached home 12:40 am with a planned flight next day. I have booked this through TripAdvisor with extra 100AED (50 manat) compared to any baku travel office, just for trusting the app. I wish in future there will be more organization.

Couldn’t ask for a better trip and to be more organized with AZP , again Leila with being helpful and supportive throughout all the trip, we had a blast on top of the mountain through the telefreik and enjoyed the paddle boat ride, lunch was just in middle of the forrest

Great day out with Yusif. Varied and beautiful scenery, from desert to green mountains. Would highly recommend if you have a spare day in Baku 5*

To start with the good points: - Beautiful tour where you’ll see a lot of different points in Azerbaijan nature with some beautiful photo spots - Price of 100 manat per person is okay given the long drive and points covered Negative points: - Lunch: the lunch was located at a beautiful place in the forest but the food quality was very poor and consisted of a soup, a plate of plain rice and 3 small pieces of meat. As dessert a coup of tea was served. Th second very negative point was the tour guide Michelle who had a really bad temper and explained only the bare minimum. If asked any additional questions, she replied in a very offended way, plus she always pressured the group “Hurry up, Why are you taking so long etc.”. I understand that there are many points to visit but still it is possible to communicate in a more friendly way. On the drive back to Baku she shouted loudly in Russian language with the bus driver for some reason.

The guide and his professionalism. It was value addition with the amazing sightseeing. The places well maintained and having healing ambience.

Highly recommend this tour operator. Punctual, Professional and very accommodating. Timur has been great in explaining all the tour packages and is available almost all time. Azizah, the tour guide has been very friendly and has explained all the nuances of the tour all through. Thoroughly enjoyed the Gabala tour and would definitely recommend everyone to consider this operator. Azizah has also gone beyond expectations in explaining the best places of visit within Baku and the dishes to try. We are vegetarians but had no problems for they have taken special care ensuring that we get what we need.

The landscape was amazing.we strongly recommend Gabala tour who likes the nature.Especially suspension bridge and the tea from "Samovar" national teapot

Gabala is really amazing place.everywhere covered with snow.On the we stopped for the traditional dishes Kutab.That was really tasting amazing.

It was my second trip with this company.we visited to juma mosque in the shamakhi there is really unique place. The sleeping beauty peak is also amazing place and you can observate whole city frok there.i strongly recommend to everyone who loves history and nature.

We had coordinated with Mr. Teymur from AZP Travel. He and his partner explained us about trip while we visited their office in Old City, Baku. We booked a one-day trip to Shamakhi and Gabala. It was very well organized. Our tour guide, Murad was really good and quite knowledgeable about the places we visited. There were no hiccups and everything was excuted as stated. Murad made sure everyone of us was comfortable throughout the trip. One thing I would say that the food could be improved. Everything else was great! The trip overall was quite refreshing. Definitely recommended!

The trip was very well organized. Tural was a very good guide he was helping us and explaining in details about each place. We have visited many places including mosque, honey place, lunch in nature, gabala with cable car and beautiful lake. The best part was gabala. It is really an amazing city.

Tural our guide makes our trip smooth and nice. Sightseeing remarkable. The restaurant atmosphere is great but the food was less than average.

- They started very late: The voucher says 9:00, then the guy said 9:30, then 9:50, then 10:10.. They arrived at 10:31 - They decided not to stop at Diri Baba Mausoleum without informing us - They didn’t offer Azerbaijani tea when we stopped at the Suspension Bridge in Zarnava (unlike what is written) - When we arrived at Tufandag Mountain Resort, the cable cars were temporarily deactivated because of the rain. We asked the guide if they will turn them on again once the rain stops, and he said no. Then we just sat in a café there and they offered us coffee and dessert. After like 50 minutes, I went outside towards the side where the cable car operates and discovered that it was working. I asked the guide again if we can take it now, and he said it’s too late now because the last trip towards the mountains was 15 minutes ago (this means we could have taken it). - The guide almost didn’t speak or explain anything during the trip, while the vast majority of the time was spent inside the minivan. Even when we reached Juma Mosque, he said that we can read the historical details that are written on the wall there. We believe the reason is that the person with us was a guide trained for this trip; something in the morning happened to the real guide and caused the delay. - The trip was very tiring. This point is not their mistake, but I’m just saying. We were 6 tourists in total (me, my friend and 4 others), and everyone was suffering at the end of the day. Half of us didn’t even want to continue the trip when we reached like midway. - We requested TripAdvisor later for a partial refund due the above. They rejected.

Having a day tour with AZP travel to Gabala was amazing and pocket friendly. It included everything like tickets, lunch, pick and drop from your location and one thing that I really didn’t expect was when they started offering free water for the trip. Although we came prepared and brought some water with us, that small initiative was a real surprise for me. It was around 12 hours trip visiting many places with giving enough time to spend at each location. Last but not the least, Also I would like to highlight that our tour guide, Sameer Bey, has a very good command in English and even Arabic. We all know that it is important for every tour guide to be able to communicate well with their tourists and indeed, Sammer Bey exceeded my expectation. Eloquent, Detail Oriented and Passionate is how I will describe him in 3 words.
