Henry is awesome! He made our first visit to Jeju amazing and made the best out of rainy weather. Flexibility is key with a private tour, and Henry did not disappoint. He also made suggestions of local must dos near our hotel, and this was so helpful. When we come back, we will ask for Henry again, and use the same company. I would highly recommend this private tour!

We has a great tour with Nicole who was not only very knowledgeable but fun too. She was able to tailor the tour to our needs and knew about one of the attractions being closed even though the official website and other tourist sites didn't share this information. Nicole was happy to answer my endless stream of questions and regaled us with amusing stories and information about the places we visited. We learned so much more than the information that was on offer. She found us a great spot for lunch and helped my son buy specific snacks that he was looking for at the supermarket. The whole day was relaxing and enjoyable and I highly recommend Nicole as a guide, we will definitely hire her again when we head back to Jeju.

Our Tour Guide, Paul Moon made the tour of East, South, and West Jeju UNESCO sites was simply AMAZING! His knowledge of and travel thru Jeju was 2nd to none! He was funny, engaging, and really made the tour enjoyable. He showed us the best spots for pictures, took pictures FOR us, and really made the trip memorable. I LOVE KDramas, and where applicable, Paul related many of the things for me (e.g. "Our Blues"). He really made us feel like the tour was JUST FOR US!!! I would highly recommend him to anyone wanted to make the most of a visit to Jeju!! Everything was top notch! While others may write about and desire the most perfectly fluent English speaking tour guide . . . a tour guide's use of English via their native Korea accent makes for the most AUTHENTIC of experiences. And we got that with Paul! I can just stay in the United States if I want to hear perfect English! Thank you for making my 60th Birthday a most MEMORABLE event!!

Henry and Jin made sure we are comfortable, and enjoy our trip. They took us to a delicious Korean seafood restaurant serving Korean sashimi and soup. We had good conversation. They are amazing.

Had an excellent experience with Paul, he is extremely knowledgeable and kind. He went out of his way to make our journey pleasant and hassle-free, and the attractions he recommended were on point. Highlights were the Manjanggul Lava Tube and Haenyeo museum, which were really intriguing and gave us a lot of insight into the unique culture of Jeju-do. Would definitely look for Paul again on my next visit!

Ready to explore the farming city I embarked on a journey of solitude and occasional laughs with my tour guide. He seemed to sense my inner needs and gave me space to immerse myself in the different traditional and cultural aspects of Jeju. Paul was intuitively aware of how to explore Jeju and he allowed me to explore it the way I had hoped to explore it. I wanted a guide but I also wanted to fill my heart and soul with its tranquility and essence. That’s exactly what I got!

We would like to express our satisfaction with the tours we had booked with your company on August 13th and 16th. Our guides, Michelle and Andrew, did their best to propose interesting places that could fit with our interests. They skilfully adapted our schedule to take into account what we had already seen or did not want to do (mainly because of the steamy heat). They were both, in their own way, very professional as they managed to combine the necessities of a rigorous timing with a relaxed atmosphere that was convenient to musicians who had had hard days. Lots of people appreciated the information which was given about life and traditions in Korea. These two days will remain an everlasting memory for us all, all the more as many musicians had never been to Asia before. Please give our thanks to these two guides for rich and exciting moments and particularly to Michelle who was so helpful very late at night !

Our family of 20 travelled to Korea from the States and one of our stops was Jeju Island. Despite the rainy season, we had an incredible trip thanks to our tour guide, Michelle! She was funny, engaging and really knew so much about Jeju. You could tell she loved the island and knew so much about it. She was attentive, engaging and really cared for us. She tracked down a bakery that had chocolate cake so we could celebrate my son’s birthday. She made sure our few days on the island were exactly what we were looking for, but she also had recommendations of places we should not have missed. We cannot say enough about Michelle. We will recommend her to all of our friends who travel to Jeju. She was family by the end of our trip. Thank you Michelle!

If you're short on time and/or have specific requests, I'd recommend going with a private tour vs. a group one. I considered renting a car but didn't want to risk getting lost and wasting time. After reading tons of reviews, I decided to book a custom tour with Core Travel. They were pricier than other options but well worth it in hindsight. For the price you get peace of mind and can fully relax and enjoy the sites, trusting your guide will do everything they can to make the day efficient and amazing for you. Since I had only one day, I decided not to go with the typical itinerary and instead was really interested in exploring some of Jeju's unique art museums and galleries. I also wanted to eat some very specific dishes for lunch. They were able to accommodate all my requests plus assign me a female guide, another request since I was a solo female traveller. Michelle - my guide and driver - was fantastic. She was prompt, professional, friendly, very knowledgeable and conversant and told me all about Jeju's amazing history and cultural differences while showing me around the island. She accompanied me every step of the way (including up/down numerous flights of stairs) and made sure I had time at all the spots that were important to me - including running out to bring the car around so I could enjoy as much time as possible and then jump into the car right outside, and also taking care of any queues for ticketing and payment so I could go ahead and get started with the attractions! She also chose a great spot for super fresh Jeju Hairtail sashimi and abalone - 2 must-eats for Jeju - for lunch! (Tip: if there's a specific Jeju dish you want to try instead of standard tourist fare, don't hesitate to let Core Travel know and they can accommodate you!) We covered a lot of ground and she really packed the day in showing me around the various galleries and museums, while also making sure I got to at least see some volcanic formations and caves that Jeju is so famous for. Lastly, after a long - but excellent - day around the island, I absentmindedly left my sunglasses in the van. After dropping me off and discovering this, Michelle graciously drove all the way back to deliver my sunglasses to my hotel! Now that's service and care. 감사합니다 to Michelle (and Core Travel) for a great time and for teaching me so much about Korean and Jeju history and culture! I hope to return to cover the more traditional spots on Jeju with you in the future.

We had the most amazing time exploring Jeju with our very witty and fun guide Andrew. Although we had a rough itinerary planned he went over and beyond to help and arrange to show us the best Jeju had to offer based on our preferences and discussions. There were so many interesting stories amongst all the locations we were taken to. My friends and I had an absolutely unbelievable experience and have memories to remember forever. My friends and I had a wonderful tour of Jeju with our amazing tour guide Andrew! He was so friendly, informative, easy to communicate with and always so efficient and on time. Lily was our tour guide for our group of 13 family and friends. The tour company booked through Viator was very accommodating because we initially had to book to separate tours in order to accommodate our large group. When asked if we could coordinate the 2 separate tours, the tour company provided a large shuttle bus for our entire group. I provided a list of places we wanted to see beforehand and left it up to Lily and the tour company to design our 2 day tour. We all had an awesome time with Lily as our guide. Places we saw: Cheonjiyeon Falls, Yakchusa Temple, Jungman saekdal Beach, Spirited Garden, Jeju Stone Park, Sunrise Peak, Manjuggal Lava Tube. We were a group ranging from ages 25-70 years old and we all had a blast. Lily is well traveled herself and spoke excellent English. She also arranged for us to have lunch at a restaurant specializing in black pork, something the group especially wanted to try. The pork and seafood we ate was delicious We also had a wonderful bulgogi lunch our 2nd day. We all had a great time on Jeju Island thanks to Lily!

I had one day to experience Jeju. I knew where I wanted to go. With their advice and expertise, we organised a tour of places that I could visit, experience and enjoy in the tight timeframe I had available. I would definitely use them again if I ever am lucky enough to go back and experience the rest of Jeju. He was friendly, knowledgeable and good company.

A fabulous day in Jeju Island. Our guide, Billie asked us what we were interested in and took us to such spots- the Manjanggul Cave and the Haenyeo homes were particularly interesting. The pace is relaxing and there was enough time for pictures. We also got suggestions for food and were taken to a great place for dinner.

June is an amazing guide who went above and beyond! She is very knowledgeable about Jeju and clearly loves her job. She is serene, and we all wanted to be her friend. She took us to one of the best meals we’ve had in Korea. We will be back and hope to learn more from June!!!

A superb experience with June who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs for 9 hours! It is more difficult to arrange tours from the South of the island so we were grateful that June was able to collect and drop us off, which meant more time and petrol for her. We were able to personalise our itinerary, choosing to climb Seongsan Ilchulbong (incredible!) and explore the north eastern coastline with the beautiful Woljeongri Beach in the morning. Lunch was wonderful at an excellent, traditional yet relaxed restaurant. June recommended Jeju specialities like the black pig pork and the rock fish which was absolutely delicious. In the afternoon we visited the Manjanggul caves and lava tubes. I would heartily recommend this visit in the hot Summer months as it was so lovely and cool down there. June's English is excellent and she was extremely knowledgeable about everywhere we visited, being able to describe fluently the geographical phenomena to us. My daughter is a huge BTS fan and June recommended a café belonging to Suga's brother which doubles as an art exhibition space so this was both unexpected and very exciting for my daughter and it made our trip extra special. Our day involved a lot of driving and June 's vehicle was spacious, very clean and comfortable. I felt a little nauseous on the return journey as the roads were winding but June happily slowed the vehicle down and ensured I was able to cope well without it being a problem, even though this added extra rime to the journey. We honestly can't thank June enough for such a wonderful day in her company... I actually can't believe how utterly perfect she was in every way. It may be cheaper to book other tours but you can't put a price on complete comfort and personalisation... this is the only way to ensure perfect memories and do things the way you want to do them with all your needs being met continuously. Absolutely wonderful! Thank you, June !

Tour was very nice and tour guide was great. He spoke English very well and allowed us to customize as we needed according to the weather that day. Only reason I did not give 5 rating is that according to the description the tour company is supposed to contact you prior to the tour date. In my case I received no communication until I reached out and only on the day of the tour did we have a chance to discuss activities. would have been nice to discuss prior.

Overall, amazing! June was so sweet and knowledgeable and was willing to take us wherever we wanted to go. She even took us to a local restaurant to Jeju.! Highly recommend!

Our guide, Paul was very informative, kind and devoted to provide us best trip experience!! We will definitely ask for him if we visit Jeju again and I already recommend him to several friends of mine! He made our first Jeju trip very delightful and memorable. We were told by our friends that we need 3days to cover Jeju trip but we only had 2days. Thanks to Paul, it feels like we covered most of famous places in Jeju within 2days. Best tour guide ever!
