The whole experience was wonderful. They briefed us thoroughly, we felt safe. Once in the water, the adrenaline was pumping. And after every rapids we felt thrilled. Tasty food and plenty of beer on our way back with the crew, they were super friendly!!!! Be mindful that you may have to pay in cash.

The tour was very well organized, reflecting the experienced team. All the tour was done in a safely matter, with a support boat and 3-4 kayaks permanently in the water. All the team was great!

Rain poured the entire night before the excursion and I wondered if the tour would go on as planned. Luckily the skies cleared. Nalubale Rafting proved to be a professionally run organization. I have been on many activities with varying degrees of attention to detail and safety. For the small group we still had a safety raft and several skilled kayaks accompanying us. It was impressive the support and training that the leaders took. They carefully fitted our life vests and helmets explaining the necessity of why we wanted to comply. We practiced on small rapids techniques to get back into the boat. As we approached the larger rapids the group was asked if we wanted to follow the most aggressive line or a more moderate one. Refreshments and water was provided halfway through the float and lunch at the end. They had a vegetarian option that was very tasty. Photos were provided via email after the tour. I highly recommend this company.

Great trip! Everything is sorted for you from when you’re picked up to dropped off. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, free drinks on the way back and most importantly an experienced team keeping you safe and making sure you have the best time on the river

We had a more extreme adventure than anticipated. A few of us were experiencing rafting for the first time and hoping for an exciting yet safe experience. The guide was knowledgeable and trained us well in all the commands and skills necessary to navigate the rapids. Although we asked to take the safe/easy routes through the big rapids, we ended up flipping unexpectedly a few times. The rescue crew was quick to help us out, which we were most grateful for, as most of us experienced great panic - including former lifeguards. We were all glad to be back on land at the end of the trip. If you are new to rafting or looking for a mild experience, I would recommend finding a different company to guide you. If you are looking for a more extreme adventure and lots of time in the Nile, these are your people.

What an incredible experience! Nalubale Rafting is extremely professional and organized. They consistently went out of their way to ensure that we were as safe as possible while also having a great deal of fun. They offer options for the grade of rapids you want to tackle, allowing you to make decisions along the way. If you choose a challenging rapid and the raft flips, there's an entire crew of kayakers ready for rescue. Additionally, they provide a thorough safety briefing in case of a flip. Their commitment to safety and enjoyment is commendable.

Super fun probably the best thing I did on my short trip in Kampala once in a lifetime experience! I went solo and was able to go with other solo travelers and had a great time- pictures they give you after were amazing!

I chose Nalubale primarily because they were the only company willing to pick me up (as a solo rafter) from my hotel some 45 minutes from their headquarters. Communication was excellent and they were timely picking me up at 7:45. They provided coffee and offered breakfast which I declined because my hotel provided it. Their headquarters is on the Nile surrounded by wildlife (lots of monkeys and birds). After coffee, we proceeded to drive some 30 minutes (the drive itself was an experience) to the start of our adventure. I was paired with a group of three and despite being the only raft we had another safety raft and three kayakers with us. The experience they provided was amazing and safety was key - lots of instructions were provided as we rafted and we were always told what to expect before we entered a rapid. I've rafted many times elsewhere in the world and the rapids match any others. Same with the service and safety they provided. For some rapids you will have a choice of fun, challenging, and crazy (we always chose crazy which means you have a very good chance of flipping which we did three times). Rapids may be extreme but they are always followed by very still water so flipping is not a concern as swimming is only for a short time period. Perhaps the only downside is that you will need to paddle across the still portions of the river but consider it good exercise and time to take in the scenery (we saw many birds, eagles, lizards, etc). The time on the river was about 3.5 hours. They provided snacks and water during the trip and a burger / beer(s) afterward. They also provided free photos which were amazing quality. I highly recommend Nalubale.

I had the best day on the Nile with Nalubale! The river is gorgeous, the rapids are so much fun, and Nalubale were very professional. Safety was a priority, with a detailed briefing prior, and over an hour of training on small rapids on the water before hitting the grade 5s. At every wave, everyone is given the option of taking the easy route and joining the safety raft if you're not comfortable. The hospitality by Nalubale and at Nile River Camp was great too. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing experience rafting with the Nalubale crew!! It’s was the adventure we were looking for while feeling super safe. It was clear the crew has a lot of experience, making sure you get the best out of your trip while also having a lot of fun themselves. Such a great experience, well planned and organized and so much fun! Besides from the rafting, the camp had the most beautiful view of the nile and there was a lot of monkeys running around while we ate breakfast. I can highly recommend this trip!

Fantastic experience 🤩 It was so fun and the guides were absolutely amazing to make the tour as good as possible for you and make the difficulties so it matches what you are ready for and believe me, it can definitely be wild enough.

Best wild water rafting ever. Nasser and his team made sure that we were taught the safety rules. We had to practice them before we reached the first rapids. Nasser team consisted of 3 kayaks (including photographer), 1 safety raft and 2 experienced rafters in our raft. We were asked to select the level of difficulty, from grade 2 to 5. One of the kayakers was the 5 times champion of the Nile, great guy as well. Had pineapple on the raft, burger after the trip and free flow beer on the way back. All included. Fun ride back through the villages. Lots of Mzumbu calls by the local kids.
