Definitely recommended, not only for history afficionados - the guides are happy to accommodate your needs when it comes to the programme and the level of specificity. Personally I found all the information very interesting and a great start to deepen my knowledge of Viking history. Jonathan is a very skilled guide and can convey a lot of info in an interesting manner, we also had a local guide for Sigtuna - Lena - who gave us a solid and fun overview of the town's past. Both guides answered all of the questions with patience and in detail. Also, the views on the sunny winter day were a marvel. All in all, spent a very pleasant day and learned a lot. This is a fun, interesting, educational and comprehensive tour with very good English commentary. Calle was our guide and he is the best - helpful, polite, professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended if you really wanna know history of the Vikings.

It was one of the best tours I have been on. Only 8 passengers in a van driven by Urban, our guide, who was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting information about each place we visited. We covered so many places, saw and learned so much in one day. It was a really worthwhile tour.

A great day trip out learning about the Vikings and Sweden (past and present). Urban is an absolute gentleman. So friendly and one of the most knowledgeable people I’ve ever met. He is a fountain of knowledge and passes on the knowledge in a way that is engaging and educational. Urban went out of his way to show us as much as he could fit in on one day trip. If I come back to Stockholm I’d actually do the trip again. And finally, he took an interest in what country you were from. As we were Irish, and therefore have a Viking history, he was able to tailor the tour and include bits that would be of extra interest to us.

I can only rave about this tour. Urban was very knowledgeable and had good banter. Made for a very enjoyable day trip. Moreover, as someone with a strong interest in Vikings, I could not have chosen a better way to spend a day in Sweden!

Booked this last minute (<6 hours) and it was no problem. The tour was fantastic- Urban is a very knowledgeable and extremely fun guide. The fika was great. Visits to Sigtuna and other places were extremely fun and informative. If you know your history/science, get ready to see some extremely important figures in world history.

Urban was a wonderful and very knowledgeable tour guide. We saw many interesting things, much of it viking related, but quite a bit of it was not. Overall, very good tour.

It was such a great experience to learn the real cultural history of the Vikings in Sweden and also to learn about the changes in the Swedish monarchy. We got to go into the old church in Uppsala and it was unlike anything I’ve ever seen, it was absolutely beautiful. We also stopped for a fika break in the country side

The guide, Erwin (I may be spelling that wrong) was very knowledgeable of the area’s history and provided info not just on times past, but current times as well. A very informative tour. The van was comfortable, with enough stops to keep it interesting. The fika coffee break was a particularly nice touch.

Urban was easy to communicate with. Punctual pickup. He is a walking history book! My tour was a group of 5 in a very comfortable van. Viking history is fascinating. Fika was at a farm house with a very cute and friendly dog. We had lovely weather so it made the tour even more special. Thank you Urban

Urban was super knowledgeable and pleasant. Nice sites to see along with the drive through the Swedish countryside. It would be nice to have an age suggestion to avoid small children on the tours. Can be uncomfortable in the small van. Very history heavy. I very much enjoyed it. My family had a little harder time than myself understanding. Might be worthwhile to upgrade the ear pieces for more clarity. Overall, recommended for those interested in viking history.
