West Bank day 2. Picked up from the hotel and taken over the new bridge to the west bank. Met up with the guide Abdul again. This time he has purchased tickets for the Ramessuem, the tombs of the Scribes,el Khokha and the temple of Medinet Habu (temple of Rameses lll). The Ramesseum and Habu are so atmospheric when Abdul tells the stories of intrique as well as everyday life. The Scribes tombs were very different as they are much smaller but in very good condition and not so often visited. Another fantastic day.⁰

Amazing amazing amazing tour with our guide Ahmed and our driver Khaled, best in Egypt! Ahmed was very informative at all times, very charismatic and knowledgeable about all the temples and history behind. Is was a great way of condensing both east and west side visits in one day if you’re short of time. For lunch, Ahmed took us to a great restaurant with amazing food (a little bit towards “tourist prices” but very very tasty). Totally recommend!

Hamid was the most friendly and genuine guide. We have booked several extra days with him to explore Luxor. We don’t recommend staying more than 3 days in Luxor :). You might visit some shops where you can probably haggle down 4x the price.

This tour was the highlight of my visit to Egypt. We started the tour early, and were the first ones at the Luxor temple which in itself was a special experience. Special shoutout to Ahmed Omar - he was my guide through this tour and was exceptional in briefing about all the places we visited. He was a pretty great photographer too! Mohammed, the driver was always there with a smile at every pickup and drop. Absolutely loved every bit of my time at the Luxor and Karnak temples, the Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon! Would one hundred percent recommend taking this tour with Omar and Mohammed!

I suppose many people would consider the quality of local guide is crucially important .This was the case in this tour we attended. Our guide Angie was super excellent in many ways - always ready to help but not so intrusive, informative and very very kind. She treated us like her relatives came from far away. Thanks a lot Angie. We really enjoyed this tour especially after experiencing awful tour in Cairo.

Absolutely incredible!! If you book this tour be sure to ask for Mustafa (in English or French!) He was the best guide we had in our time in Egypt. His knowledge of the temples and ability to read hieroglyphics to us directly off the temple walls made the day something we will never forget. We learned so much about ancient and modern Egyptian culture and never felt pressure to make any additional trips or purchases.

We had a great time on this tour. Full day saw all the temples in Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. Our guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. Took a quick boat trip over the Nile and had a nice local buffet lunch. Only thing to understand is that you are going to make 3 shopping stops on the tour. We stopped at an essential oil place, a jewelry place and an alabaster shop. They were interesting but there is pressure to buy stuff! Would have been nice to know this prior to the tour. All in all a great day. Would definitely recommend

Our tour guide, Mustafa, and our driver, Ali, were awesome. Mustafa was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He was very patient with us, answered all our questions, and took tons of great pictures for us. Ali drove safely and was always there to pick us up on time between stops. We would definitely recommend both of them!

We had a great time and learned so much during this tour! We were a group of 4 and were able to ride in a nice Air conditioned car which was a plus!!!! Highly recommend!!! Luxor has so much to offer and there is so much to see & learn!

We went to practically all of Luxor with our guide Omar and he was incredible. Very knowledgeable and truly excited to tell us about all the history of Luxor in the valley of the kings queens temples etc. He was also especially great when we told him about my daughters birthday as he went all out in celebrating it on a nile cruise with excellent food and a cake to sing her happy birthday. He was truly an amazing guide and individual. Thank you Omar for all you did.

Had one of the most amazing tour guides a person can ask for. Reason I say this is because I took a tour with another tour guide and it was nowhere near as thorough and educational and informative as it was with Samir. He truly has a gift and a passion for what he does for a living and it is very evident. I learned more about Egypt in two days than I did in school for 2 semesters. If and when I come back to Luxor I will make sure to ask for him by name. Make sure you tip your tour guides and drivers these guys are amazing. Cheers to the next one

We would highly recommend this tour! Angie of Emo Tours was a joy - very friendly, informative and integrated our feedback of wanting to shop for high quality, local products (jewelry, papyrus, alabaster). Our driver was great too, even had local recommendations. We had a slightly different itinerary based on where our hotel was located, and were one of the first groups at Luxor Temple, which was incredible to see with barely any people. Yummy lunch too. All in all, we had a wonderful day!
