This excursion was a lot of bang for the buck. Duration was 9 hours. Our guide was a pleasant fellow born and raised in Ushuaia and his English skills were good. There were five of us, myself and four others from Buenos Aires. I don't speak much Spanish and they didn't speak much English but we had fun trying to converse. Of course, the guide translated a lot. The trip started with a hotel pickup and a couple of stops for photo ops north of Ushuaia. Then we began the off road part. We descended down dirt switchbacks to Hidden Lake and visited a creepy derelict hotel that was abandoned about 30 years ago. As we made our way around the lake we stopped two more times for photo ops. Then we visited a coffee shop to relax and enjoy the placid environment. The second part of the off road was to Lake Fagnano. We went to a rustic setting where lunch was prepared for us. It was very good and I have to say that meal would have cost at least $75 USD in Ushuaia. A vegetarian option was also available. Wine, coke, and water were the drinks of choice. We stayed there a while, enjoyed the Lakeside solitude and then departed for Ushuaia. We stopped one more time at a nature preserve to watch beavers actively building the largest beaver dam I've ever seen. There was a lot of wildlife throughout the trip. We saw Patagonia foxes and parello birds up close, and the beavers. This excursion was at a very relaxed pace. There was a schedule to keep, of course, but nothing was rushed. I would highly recommend this trip to see some of the beauty Tierra Del Fruego has to offer.

Ushuaia has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I walked to another hotel to wait on a 4x4 adventure and the mountains were breathtaking. We drove east into the mountains and then north. We drove through the Bombillo forest. We were on a typical tourist route when we were on hardtop. No one followed off road. Our driver and guide, Mauricio, loves his job. He says he goes on vacation everyday. I spent the day as the only english speaker. Maricio spoke a little. It was a fun trying to learn about one another with Spanglish. I also listened to their conversations via google translate until we lost cell coverage. My travel partners were from Cordova, Argentina, two from Uruguay and two from La Plata. One was a nurse, one retired, one worked as a domestic in a school, one was a factory worker, and another was a ship's captain. We stopped and entered an abandoned house. Anyone up until 20 years ago could bid for a 10 year lease on the property from the government. They shut it down because the septic system was leaking into the lake(seems like they could have fixed that). The scenery around the home would never get tiring. We stopped for a coffee in a community of Escondido. They were roasting a pig. We stopped for an extended period of time at a semi-primitive camp. We ate sausage sandwiches, salad, some steak and a dulce de leche and nectarine dessert. Mauricio went above and beyond. We were treated to carancho (like an eagle), a red fox, and a hawk enjoying our leftover food. The lakes we saw were Hidden lake and Fagnano. The wind blowing off the lake was freezing. On the way back we stopped at a few more scenic spots. We went on a short hike above a beaver pond and watched them swim a little. It was an experience I will remember fondly forever.

Great day, lots of fun. Ramon was great. Of note, there are exactly six seats and all may be occupied, so, don’t take anything you don’t need.

Gonzalo was my guide for this (and a couple other Info de Ushuaia tours). He was excellent and the reason I used this company for several tours with this company during my week in Ushuaia. Riding in an SUV/4x4 over rough tracks, bouncing through puddles and creeks while also listening to Info about the area, what we were seeing, and an excellent lunch. It was a great day.

We enjoyed our day with Freddie, good experience, bbq lunch, and conversation. Enjoyed seeing the inner peninsula and the country side of Ushuaia. Freddie provided good stories and details of Ushuaia.

From start to finish, this was an amazing day -- largely due to our friendly, fun guide Fede! He helped with group photos, told great, informative stories and kept us entertained all day long.

This was a beautiful day trip. Our tour guide, Federico, was fantastic. The scenery can’t be beat and lunch was excellent.

Freddie our host was fantastic! Full of information and laughs. Weather wasn’t the best, but still good enough to be amazed by the country. Great lunch with plenty of wine, so all in all a memorable day.

For motor heads like me just perfect! Lakes were nice, all the nature, food was delisious, driver little crazy and absolutely fabulous!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Lago (Lake) Escondido and Lago Fagnano. This was our second visit to Ushuaia and we had already seen alot; we wanted a new and unique experience and this tour did not disappoint. Our guide and driver, Frede, was welcoming and informative, telling us much about the area and the sights we were seeing; the dazzling scenery, the wildlife, the geography, the geology, and the people, from pre-history to the present. Lunch was served toward the end of the tour and it was excellent. Sometimes adversity brings greatness to an even higher level. My wife, Tammy, took a step too far at the top of a 10-meter slope and slid down the steep gravelly dirt, incurring several bruises and scrapes. Frede not only insisted on driving us to a hospital in Ushuaia to ensure her injuries were not serious, he stayed with us until that was confirmed. If we could rate the tour at SIX stars, we would! A really fun, bumpy and speedy journey to the lakes. A lovely lunch next to Lake Cami and got to see some great wildlife on the way.

Amazing and authentic experience! Ramon, Ariel and Charlie made sure we had a great experience in Ushuaia. The guides have a great energy and one can tell they really enjoy being there! Who wouldn’t enjoy driving like in a Dakar race? They told us about the nature here in Ushuaia and answered all of our questions, even personal questions about living here. On top of that they cooked for us a traditional bife de chorizo by the side of the lake. One of the guides even brought local chocolate to share with us.

Excelente experiencia, el guía Gonzalo un capo, nos explicó todo a cerca de los lugares que visitamos. El paseo off road super divertido, con camionetas muy cómodas y preparadas. El almuerzo un verdadero manjar.

Excelente atención por parte de los Guias, instalaciones y recorrido. Totalmente recomendable! La capacitación del personal y la atención sobre los que hicimos la excursion fue inigualable.

Sin duda alguna el mejor tour que deber hacer en Ushuaia! Conoces los lagos escondido y Fagnano, te adentran en la aventura 4x4. Un almuerzo exquisito a la orilla de un exuberante lago. El mejor guía y cocinero: Guille!

Excelente trato tanto en el mostrador por las chicas que son muy amables con en las excursiones. Destaco la atención NICOLE, quien se tomó el tiempo necesario para explicarnos en qué consistía cada paseo, nos dió recomendaciones y sugerencias y al día siguiente volvimos para comprar. La excursión Lago escondido y Fagnano 4x4 es IMPERDIBLE Condujo durante todo el trayecto RAMON, que nos explicó muchísimos detalles y datos que no cococíamos. También tuvo paciencia en todo el recorrido y la cuota necesaria de alegría y buen humor !!! Nos contó la historia de Guillermo El Oso y su actuación junto a Leonardo Di Caprio (si quieren saber más podrán enterarse en el trayecto :) Al llegar a la cabaña todo el equipo preparó el lugar mientras caminábamos y sacábamos fotos. Las vistas son hermosas, la belleza del lugar es inconmesurable. Después vino la picada con un asado riquísimo (hay opciones vegetarianas) Compartimos un hermoso día, tanto que todos nos quedamos con las ganas de volver. Gracias a todos los miembros de INFO de USHUAIA que hacen posible que los visitantes conozcamos su tierra a través de sus relatos y sus paseos. GRACIAS!!!

Que hermosos lugares!!! Gracias a la linda gente de Canoero, navegamos por el Canal Beagle en dónde visitamos la isla de los lobos marinos y nos acercamos al faro del fin del mundo. Sebastián nos ofreció su grata compañía y nos guió hacia el Parque Nac fueguino y paseo por el tren. Y por último con Ramón realizamos la excursión del paseo por el lago Escondido en una 4 ×4, experiencia única! Muy agradecidos con Info Ushuaia!!!!
