Loved this tour! They call it the "green tour" and we visited so many beautiful places. The Selime Monastery and Kaymakli underground city were two of my favorite sites in the area, we got to explore both of them on this tour. I also liked the viewpoints we went to, and the walk along the river in Ihlara Valley. Our guide Ferman was friendly and knowledgeable, I highly recommend him if you have a choice. He gave information about each location and seemed to cater to the group's interests, and he answered all of our group's questions. He even shifted around the order of the sites to help us visit at less busy times. Really a fantastic tour guide :)

Great trip around cappadocia. This tour had everything- great views, great history, the most scenic valley (imo), with the best guide. Ferman was very friendly and knowledgeable, giving us a great last day on our trip.

My friend and I went on the Green Tour on Saturday 9th September 2023. This tour includes the Underground city which is incredible. There is a lot of walking on this tour so be prepared but it's worth every step of the way to see the amazing sights. Our tour guide Mehmet is a fountain of knowledge and made our day. He takes the time to learn all the names and where everyone came from and remembered every single person through the whole day. He is so entertaining. I will hopefully return to Cappadocia next year and will definitely book tours through Gate of Cappadocia travel. Thank you so much for the best day. I highly recommend x

Our guide Ferman and his driver made it a very enjoyable day. Ferman is very knowledgeable with good interpersonal skills.

(I think this is the tour we did - it was called the “Green Tour”). The tour was awesome. Ferman was welcoming, knowledgeable, fun, and always open to questions. He gave thorough explanations of the sites and also gave us time to explore on our own. I think he even took us to an extra stop (the Turkish delights place). The places we explored were unique and beautiful and lunch was tasty. The one thing I felt we maybe could have skipped was the jewelry shop, in which the workers really tried to sell you jewelry (although the jewelry was pretty). Thank you to Ferman and our driver! Ferome was an excellent guide who ensured we didn't miss anything. It was a very full day, travelling to so many sites. Every detail was explained and we saw the underground city, where around 30,000 Christians lived hiding from their enemies. The Pigeon Valley, where God blessed the end of the day and view with a brilliant rainbow in place of the rain. Lunch was at a beautiful restaurant set along a river. Great tour. Really enjoyed it.

The most amazing guided tour of Turkey. We did the green tour with them.Special appreciation for Mehmet our guide who was knowledgeable and had an amazing connection with whole tour. He took care of us and did not herd us around. The lunch was fantastic, vegetarian, flavourful and fresh. The vehicle was clean and good. Loved every but of it. The pistops were clean and fun. Did some shopping of Turkish delights and Crystals. our guide made the tour so much fun.

Great trip lovely places to see .fabulous lunch .we did the green Trip Loads of history and a brilliant guide Serkin . He made our tour very enjoyable an left us with very happy memories . This weekend my friend and I spent the day on the Green Tour with our amazing guide Ferman! The tour was the perfect balance of local history and natural beauty. We got to see so many places during the full day, but we never felt rushed. Our guide Ferman was extremely knowledgeable and gave us so many facts without overloading us with information. This area is one of a kind and this tour is a must see! I will recommend it to my friends and family!

Underground city was really amazing. Visiting sites important for early Christianity is also extraordinary. Ferman presented these sites and in general history of Turkey in best view. All the recommendations.

We were a small group lead by the tour guide, around 6 of us. However, time was still quite packed and rushed. We did not have much time to take photos at certain attraction points which was very regretful as we would not be back there anymore. Guide gave us a lot of time to stop at shops/places where tourists would have to spend money but however not at the main attraction points, like at the ihlara valley, where more time should be allocated there. Time at a certain location was also decided by the guide, like after he was done with his smoke break, we would have to head off to the next location. Quite disappointing with such a small pax yet felt rushed and not personalized unlike the description stated.

I went on a Green Tour at the beginning of November and I absolutely liked it. I loved the spectacular views and the underground city (Derinkuyu, not Kaymakli) was very impressive. Our group was vey lucky with the guide Ferman and the driver Mustafa. Ferman is very positive, he knows a lot about history and he took care of everyone. Each time he reminded of low ceilings or steep steps and he took special care about an elderly lady who practically didn't speak English. On the way home Ferman and Mustafa turned our bus into a party bus with Turkish music. Thanks to these guys and our wonderful international group I will remember the day of the tour as a very happy one.

Mehmet our guide and Mehmet our driver were both superb. Excellent driving in narrow mountain roads and always willing to stop for a photo. Our guide was always caring about folks that may not be able to handle certain sites - e g. I am 1.93m and the Underground city was challenging. Also, Mehmet was very knowledgeable about history and informative about local culture. He made it an exciting tour day.

Awesome day trip with Guide Ferman and driver Mehmet (sp?). They planned the route to beat the crowds and the guide was very knowledgeable. This was one of the highlights of the trip - just be prepared to do some walking!

Wow! Honestly one of the best tours I have ever been on because normally after a few hours I am bored, and looking to escape. Our tour guide Mehmet was SUPERB. His enthusiasm, knowledge, but also reading the group energy and planning our visits to coincide with the least crowds was exceptional. The itinerary was nicely balanced too and had a nice rhythm. We thoroughly enjoyed our day. Kappadokya is so rich in history, I was fully engaged! Selime Monastery was a highlight for me, and Mehmet was a highlight for my friend! To top it off, Mehmet also kindly arranged a taxi to collect us and get us to the airport in time for our flight, which just goes to show the lengths he will go to. My only regret is how short our trip was, but will not forget Kappadokya in a hurry!

AMAZING tour, I highly recommend this, mostly because of the incredible guide. I had such a fun day and learned so much as well. Plus, we had a very international group which was a pleasure to spend 8 hours with. Cannot recommend this enough, a must-do if you have a full day in Cappadocia.
