Excellent tour! Our guide was wonderful. Thoughtful, professional and highly knowledgeable about Sonargaon and Bangladesh culture and history in general. Panam is an evocative place, would have been a sight to behold in its glory days. Packed a lot of sites into the tour, but all was well planned and delivered. Was nice to get out of Dhaka for a slower pace and to appreciate Bangladesh’s countryside. Our tour driver was patient, friendly and an expert navigator of very busy traffic.

Rabbi was great! Not only was he knowledgeable, but he was also very kind and hospitable. Cool tour to see the outskirts of Dhaka. I had a great time!

Wonderful tour and delightful day with a great guide, Shahoriar Rabibi. He was not only super friendly, knowledgable, but he and our driver ended up chatting and have a nice day and lunch. The Sonargaon and Island Trip is quite beautiful and the old Capital and the history behind it is excellent. While I booked this tour through Viator, it was provided by Taabu Tours of Bangladesh and as I enjoyed it so much I booked a second, different day trip through them on a different topic. This tour and their company are well worth exploring! I enjoyed it a lot and learned a great deal.

This tour was very nice with lots of interesting sites. The Village Island visit was very enlightening. Sonargaon and the old Capital were particularly interest to me as a retired history teacher. My tour guide was fantastic with lots of information to share about all of the sites we visited. Add in her wonderful personality and it was a great day with an authentic meal to top it all off.

We enjoyed walking through Panam city and especially loved how our guide made sure we were able to try many different foods and fruits. We learned a lot about the culture of Bangladesh and its history.

We had Shahoria on this tour, really loved seeing Sonaragaon- a must - and an enjoyable boat ride. Shahoria and the driver were very professional and ensured we had a great experience. The car was very comfortable and lunch was also delicious. Recommended for any stay in Bangladesh. Thank you!

We went with our guide Jafar to the Old capital and Sonargaon, wonderful place to visit. Then to island and we were lucky to actually chat in the school with the kids and principal. The houses are so beautiful and feels full with weird huge cucumbers :). We saw nice fresh catch (huge river fishes) and so many other things. Great day. Jafar took us to the brick factory, such a hard work. He is very efficient young man to try to make the life of the kids (of the parents working in the factory) better & get good education. Applause to him & his team.

My tour guide Jafar was great. He spoke English very well and I understood every word. I had many questions about Bangladesh and Islam and he answered all of them. Very nice guy and if I come back for more tours I will try to get him. The flow of the tour was smooth and all stops very interesting. I liked the local lunch spot he chose and he knew his way around with no hiccups. The driver Mr. Nasir was also excellent and we toured in his personal Toyota car.

I had one spare day in Dhaka. So i wanted to see some historical places and rural Bangladesh. And I talked to Taabu day before my travel date. They were very helpful and arranged exactly the trip i wanted to do. My guide Jafar was very friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this tour.

It was a great day in Old capital of Bangladesh. The boat trip to a river island and visiting a manual brick factory was a bonus. My guide Jafar was very informative and keen to help. He even helped me arranging some train tickets. This tour with Jafar is definitely recommended.

We had a super tour with Jafar, seeing Sonargaon, Panam and a fishing village that we got to via the Meghna river. The guide was really friendly and informative, and was happy to answer all our questions about the sites and about culture / life in Bangladesh, and offered to stop at extra places if we were interested. The tour was brilliantly started before Dhaka's busy traffic starts and we reached Sonargaon in an hour. I've visited all the archaeological sites in Sonargaon district. And also went to a panoramic river island. my guide was very informative and full of fun. I enjoyed the entire day.

Had a wonderful time walking down the historic high street in panam city, visiting a restored merchant home at the folk art museum and a short boat trip to an island village on the meghana river with our friendly guide Jaffer!
