The best tour going to rainbow mountain. Early pick up but first ones there. Beat the masses of tourists and included red valley which was stunning and peaceful. Guide (Bernie) was brilliant and very knowledgable. Good lunch at nice spot on the way home and comfy bus. Best way to do it!

I booked a day tour to Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) with Flashpacker Connect and it was an amazing trip. My guide for the day was Beker and he made this trip a really memorable experience. We arrived at the mountain, stayed for a bit, and then walked on the side of the mountain to take a peek into the Red Valley. All of the views are out of this world, and we were able to enjoy them before other tours started arriving. We were among the first to arrive at the mountain. Throughout the hike Beker shared lots of interesting information about the site and Peruvian culture in general. He also took lots of awesome pictures for me. One thing I really appreciate about this tour is that, even though the trek is tough if you are not used to hike at altitude, I always felt safe. Beker walked at my pace and was constantly checking on me. They also carry coca leaves and oxygen in case you need them. A shoutout to Fidel who drove us there and back safely and was also fun to hang out with. On the way back, we stopped at a designated location to have lunch. They offered us many local dishes which were all delicious. A perfect way to conclude a trip I will never forget!

For our annual trip this year we decided to go to Peru. Prior to going we knew we wanted to hike Machu Picchu & Rainbow Mountain. We reached out to a few tour groups and decided to go with FlashpackerConnect, and they did not disappoint. They helped us organize the two-day Machu Picchu trip from Cusco and the one day Rainbow Mountain hike. The team was very responsive, kept us in the loop, and everything was planned out perfectly. Baker (our incredible tour guide) met us at 3am in our hotel lobby. "Today we will be going on a 3 hour drive and then we will be at rainbow mountain. Get comfortable and have a nap." said Baker. Rainbow mountain was wonderful, and so was Baker. When we got to the base of the mountain Baker handed us some breakfast and we headed off on our hike. it was a short hike with a wonderful destination. Baker knew exactly what we wanted. We took pictures and had a few laughs. Then Baker asked if we wanted to do more hiking."Of Course!". We took off and hiked to a lookout spot over Red Valley. so epic. After the hike we had a private lunch prepared by a local chef. The food was soooooo gooooood! After Lunch we haded back to Cusco. It is difficult to explain, but the trip was great and Baker was the perfect guide. We saw so many beautiful places, eat wonderful food and had a guide (Baker) that had such a great vibe. 10 out of 10 would recommend! ,

This tour is amazing. We were picked up at a very early hour (2:30am) but it was worth it. We were the first group in the parking lot and one of a handful of people at the top. The trek is difficult because of the altitude, but well worth it. Roswell was an amazing tour guide - so knowledgeable and so understanding when we needed breaks. He’s pretty good with a camera too!

We relied on Flash Pakcers for our tour to the rainbow Mountain and valle rojo and we are really happy of our choice. Fidel, the driver, has safely taken us through difficult mountain roads with our little van, it is 3 hours drive from Cuzco, you don't get to rainbow Mountain just by foot! Ricardo, our guide, has helped us to reach our uneasy goal, providing useful explanation along the way and helping us to find our own pace, which is really important. Finally Mario, the private chef of the company cooked for us (a lot of) good food on our way back to Cusco. Last but not least, leaving at 3:00 am from Cuzco we were the first ones on the mountain, and we enjoined the amazing place only for us for a while before more people arrived. I strongly recommend to rely on their services and ask for these magic guys!

This man is a Pokémon the way Geo is the dude. True Cusco OG. You better wear your Skechers because you’re gonna be running up Rainbow Mountain trying to catch up. The man takes better pics than Lifetouch in middle school. The only tea hotter than what he’ll pour for you in the morning are the stories you’ll have from this crazy trek and this above par guide.

Super experience at the rainbow mountain with Gerardo and Giovanni! The guide was always there to help us getting up the mountain and leading us through the magnificent landscapes, he always available to take great pictures all along the way.

DO NOT MISS THIS if you are going to Cusco. We absolutely loved our trek to rainbow mountain! Our guide Jacob was the best!!! So kind, fun, knowledgeable, and really looked out for us. He also doubled as an amazing photographer as well!! We are moderate hikers and this was a challenge due to the lack of oxygen, but the view at the top is incredible and makes the hike more than worth it! We took many breaks on the way up to catch our breath, which is half the fun to stop and look because there is more than just rainbow mountain to see on this hike. You recover your breath really quickly I might add for anyone who is nervous. Just go slow and take a break when you need to. The surrounding mountain landscapes are stunning and other-worldly! Flashpacker wasn’t lying when they said we would be the first ones to the top. We were, and it was a special moment to be up there alone before all the crowds. Plus the pictures without a bunch of people are always a plus! The people were starting to roll in on our trek back to the car. The included breakfast and lunch were both delicious! We are so glad we did this, it has been a highlight of our trip and I would highly recommend it to everyone I know. Book it!!

My partner and I had the best experience with Flashpacker and their teams. Our morning started very early to beat the crowds which is 100% worth it. Our driver, David, kept us very comfortable with warm blankets for the drive to the trail base. Our guide, Rosbel, made sure we were as prepared as could be and clearly communicated what the experience was going to look like. The trail is tiring considering the altitude but I felt very supported the entire way, even being the slowest of the group. 😊 The views are worth every second, Rosbel’s knowledge on the area was great to learn and seeing the Red Valley was an additional bonus to Rainbow Mountain. The lunch included catered to our Plant Based dietary needs (beyond expectations) as well as the others in our group. I’m still learning Spanish so I really appreciate the guides English skills. Amazing experience, with the guides Guide Ricardo and Fredy they were very careful and told us how to deal with the altitude, we had lot of breaks during the hike, and breathing exercises . The Chef Mario cooked an amazing meal for us this was delicious. Driver marcelino drove safely, in this narrow road. I felt safe and enjoyed every step! Thank you so much definitely worth it.

This tour was amazing and our guides Ricardo and Fredy were fantastic. I wouldn’t have made it up without them! We were collected at 3am and it was so worth it in the end because we had the entire mountain to ourselves and it was breathtaking. After we enjoyed an incredible home cooked Peruvian meal by chef Mario. Couldn’t recommend this trip enough - so professional from start to finish and well worth it.

This was the best experience of hiking I have ever had. We started very early in the morning but it was worth beating the crowds. The actual hike was an easy terrain, the only actual hard part was the altitude. Our guide Joaquin was amazing though. He let us go at our own pace and had an oxygen tank ready whenever we needed it. He was very helpful throughout the hike. The view from the top was spectacular and unimaginable. Would recommend if you come to Cusco!

My fiancee and I used flashpacker for a 1-day hike in Peru's rainbow mountain. It was truly a spectacular trip and a fun hike. Jan was an amazing guide and we would not have wanted to do it without him. There was seamless coordination through Whatapp and email. The three of us were the first to arrive by car and the first group on the hike that morning (Yes they pick you up at 230am which is god early, but flashpacker had a comfortable sprinter with recliners and blankets). We entirely beat the crowd and hiked with the sunrise. Jan had breakfast, coffee/tea, and treats for us, as well as a spectacular lunch with a local family about 1.5 hours away. 10/10 experience. I just want to emphasize Flashpacker only does small group tours and my fiancee and I were the ONLY two on this trip. When we finished and were hiking down Rainbow mountain we saw the hordes of people hiking up - dozens of tours of 10-20 people - many often struggling or limping to no avail. Their experience looked terrible, and they were going to attempt summit well after 9am with hundreds of people already at the top... This also explains why these other companies charge $40-75/person. It's a once in a lifetime experience - very simple choice to go with Flashpacker.

This was an amazing trip. Ricardo was our guide and David was our driver and I could not have asked for a better team. He took the time to ensure we were hiking the altitudes safely and getting the most out of our day. The wake up call was early but being at the top early was a definite payoff. That view was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Navigating back towards Cusco we stopped for lunch and the food was incredible. We even got to play a local game, which Ricardo won hands down. It was an amazing day and definitely a highlight of the entire trip.

Flashpacker thought of everything. Early pick up for first on the mountain. Provided breakfast and teas before the hike. Stayed with us during the strenuous hike and offered oxygen when needed. Rainbow mountain was spectacular. Our guides Joaquin and Rodrigo were very knowledgeable and helpful. The driver Mario was safe and nice. We later stopped at a Flashpacker house for a freshly prepared buffet lunch that was delicious. The trip was well worth the struggle to climb the mountain. I would highly recommended this guide service.

Very punctual, attentive, kind and informative team. Joaquin was an excellent guide and had a a great deal of patience with me as I struggled with the altitude. He provided me with oxygen and stopped as many times as I needed to catch my breath. The Rainbow mountain experience was amazing. Joaquin took our many pictures and showed us a really good time culminating with a delicious home cooked lunch.
