Omar was such a fun and knowledgeable guide. I did not like the price of lunch at all ….was not expecting to pay $60 for one person and a tip on top of that , plus the meal was not that great, too expensive for what we got. 90% of the time was excellent

Daniel our tour guid made the tour exceptional. The information we received about Puerto Vallarta and Mexico was delivered in an informative and entertaining way. Couldn't have asked for anything better! I personally had a wonderful time on the city funtastic tour of Puerto Vallarta . The van was very comfortable. We visited the town of Puerto Vallarta. Daniel recommended restaurants and other things to come back and do on our own. We visited local stores for demonstrations and shopping: Candy store was a delicious place Gold and silver jewelry making was very interesting. My husband surprised me with a gorgeous ring for our anniversary Leather production. We went to a tequila making factory and presentation and sampled many flavors. All were amazing so were the staff. Ended up with a few bottles which we’ll take back home as souvenir. Animal sanctuary and meal overlooking a river. I would have loved to spend more time with the animals though. Food was great, and the prices were very reasonable. There was limited time for shopping at other places which was not part of the tour. But I got a great feel for the town and what we could do when we return on our own. What a fun day!

My friend and I had an Absolutely Amazing Sightseeing Tour of Puerto Vallarta. I have been coming to PV for over 36* years, but my friend had never been here. She thoroughly enjoyed herself and got to see PV in a whole different perspective from just being on the resort premises. And our tour guide were very thorough and friendly and informative. A great time was had by us both. 👍🏾👍🏾

Through Delta vacations at our resort, we decided to a 4 hour guided tour. The price was $30 each. We stopped at 2 other resorts to pick up more people, 12 all together. First stop was a leather goods shop. Very cool. Took us in the workshop and we seen first hand how a pair of Hirachi shoes were made. Handbags, belts, wallets were available for purchase. They even offered a discount. Next we went to a ceramic tile shop where they paint anything from bowls, vases, tiles, etc. I purchased six 4x4” hand painted tiles for only one dollar each! Beautiful! Next we stopped at the iconic church, Lady of Guadalupe. So beautiful! Nobel Tequila was the next stop!! Sat through about 1/2 hour presentation of how they make tequila, of course sample shots included!! We stopped at a jewelry store that had a lot of opal designs. Very pretty but out of my price range. Malecon Boardwalk was next. The area is safe, beautiful, shops, restaurants. The tour ended with a wonderful lunch through the jungle side!! Open air, fresh made on the grill. This was an additional charge. We had the chicken and beef fajitas, with a beer each, came to about $75. Was a really cool place, food was great! The tour is well worth the time considering that these places are not something you would discover on your own. Also having the safety of a guide, and a driver. Thumbs up!!👍👍👍

We thought it was going to be a walking tour of the town. And a proper tour of how they make tequila. So not that impressed. Lunch was amazing and we'll organized. Our tour guide was very informative and friendly. Bus drive was great.

They got two stars because the guide was knowledgeable and the tour was provided free from our resort and they picked us up there. We did not spent anytime at the oceanfront/Malecon (which I was hoping), and had only 20 minutes to view the church. Instead we were taken to overpriced shops (chocolate tasting, jewelry store, leather shop, coffee shop with people attempting to sell their expensive items). I would have rather have had an opportunity to shop at the local stores. I did buy a billfold at the leather shop because he came down to a good price, but he didn’t want my credit card, but I told him no cash! We headed into the mountains to the tequila factory, which turned out to be a tasting. We were told lunch on our own, but there was only one place to eat with just 3 selections. Told each couple would eat the selected meal and the price quoted was half, so ours came to $79. Not what I usually pay for lunch! When I sign up for a tour, I expect more scenic picturesque locations, and decent length of time taking photos and learning about each important landmark, instead of a clear ploy to tourist trap. By far my biggest gripe was the van. It was an extremely bumpy ride on the cobblestones and uneven roads, uncomfortable sears and hard to see out windows. Buyer beware, and if you're hoping for a scenic tour prepare to be disappointed!

This was a great overview. Gustavo, our guide gave us ample time to see and shop. The lunch location was good. The food great!

Tour guide was very knowledgeable. The price was phenomenal for what you get. Definitely will use Viator for future travel adventures.

Excellent day trip- only regret is that we did not spend enough time in town. I would’ve rather had 20 more minutes there and eliminated one of the other stops.

I will say this. The tequila shop tour and tasting ensured an extra star to this review, plus the fact that they pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. Barely spent anytime at the oceanfront/Malecon (which I was hoping), and quickly found myself in overpriced shops (chocolate tasting, jewelry store, leather shop, coffee shop with people attempting to sell expensive carpets). When I sign up for a tour, I expect more scenic picturesque locations, and decent length of time taking photos and learning about each important landmark, instead of a clear ploy to tourist trap. By far my biggest gripe was an uncomfortable ride in the van. I'm 6'3 and found myself severely squished, not to mention an extremely bumpy ride on the cobblestones and uneven roads. A warning for those who get carsick or suffering a hangover, this is not a tour you want to try. All in all it was only $29 CAD and I didn't spend on anything else. Buyer beware, and if you're hoping for a scenic tour prepare to be severely disappointed. Would recommend people just taking an uber to downtown or the Malecon and exploring that way.

This was a great tour....Michael was our tour guide and he was terrific. We enjoyed the various stops and the drive. The tour of the small tequila distillery was fun. The tour was well organized and moved along at a good pace. Raul and Miquel, who were the west jet reps at the resort were very helpful

Ramon was excellent and we have no complaints about him. The city tour took 10 hours from pickup time to drop off. Way too long!!! The very long drive to the “ranch” to order an over priced meal while we tasted 4 types of tequila was a cash cow for the vendor. It was long with no alternative activity or other place to eat. By the time we drive back to the city and were dropped off we’d been on the tour 10 hours. The Malicon, Our Lady of Guadalope and seeing a few other vendors was too short and the ridiculously long, winding trip to the tequila vendor wrecked the trip. We’ve been on many tours - this was the worst. It wasn’t Romon, it was the ridiculous drive to the ranch! We finally got transferred from the bus to a smaller van when the drop off procedure was disorganized and very long. Poor planning!

The Tour Guide let people wander all over, at every stop we waited 10 to 15 minutes for everyone get back. At the last stop some of us chose not to get off. When we Realized the time, we told the bus driver the ship sailed at 430 argued that we had till 530. We had a schedule to prove we were right. The tour guide still didn't hurry people up. We made it back with 5 minutes to spare. He was very rude when we disembarked because w didn't leave him a tip. Stay away from Gray Line. He covered up his name tag so we couldn't report him

We started the day off meeting with our awesome tour guides Jesus and Carlos, they were very informative, a lot of fun with a great sense of humor. Our first stop was at a chocolate making factory and got to sample some chocolate and tea. Then we did a tour of downtown Puerto Vallarta and saw the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and walked through some of the markets, could have done more markets to shop as there weren't much options for that. We enjoyed the views along the Malecon boardwalk. Next 2 stops were at a silver making factory and leather making factory. Then we took about a 20 minute drive up to Cafe Hacienda Maria Bonita and got to taste some delicious organic coffee. We finished our tour at Don Chendo Destilado De Tequila where Julio filled our glasses with yummy tequila and gave us giggles and memories we will hold onto. This tour was the highlight of our trip and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable tour to see some of Puerto Vallarta!!

Wr had a full and highly enjoyable day. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we had a lot of fun. The only negative was that we were moved from our comfortable bus onto a 12 passenger vehicle- there were 12 of us. We had to sit in the back which was very cramped and uncomfortable.

I brought my mom on this day trip and we both really enjoyed it. The mix of city and jungle was good to get an idea of what PV is about. It’s a good way to spend a day acquainting yourself with the area so you can decide where you want to come back to, etc. We could have certainly meandered more downtown, but to fit everything in, I see why there’s a tighter schedule. Certainly recommend this day trip if it’s your first time to PV.
