We really enjoyed our tour! We were promptly picked up at our hotel and taken to the boat. Once we arrived we asked if we could change the itinerary at the last minute and they graciously accommodated us. The boat was comfortable, clean and well maintained. The captain and first mate provided top notch service. We enjoyed Tobago, swimming, fishing and seeing lots of wildlife. We finished our tour with a great view of Panama City. Highly recommend Gem Charters!

This was a great find! We decided to book this at the last minute and they responded right away and accommodated our group. The boat was clean and comfy and we all fit in it comfortably. Our captain and all of the crew was awesome and took great care of us. They cooked the barbecue for us and it was delicious. We couldn't get enough. The floating pool was everything. It was the perfect day and everyone in the company was very professional, friendly and took wonderful care of us. I will pass along their info to everyone I know.

The entire experience was wonderful from booking to return to our hotel. Eddie worked with me to design a great charter for the day for our party of 9 and helped arrange transportation to and from our hotel as well. Miguel and Oscar, the crew, could not have been more accommodating, fun, and caring. We left the dock at 6am on our 47 foot Viking. The air conditioning was already on inside for those in our party that were not the most excited boat people. By 6:30 after a quick harbor cruise we had lines in the water and proceeded to catch 13 fish over the next three hours. Our crew knew what they were doing and helped many of our kids feel like accomplished mariners. We then went to Tobago Island for snorkeling and the beach. It was here that the crew made us some ceviche to go with the cold drinks they had packed on board for us. Before the day ended and we left back for the dock, Miguel allowed us to wake Board “Panama” style being pulled behind the boat with ropes and boogie boards. It was so much fun for the kids and such a nice touch making the experience even more fun. I’ve been able to go on many fishing charters and snorkeling adventures separately but this was the first time that I was able to combine both together with the family. And the crew made it memorable and awesome. I highly recommend the GEM Charter crew in Panama to you - especially if Miguel and Oscar are on board.

What an amazing trip! Miguel was an excellent guide and showed us a great time. He was able to put up with my old grandparents AND stubborn cousin who all he wanted to do was fish. Miguel is great at connecting with everyone on the boat. Highly recommend the tour and Miguel as a driver/guide. Best place in Panama City.

Wonderful funfilled day with friends and with Captain Miguel. An attentive and safe captain who made sure we were enoying our day on the water and during our time spent on Taboga Island. Informative about the fish, the canal and Taboga itself. Highly recommend for families and groups of friends.

My wife and I travel outside of the US often to experience the different cultures, food, and also have a little fun! One of the activities I try to slip into the agenda when she allows me too is fishing. It was easier with this full day charter because it also involved a little stop off at Taboga island, which is always good to get to see places like that when you can. The trip did not start off well....... but that was my fault. Had a little dental issue that forced me to change the original day of the trip to the following day, but GEM was able to accommodate us! We arrived at the dock little before the departure time of 6AM (Get out there to fish early!). For those who have not been to Panama, they have a major tide movement in and out of 18 feet or so. Very important to know which marinas you can get in and out of depending on the tides. Miguel was our captain/ tour guide/ Friend for the day. Great personality and was willing to talk us "Newbies" through how the canal system worked and answer a lot of questions from us. We went on the 27' proline boat that accommodated us well, it was a smooth ride and enjoyed the fishing with some Jacks and Bonitas caught. Taboga is a cute little island and the little restaurant there was Delicious, get the Ceviche for sure!! Thanks GEM and thanks Miguel for the great time!

My family and I decided to book a fishing day trip to Taboga island, we were 3 adults and a 8 months baby. We were a bit concern because it was the first time for the baby to be on a boat. The whole crew made us feel super safe and took all our worries away, they really are expert not only in fishing but in security and in safety. Not only we were able to catch a Mahi Mahi, but on the way back we had the pleasure to see a family of whales! Definitely a one una a life time experience. I strongly recommend Gem charter for any type of trip and specially with kids. We will be sure to come back!

We celebrated a friend bday party, it was super fun, we had a very nice and safe trip!!!! Can't wait to do it all over again!

Me and a group of girls celebrated my BFF 30's with GEM CHARTERS ITS WAS THR BEST WAY TO SAY GOOD BYE TO HER 20'S. It Was I great trip, amazing services, and everything was on point. The day was perfect. Thank you GEM Super Duper recommended. And I will definitely go again.

We met with Captain Miguel and Gem’s well equipped 26’ Proline with twin 150 hp Yamaha four strokes at 8 am. After a prompt check in with the feds, we were off and running. Very quickly, it was obvious that Miguel loved fishing as much as we did. About 10 minutes into trolling diving birds and crashing bonitos, we caught our first couple of bonito. Not a few minutes later and just outside the ocean buoy, we had a double of Spanish mackerel and dorado. Then, on our way to lunch, we caught a very nice bull dolphin that Captain Miguel expertly gaffed on the first try. A great asado at Tabago, and then back for some afternoon trolling. We are eating dinner of fresh mahi we took home now. Excellent. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 💯

I cannot really describe how amazing this trip was with GEM Charters. Since we made the reservation, the GEM team was very useful providing all the coordination and information that we needed to know in advance. They offered us a free beverages and food catering, so we did not have to worry about food and drinks before the trip. They also offered pick-up service at the hotel to take us to the port. As soon as we left the port, Captain Miguel made us feel we had also hired a tourist guide since he explained to us many interesting facts about Panama City and the Panama Canal. We were able to appreciate a panoramic view of the bay of Panama and the canal, then we went to start the first objective of the day: fishing. We were very lucky because we were able to catch large fishes, including mahi mahi (which I totally love). The Captain was in charge of filleting the fish, and he prepared the freshest ceviche of mahi mahi that we had never tried. A delicious and unique flavor! After several hours of fishing and achieving our goal, we headed to a beautiful island of white sand and crystal clear water, Isla Taboga. We all enjoyed the afternoon there, we had a walk to get to know more the island and had lunch at a local restaurant to try the Pacific Ocean cuisine: fried fish, octopus, shrimp, coconut rice and fried plantains. Amazing flavors that I hope to be able to try again! I am very grateful because absolutely everyone enjoyed the trip, we would never forget this day. I totally recommend it for children and the elderly.

La experiencia fue genial, el bote que es un Viking 46 impecable. Fuimos con mi familia y 5 niños amigos de mi hijo , todos de 12 años. El Capitán y ayudante, excelentes, respetuosos, proactivos y profesionales. Pescamos mucho y la verdad nos la pasamos genial. Me reservo las fotos ya que incluyen niños que no son mis hijos, Pero si las mostrara serían de revista. Regresaremos.

Definitivamente son un equipo demasiado excelente, 100 en atención y confort. Fui con mi esposo e hijo de 9 meses y nos sentimos muy seguros desde la salida hasta la llegada a la isla y vuelta. Pudimos disfrutar de paisajes, pesca y un almuerzo fresco frente al mar. Can’t wait para el próximo paseo con ustedes 🙌🏻

Son super buenos los recomiendo 100%. Celebre mi cumpleanos en su Catamaran y estuvieron pendientes desde el primer dia hasta el ultimo momento. me dieron opciones de pago, hicieron el seguimiento debido y todo estaba perfecto el dia del evento. la tripulacion es amable y paciente. los volveria a contratar muchas veces. Lo recomiendo !

Hicimos una reserva para salir en un bote privado un grupo de 9 amigos un Domingo para poder ver el archipiélago de Las Perlas. Todo el proceso de contratación, contacto y la salida en sí ha sido excelente. El trato con el equipo que tienen tanto en la oficina como en el barco (Capitán y Marinero) fue genial. Estamos muy contentos con la salida, el barco, el personal y los destinos elegidos, precioso sin duda. Todo se adaptó a nuestro gusto y además siempre estuvieron atentos a todo lo que pedimos. Les pedí que me hicieran un favor de traerme un refrigerador a mi casa e incluso sin ningún problema me lo hicieron. Repetiremos!
