We had a great day with Steven Huang even though it was raining he supplied us with rain coats and shoe covers he was very attentive and helpful with navigating the steps he has a great knowledge of the areas covered by the tour his English language skills are great I would certainly recommend him

Had a great day seeing Northern Taiwan. Harry was a great guide and couldn't have been nicer. Saw so many things that we just wouldn't have know how to visit. Great tour. Highly recommend.

Great driver and guide (Caleb) who also had a new and luxurious Toyota van. He was very knowledgeable, spoke great English and was always ready to take our photos. Few driver/guides have some many great qualities and he made our trip memorable. He also suggested alternative itinerary so that we could custom our trip based on our needs. His local knowledge was very helpful especially during the GeoPark visit. Finally he had a passion for customer service.

Sean Wang was a very knowledgeable guide able to answer questions about Taiwan history, economy, educational system and culture. He treated us like his own grandparents. He looked after our safety and minimized things like steps and walking distance. We would recommend Sean as a tour guide.

Mr. Hicks Wang provided great services. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and good driving behavior. The scenery was beautiful - it’s almost impossible to cover all 3 places in one day unless signing up a private tour like this.

We had a wonderful guide in Steven. He made sure we got to visit beautiful nature and sites of interest, outside of Taipei. He is knowledgeable, well informed, and good conversationist. He recommended a fabulous lunch spot with full Taiwan experience We enjoyed his company and safe driving. Itinerary of this tour is well planned to assure visits to fabulous places drive away from main Taipei city. Geopark, and lantern releasing were the highlights of the visit. Highly recommended for anyone, willing to step out of the city to explore other fabulous places.

Wow, James was amazing! He was not only knowledgeable but was so accomodating and helpful. My mom was traveling with us and she had a difficult time keeping up with everyone because of her older age and knee issues. James quickly adjusted our plan so we could skip the long hike but could still see another amazing waterfall. The whole trip was incredible, thanks to James and his expertise. I would recommend him to anyone who's traveling to Taipei in a heartbeat!

Steven (Huang) was a very knowledgeable and courteous guide and driver. He was able to change our itinerary when we had to shorten it by an hour. He did that without eliminating anything or making us feel rushed.

Our family with 2 young children had a full day tour from Taipei with James F. to Yehliu, Jiufen, Shifen, and Shifen Waterfalls and we highly recommend it!! I have been to these sites a few times before and learned more with James than on any other tour. He kept the perfect pace for us to enjoy the highlights of each location while being mindful of the kids. James also took lots of family photos for us which is greatly appreciated. The tour was well worth the cost and we look forward to booking another, hopefully with James! Thanks for making this the best day of our trip!

Caleb was an excellent guide - really knows the area well, had lots of good stories and history about all the attractions he took us to. Very knowledgeable, kind, generous with his time, and very skilled with his iPhone photography that made our family photos sing! I had wanted to visit some of the popular tourist spots in North Taiwan but didn’t want to rent a car or rely on public transport. This private tour offered by YOLO looked like a good option. The tour exceeded my expectations! The tour is offered as an a la carte menu of possible destinations with a brief discussion of each. Upon pickup at the hotel , I got to meet Hicks Wang who was both driver and guide. It was like having a personal friend spend the day with you. We quickly worked out an itinerary and had a great day out. Hicks is a very competent and knowledgeable guide, but also very pleasurable to spend time with. We efficiently saw all the sites but also covered other topics (food, Taiwan politics, local nature, etc). If you are looking to spend a day out of urban Taipei I would highly recommend this tour.

Due to limited time in Taipei, my husband and I decided on this private tour to Yehliu Geopark, Shifen old street, Shifen waterfall and Juifen old street. Roger was our tour guide. He was punctual, courteous, and professional. Yehliu Geopark was an impressive landscape. Roger walked us through many named geological formations and took pictures for us. At Juifen old street, Roger made recommendations to certain food stalls. He suggested us to try stinky tofu which we did and we found that it wasn’t all that bad. Taiwan is a haven for foodies and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We even managed to do a tea tasting ceremony at Amei Teahouse. Thank you Roger for an unforgettable tour!

Vincent was a knowledgeable and kind guide. Flexible and attuned to the interests of various people in our group between kids and adults. We enjoyed the day immensely!

We enjoyed the entire day, even with rain and cold. We recommend brining a sweatshirt, even if it’s a warm day, because it’s chilly in the mountains. Our guide, Xaio Hei, was very kind and gave as rain coats and let us use his umbrellas. The best part of this tour, in my opinion, is the variety of locations we visited. It was nice to get out of the city and explore other parts of Taiwan.

Guide (Chiao Chiao) was excellent; tour content equally so. Very flexible in covering all desired sites as not missing any others.

The best part of this tour was the guide, Harry. He knew everything about the places he took us to. He knew the shortcuts to take us to the monuments and places we were to see. He went above and beyond with every thing. Was easy to understand.

This 8 hour tour was great! The driver and tour guide, Sean, planned it the way that we did not experienced too much of crowd. Later in the afternoon it was impossible to avoid, but we were first at the waterfall right at 9am, with no people around. Not being a part of the big group, but just two of us in the car was definitely a big plus. We had chance to try a lot of delicious foods and drinks at the street markets. Day was over too fast. No pressure from Sean to buy souvenirs and other stuff-we really appreciated this. Two days, two tours from the same company, Yolo. Both guides and tours were 5 stars!

The tour was great. Learned a lot about Taiwan's history, culture, and religion thru Jimmy. Jimmy also was very patient with us and able to show us cool places to snap photos. Will definitely recommend Jimmy for a fun day to explore Taipei and its neighborhood.
