My wife and I booked 2 full days private tours with Sunshine tours and we had the best time ever. Our guide Muneer was awesome. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, polite and accommodating to our requests. He really went out of his way to make our experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this company if you want to experience the Middle East hospitality and beautiful culture, history and architecture. It was amazing experience and I can’t thank them enough especially Muneer. After the 2 days we became like a family.

Sunshine Tours Oman was convenient to book and response to inquiry messages promptly. Our guide Khalid was well-experienced, considerate, patient and a good driver. We had a wonderful experience at the Nizwa Souq, and an informative tour in Nizwa Fort& Castle. The falaj area was interesting, we just seen the demonstration at the nation museum of muscat, so it was very enjoyable to see the site in real-life.

The tour to Nizwa was great even if a cloudy weather was not allowing us to appreciate its colours. The old Fort ,the Castle and a fantastic Souk have been perfectly introduced by our guide Mr Khalid of Sunshine tour.

It’s our last day in Oman and the experience with Sunshine tour and our amazing guide Ahmed really impressed us, leaving the most memorable moments for our last time in Oman. This is a very recommended and must do tour in Oman. We had our best time here. And our tour guide Ahmed is very knowledgeable and patient and helpful. Pls find him if you guys are doing the tour.

Our guide Said Alkiyumi was a seven star guide! We enjoyed our day with him very much. Nizwa was so very interesting. The souk and date market, the castle and fort are a must see. Really enjoyed the visit to Harat Al Slybani Birkat Al Mouz's historical site was very interesting and the ancient water canals which were flowing very fast in April.

Great experience about ancient Oman history and heritage. Well time planning and a very nice English speaking driver.

Great day out visiting Nizwa - the fort and castle were very interesting - and Jabal Akhdar with its awesome views. Our guide Amir made the trip very enjoyable. He gave us insights into the history and culture of his country as well as guiding us through the various sites and answering our many questions with patience and humour.

Well planned out day with plenty to appreciate all the different stop offs. Our guide Khalid was a great guy and very knowledgeable of all the various points of interest. Sturdy footwear is needed for the last stop as it is a bit of a tricky climb but worth it for the view at the end.

We recently booked a private day trip to Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar through Sunshine tours based on the great reviews we came across. It did not disappoint! Our guide Yahya was fantastic - being an Omani himself he had all of the knowledge required to make the day informative, yet giving us enough time and space to take in the wonders of Oman for ourselves. He arrived on time, and was patient throughout the day, without rushing us at all at each of the stops. The day itself was perfect, beginning with Nizwa Souk and Nizwa Fort, followed by some time at an old village and a drive up to the top of the Jebel Akhdar mountain. The day ended with a stop at a wonderful local restaurant, which was clean, had great food and fantastic views! Really recommend this day trip. Many thanks to Yahya for a wonderful taste of Oman!

My wife and I had a wonderful tour with Amer. He was very prompt and kept us informed the entire time. The tour of the Souk and Fort in Nizwa was excellent and very informative. Amer then drove us to Green Mountain for some excellent photos and wonderful lunch. We then explored an ancient village and UNESCO irrigation site. Best tour we did in Oman and would highly recommend.

My cousin and I went on a full day private Nizwa-Jebel Akhdar trip and we had a great time thanks to our guide Said Al-Kiyumi who was articulate, knowledgeable, and charismatic. He was fantastic and even went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed every moment of our trip. It would be a mistake to leave Oman without experiencing this wonderful tour and make sure to request Said as your guide, you won’t regret it! As a bonus Said takes the best photos!!!

A great experience with Hamood, firstly Nizwa visiting the fort and the souk, then heading up into the Jebel Akhdar. The drive, up and down the Jebel was interesting in itself, but the scenery was all worthwhile. Hamood went beyond expectations in terms of knowledgeable discussion and time commitment.

Nizwa Fort and jebel akhdar both were the highlights of the tour. At Nizwa souq our guide and driver Nabhan was ensuring that we buy the genuine products of Oman. He recommended the right shops. At jebel akhdar we stopped at a restaurant for lunch which had an amazing view point. He was extremely patient with us despite our frequent photo stops and selfie. He exhibited good knowledge of history not just of nizwa but also he knew everything about muscat and Oman.

I really wanted to take this trip, it was in bucket list. I went with my son early morning, and it was last minute reservation. We were picked up from our hotel. We went first to Nazwa, two hours drive: first to the old market ( we bought many boxes of Helwa (which is local ancient dessert) and then to Nazwa fort ( took a lot of pic and tried the local bread, and had henna tattoo by very skilled ladies). From there we went to the Jabal AlAkdaer, translation- the green mountain-. Mr Abdulrahman knew we will not be able to climb to the mountain top fast ( 3000 meters), therefore he made sure to stop few times in order for us to accommodate. The stops were a nice time to relax and take pics of the breathtaking views. We had a fast lunch at a restaurant overlooking three small villages specialized in growing cultivating flowers, so you can only imaging the view there. We finally descended to Barkat al Mouz translation banana bound, an old farmers' village at the foot of the mountain, where they obtain water for the fields from water tunnels called Aflag built thousands of years ago. You can see the old city; three story houses built from clay and stones, and regarded by the UNISCO as a world heritage. The entire trip lasted around 10 hours or so. Our Guide Mr Abdulrahman was an amazing man. He made sure we enjoy every minute. He was very informative, polite, and courteous. thank you Mr Abdurahman for this amazing memorable trip. I am looking forward to take this trip again with the rest of my family.
