Efrat was our tour guide and I high recommend her!! She accommodated to our needs throughout the entire tour, and I appreciate her for that. Efrat met us at the hotel and grabbed a taxi to our first site. You have to pay for the taxi ride but that’s the only time you will have to use taxi. The rest is walking ( ALOT) from one place to another, which wasn’t bad at all! She does asked you if you are ok or need a small break. This tour was private which I loved because it’s at your own pace and you really get the experienced you need. It wasn’t rushed or anything. I would definitely booked and use her Efrat again if I visit Jerusalem again.

If you're going to take a lifetime trip to Jerusalem I highly encourage investing in the experience and getting a personal tour with Gavriel. Do no join a big group and fight for the views, deal with the lines, listen through headphones and deal with random distractions from others. We chose to have our first day in Jerusalem doing the "In Jesus' Steps tour" with Booqify. What a great decision! Our guide Shimon delivered a terrific full day tour interspersed with the relevant readings from the bible to support the moments in time we were covering. Our many questions were all answered and resulted in much discussion! Given our questions and interest, Shimon included so much more information so that by the end of the day, we had a brilliant understanding of the different religions, issues and history of this amazing city. I would recommend taking this tour as we did, right at the beginning of your Jerusalem stay so that you are armed with knowledge and information to explore this amazing city further.

My Mother in law (who needs a wheelchair), my husband and I, took a full day tour with Agustina on Ash Wednesday. My mother and I took a private tour with Shimon Palmer. We met him at the Chord Bridge Jerusalem, Shimon was easy to identify with his hat and we took an instant like to his pleasant manner. Shimons knowledge of the tours ( we had two with him, and I am so glad we had him as our guide on both) was outstanding, He showed us sights and told us things that made the tour much much more that I ever expected. Some people are born to do a particular profession. Alan has passion, deep knowledge, and joys in sharing both with you. We were a small family of three including a 14 year-old daughter. We wanted to see the Orthodox Christian sites of importance. At each site Alan brought us back in time to the events as they occurred. Alan is not just a tour guide he is a teacher in the true sense of the word. I growing up had a few of those who leave you with something that stays with you for life. During the tour people gravitated off their own tours to listen to Alan's passionate teachings. Did we become his disciples? We spent two days with Alan. The first day seeing Christian sites outside of the city including the Baptismal site at the Jordan river. The second day recreating the events in the life of Jesus and the birth of Christianity. Alan has a vast knowledge of the history of the three religions involved, and loves to share that with you in a way you will judge all future guides. We will come back and will request Alan. As a side note when one travels you miss many photo ops because you are just too busy to follow the action, well Alan sent me by email many of those missed moments.

We started our first full day in Israel with Shimon Palmer and it was a great start to the trip! Shimon communicated directly with us in advance of our meeting, helping to alleviate fears of how we would meet up with him and where. He took us to a great lunch place and even helped us exchange our money, as the counter at the airport was closed when we arrived. Shimon is an excellent tour guide for a full day tour of Jerusalem. In Jesus' Steps was absolutely incredible, the way this specific tour was setup is spectacular and is a definite must. Shimon takes the time to read from the bible to help remind you of what is going on and the significance of everything that is part of this tour. I don't want to give anything away, as it will be much more exciting as you experience it yourself for the first time. My wife and I are very grateful and happy to have done this tour specifically. We feel that it really completed this whole experience and allowed my wife to fully complete her pilgrimage. Shimon is an excellent official tour guide that doesn't push any stores or selling on you. He is a straight up genuine person that is extremely patient and will to customize your tour based on your interests and personal beliefs. Menno De Vries was our private tour guide - we did Jerusalem one day, Bethlehem-Dead Sea-Masada the next day, and Sea of Galilee area on the third day.
