The road to Kazbegi was closed due to snow, so we ended up going to Gudauri Ski Resort instead. A girl in the group went skiing for the first time and ended up breaking her teeth in front with a bad fall. We were delayed by at least an hour. Thankfully, the rest of the trip was good with scenic views. I wished that they would inform us beforehand about such changes.

Horrible Scammers! I paid in advance, reached the meeting point and there were no buses to take us! I called the person in charge and she started yelling at me on the phone. I requested a refund and still nothing from them and it’s been 3 days. Trip Advisor is not helping reach them either.

My expectations were high since the previous tour to Kakheti with this travel agency was like a 10!. But the tour to Kazbegi wasn't anywhere near that experience. So, essentially your tour guide can make it or break it for you. We left on time and arrived by 8.30pm. And kudos to our driver for the smooth ride as it is very difficult to drive on those curvy mountain roads. There was no water in the van (even though it was included in the package). We ended up purchasing it for 4-5 times the market price. And the guide wasn't even responsive to our complaint. The tour was very aggressively "timed". At every spot we got a fixed 15-20min and the whole time we were just checking our watches. Very little information was provided at each spot. I understand Kazbegi is an experience felt and there may not be much history to it. But the guide was not only difficult to understand as he spoke very fast, but also didn't provide us with any useful information. It would have been better had we just taken a marshutka to Kazbegi.

Terrible experience. They just promising you things which are unreal to get your money. We went for whole day tour to Kazbeki, till the last moment they was assuring us that weather conditions are alright and different then forecast say and we decided to trust locals. Big mistake, we saw nothing cos of weather and even tilll the very last moment they had been pushing us to pay extra money for jeep with claim, that they have info and on the top is weather ok. Total money rip off. Non friendly and rude guide and lunch at 17.00 included. Avoid them and find some else to let you show beauty of this country.

I wish I had read some of these reviews before I booked the Kazbegi tour with them. My experience was no way near as bad as what some of the others have written about but all in all I wish I had received more transparency about the scheduling of the trip. For example, we were told we would arrive at Kazbegi between 2-3pm however it was more like 5pm. And I specifically asked about the paragliding option and the female manager who sold as the tour specifically reassured us that it would be possible contingent on the weather. She even had the photos of people paragliding in her presentation "deck". However in reality, paragliding is not offered throughout the country for the last year after a fatal tragic accident. Additionally, I wish I had been told that there is the chance that we would have to wait for others in the group to finish their optional activities such as rafting (at least 30 mins) and visit to Trinity Church (around 45 mins). This meant there was a lot of waiting around, pressuring from the guide to pay to join the activities, and late arrival. If I'd known, I may have considered other options as I was just looking for a one way trip to Kazbegi. The guide, George, was actually pretty helpful and explained in good English so that's different from what others have written. Thankfully I was blessed with nice people on the tour so it made the experience tolerable but they definitely could do some work on improving their sales tactic.

The tour is full actually but they still accept book. The result is I was arranged to different tours, changes cars and different tours many times!!! What’s more, the staffs can’t speak English, just say go and wait. It’s really rude!b

Our tour guide is knowledgeable, approachable and kind. All the iterinary was visited and able to enjoy every scenery of the place. Georgia is Love ❤️ Me and my husband enjoy the trip. Thanks to our driver who makes the trip smooth and keep us safe.

Despite the weather, the day trip to Kazbegi was a pleasure and full of laughter in the whole tour, especially thank to our suprer adorable local guide Mari (AKA a real master in different languages, you'll find out if you come).

This company is to be avoided. They have no integrity. The one hand knows not what the other is doing. And they will make any promise just to get the business from mostly unsuspecting tourists. We were on honeymoon in Georgia from South Africa. We walked into their office in Tbilisi. Diana was there, and started to assist us. She was a bit uncertain of herself, so the man in the office just interrupted and took over. Apparently it was her first day as a manager. He was fast talking, smooth, glib. We fell for the guided tour to Kazbegi. GEL80 each - total of GEL160. We asked in the office whether we could be dropped off in Gudauri - which is on the way - and return with the following day's tour group. We were told it is 100% OK. We just send them a message and they will pick us up in Gudauri whenever we are ready. The manager even gave us the number to dial. If they told us it is not possible, we would not have taken the tour with them. The following morning we were there at 09:00, as we were told we have to be. By about 09:45 the transport arrived. The vehicle - a Mercedes Sprinter - seems to be poorly maintained. The luggage bin on the rear opens with a slap-dash fitted cable. The seats on the inside are worn. The suspension is not up to standard. The driving is, at times, reckless. Overtaking in the face of oncoming traffic, with a loaded vehicle with an underpowered engine. The driver is also a n extremely rude man. Your foot touches the dashboard by accident, he is at you. My wife was leaning forward to get something from her bag on the dashboard, and he just leaned across, while driving, and pushed her back across her chest. He said he could not see the side mirror. But, at that time, we were driving right up against some trucks parked on the side of the road, waiting for the tunnels to open. And to just rudely shove a strange woman is pathetic - a complete lack of manners and education. He also claimed we were "closing the door to hard". What an oaf. The tour itself was unprofessional. The tour guide is rude and barks instructions at people. It seems he was more concerned with having a smoke break with his friends from other tour groups. On the way back we were dropped off next to the road in Gudauri, after confirming many times with the tour guide (who was also the manager in the office the day we booked) that we can come back to Tbilisi with them. All good so far. We stayed for 2 nights, as there was a lot of snow and we went skiing on the Gudauri slopes. The following morning we tried to arrange the pick-uptime. Sent an SMS - no response. Then the hotel owner called them. All of a sudden this returning with them was impossible. They don't operate this way. No amount of explanation would sway whoever answered the phone. He also refused to give me his name. In fact, he even threatened me when I said I will post a review detailing this course of events. We were forced to take a marshrutka back to Tbilisi at our own expense, even though we paid for a return trip with promises that we could interrupt it the way we did. Quick to take your money and make promises, but slow on delivery. And not even always deliver on the promises. This organisation should be banned from working with tourists. They are untrustworthy, greedy and clearly not interested in giving a good experience. All that matters is taking the money. Use them at your own peril.

Diana and our driver were wonderful guides on our day trip. Diana is a multi-linguist and an experienced tour guide. Our tour was in both English and Russian. She is extremely knowledgeable of the area. The van was a comfortable 16 seater Mercedes. We hit a total of about 6 stops on our tour, region is incredible, the Caucuses mountains were covered in snow, picturesque. The restaurant was a quick stop for lunch along the way. The trinity church in ketzbegi was the star of the tour. Highly recommend this tour and Diana.

It was amazing one day tour in kazbegi mountain with knowledgeable and very helpful tour guide.. you will never get bored! See you soon

I don't know if starline travels is the best travel office but for that travel office work one of the most professional guide that i ever had. Ask for toko!!!! Best guide!!! We had a full day travel in kazbegi and we had wonderful day!!! he is a guide that have all the historical, geographical and cultural information that you want to know!! only positive energy and smile. we will come back for more trips with you!!!

This company is a fake! We booked a trip with them to Kazbegi, paid but they have not shown up to pick us up at the meeting point and they not answering! Avoid at all cost if you do not want to lose your money and time! They‘ve not only stolen our money but messed up our vacation!

We were supposed to go on this trip today, at 9 in the morning, we came at 8.30 and waited for over an hour at 1 Samghebro street near the I love Tbilisi sign, split and were looking in a radius of 300 metres for the company, the bus, anuthing! No one came! No bus, no travel agency, no Starline travel. Now we have one wasted day, the next days trips booked for other destinations and I don’t know when we will go to the mountains. I definitely don’t recommend this trip!
