We had amazing tours due Azerbaijan Travel. Our tourguide Leyla was very friendly and competently. We've learned so much from the Azerbaijani culture and history. It was not expensive and the price is completely worth it. Because of our experienced tourguide Leyla, our chauffeur who knows all the abbreviations and Sadik who sell us the tickets we had a great holiday. Thanks to everyone!

We had a wonderful trip to Gobustan and Absheron, the travel guide "Toghrul" was simply amazing - he was very patiently explaining each and every small details about the trip from Azerbaijan history, Rock carvings,oil wells, mud volcano to Fire temple story. If anyone wants to understand about the culture and overall have a better experience then "Toghrul" is the GO TO guide.

Gobestan is the site for archeological finds of paintings and carvings from thousands of years ago. It is now a UNESCO Heritage Site and a truly astounding insight of life as it existed thousands of years ago. Petroglyphs or rock carvings have been painstakingly preserved and maintained all over the mountain walls and a pathway built for viewing, carefully cordoning off the precious finds from visitors. Before this visit one must visit the Museum and understand the whole process of civilisation as it evolved over millennia to contemporary life. A truly magical experience. After that we were taken by local taxi drivers in old run down Communist era vehicles to the Mud Volcanoes. These rides are not for the faint hearted. The cars go over extremely rough terrain meant for 4 wheel drive vehicles. The door opened on my side whilst traveling at break neck speed! The mud volcanoes are frankly a bit of an anti climax. There are small mounds and large ones rising as high as 15 to 20 feet with natural gases bubbling but there is no heat as these are not lava volcanoes. The general area is covered with grey muddy surface and fortunately it wasn't raining or else the muck would have been very unpleasant to walk through. Whilst it cannot be avoided on a tourist trip I did not find the visit that interesting.

Toghrul accompanied the tour as a guide.His narration, excitement and knowledge were incredible.His energy did not drop for a moment.He explained all the information completely and in detail.He answered every question we asked and it was a tour that I will never forget.Thank you very much Toghrul

I loved this day trip. There were plenty of historical sites and visits. Toghrul, the guide, was very well-organised and knowledgeable about the rich history of Azerbaijan. Toghrul made sure everyone was involved and happy on the tour. The lunch was very good, but I'm not sure why we went back to Baku (maybe that was the route to the next visit?). Definitely worth doing if you visit Baku. The price is very good and includes lunch, entrance fees and a taxi ride to the mud volcanoes.

We went for Gobustan & Absheron trip and Mr. Toghrul was our tour guide. The tour was excellent, and we all enjoyed the tour. Our guide Mr. Toghrul is very professional and knowledgeable.

I got to know a lot of world’s history, azerbaijan’s history and ancestors history. Tour given by one of the best guide Toghrul he was so knowledgeable and best person to travel with so much professionalism in him. If i ever went to azerbaijan again i will definitely want him as my guide again. Also if you’re a car guy he’s the best person to talk about it.

I recommend this combined tour if you are ready for all day activities (8:30 to 17) otherwise split it in 2 days. Mud volcanoes (a few Kms drive) ask for a 4*4 WD vehicle to go there Old soviet cars do the job and special experience but uncomfortable. My guide Nazif is a professional you definitely enjoy the way he treats clients. Knowledgeable and well educated person, flexible and friendly.

Whole thing was the most underwhelming tour I have ever been on. Went to the mud volcanoes and it was closed, thought the tour guide would know when they are open and when not. Went to another mud volcano in a taxi which the guide told me I would have to pay for. Continued for the next 6 hours, mostly driving to different landmarks which we were given little to no info about. Was happy when it finished

This tour allowed me to visit tourist sites in outskirs of Baku as well in Baku very efficiently. The guide was professional. A little bit expensive if you travel alone, but I recommend it. One thing which didn't match the offer was that Wi-Fi was not available.

It was an amazing experience we enjoyed everything, the tour guy named TOGHUL such an amazing person, talkative, funny ,humble and well educated

We booked a tour in the Old City of Baku, there was a promoter or the agency standing by the gate and inviting tourists to their tours. The promoter promised us, that we will be picked up by our accommodation, which is only 5 min walk from the gate, where we met him. Although, we sent our location to the guide, the guide said, that we have to come to the meeting point. This was a bit frustrating. Other than that the tour was well organized, and we enjoyed seeing different parts of Azerbaijan. Since there are many stops, the time at every stop isn’t very long, just enough for the guide to explain and tell the story, 2 min for photos and then we had to leave. One of the most impressive for us was the Fire Mountain and the petroglyphs. Sadly, there wasn’t a lot of time allowed there, since the tour is quite packed, and we have to see many places before the sunset. The guide Toghrul was very knowledgeable and provided us a lot of information about Azerbaijan and the places, we visited. The lunch was a bit underwhelming, there is a set menu, and you cannot order anything extra. Also, we made a suggestion, that the lunch could be done in one of the villages on the way. We lost a lot of time waiting in traffic in Baku, since the restaurant is located in Baku itself. At the end we got dropped off at our accommodation, and the guide explained to us, that it was a misunderstanding regarding the pick up. Overall, I must say, that this was a good experience and we enjoyed the trip a lot.

Our tour guide Toghrul, was excepcional, he explained very well every detail about the different places that we visited, and really show us that Azerbaijan is an outstanding place to visit, with so many open-air museums. We also learned that Gobustan and Yanardag have an impressive universal value. I appreciated the opportunity to see this amazing attractions.

We saw the ancient history of Azerbaycan lands. We learned about nature, religion, sociology of these lands. Our guide Tuğrul was very intellectual and he answered all of our questions. He was also funny and cracked some jokes 🤣 I will recommend this tour to my friends at home.

I took this tour to give my week in Azerbaijan to add an extra buzz by adventuring outside Baku. My expectations were completely met and I had a wonderful day. Our guide was dedicated to the job and had great concern to ensure we all had a great time. We were lucky to have a diverse and friendly group which gave extra enjoyment since it made our time together more pleasant. We have many photos and memories - possibly as good or better than the ones in the brochure. Lunch was also excellent.
