Ryan was a fantastic guide! He knows so much about the ecosystem, the history, and the Native American tribes of the area. He kept us entertained all day (and it was a long day, as I was picked up from Ft. Lauderdale). The boat ride was fun and the airboat ride even more so. The wet walk was both gross and a fascinating close-up look at the ecosystem. This is definitely my top pick for a tour if you want to tour the Everglades.

The whole experience was so much better than just doing the standard airboat tour offered by other companies. Wild Lime Tours took us into the real Everglades National Park where we got to see the ecosystem up close and get not only an in-depth scientific perspective, but an historical lesson in how the native tribes co-existed and survived throughout time. Amazing and I highly recommend! Our tour guide Ryan was so great and knowledgeable and a really fun guide.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time with Wild Lime in the Everglades and Cyprus Dome. We did the full day tour that included a walk on a boardwalk (we wanted to do the wet walk but water was too high), a flat bottom boat tour and an airboat tour, along with lunch and a few other stops. It was really a terrific day and each of us had different highlights. We saw tons of alligators, as well as beautiful birds, dolphins and other wildlife. Our guide Lindsay was great - very knowledgeable and worked hard to keep the whole group engaged. Would highly recommend this tour.

It was a small group, very personal experience. Lindsey was very knowledgeable and friendly. Felt like a group of friends on a learning expedition!

Guides were very knowledgeable and fun. The wet walk was a one of a kind experience where we learned about the local flora and fauna. We saw many animals including alligators, dolphins, and many different kinds of birds. We even got to hold a baby alligator! Would recommend to everyone for a little adventure.

Went on this trip a week ago with a friend and we both really loved it. Ryan was an amazing guide with lots of interesting stories and details to share. He was also very concerned about our comfort and preferences. We did the wet walk (originally we had booked the dry walk as I was a bit apprehensive about a wet walk but we got rebooked to the wet walk and Ryan made sure I was comfortable joining), the boat tour and airboat ride and everything was so much fun and even the details were very well organized, from the snacks, drinks and water bottles to the lunch place. Highly recommend!

A great way to see and experience this unique and humongous National Park. Having a trained Biologist with you explaining the vegetation and wildlife makes all the difference, and our guide Julia, was superb and filled with knowledge and made it a fun day. Due to heavy rains that morning and the day before, they moved us to the dry walk tour which was honestly just fine, and ended being better for my teen / preteen daughters who didn’t really want to go trudging through mucky water. (Saved us from needing to change shoes and stuff too). The boat ride around the 10,000 islands left from this nice old trading post which was a fun history/antique-filled surprise to explore (and had nice new bathrooms in case you needed ). It might seem daunting to do an “all-day” tour, but this one is really like 4 mini-tours wrapped into one day with a guide to make the drive between activities well worth it. And the office staff was great to work with too, and they even ensured to refund the $25 for us driving ourselves to the meeting point that got missed when they refunded the tour price difference between Wet vs Dry tour that I had paid for. I wouldn’t have noticed but they did and were really pleasant and a good business to work with. I can also tell you that I was grateful that the airboat company they partnered with was a native-tribe run business, who have their own history worth hearing about (no spoilers) and did a great job showing us wild alligators and baby alligators out in the Everglades. It was the highlight of the day, followed by seeing dolphins playing behind our boat out in the open ocean earlier that day.

An entire day packed full of activities, information, impressions and images. Ryan is a great guide with enormous knowledge of fauna, flora, history, ecological and environmental background. As well as an excellent guide during the wet walk, the transfers and the boat rides. We were a group of 11 people, so enough time to see everything and to talk to the boatsmen and take photos. We saw birds, snakes, alligators and jumping dolphins, had a short stop on a beach and went through dense foliage with the boats. So many different and varied views of one of the most fascinating landscapes in the world. A great - and well organized - experience to remember for a long long time.

We had a great tour. Already recommended it to family. Abigail was very knowledgeable and a really good guide. She never got tired of questions. She explained the different zones of the Everglades very clearly. Highly recommend this tour.

We had an incredible day out in the Everglades, guided by a very experienced and kind guide, Mike. This day is a great concentration of activities to discover the diversity of this area, birds, alligators, grass river and mesmerizing 10000 islands ! We would never have done all this without Wild Lime Adventures.

Great experience!! They picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off near the airport just in time for our flight back home!! We loved it! Our guide, Mike, did an incredible job! He has a great depth of knowledge about the Everglades and drew on “40 years of experience “ which combined with his passion for ecology, history, and wildlife made it unforgettable for us. Highly recommend this tour!!!

My husband and I signed up for the full day package. Excellent experience on the air boat tour looking for the alligators and finding many along the ride with turtles (if you look hard) and lots of native birds for your viewing pleasure. The afternoon passenger boat ride equally as wonderful locating the dolphins and filming them riding our motor’s waves. Also lucky to see a group of the large white pelicans and the sometimes hard to find roseate spoonbill; a real treat. The wet walk was the only disappointing part of the full day tour. Just too muddy a trail and hard to maneuver without getting stuck or falling in (for a few) consider yourself warned. Would do a dry walk next time. The lunch and snacks/drinks provided were very good. Tour guides were fantastic and knowledgeable. A few stops along the way offer extra restrooms, gift shops and museum access for a quick peek. We also appreciate the shuttle pick up service and access to water shoes and walking poles but would recommend bringing your own water footwear for comfort and appropriate size. Proper Water shoes work best not sandal type for the wet walk. Thanks so much Wild Lime Adventures for a wonderful (bucket list) trip we will never forget.

We did the one day tour to the Everglades with the wet walk and it was a fantastic experience. Ryan is an easy going, fun and knowledgeable guide who kept things amusing and interesting. His knowledge of history, fauna, flora and the local native American tribes is superb and we learned a lot. He was totally prepared with everything we needed for the trip: snacks, drinks and water for the day, ponchos for the boat, binoculars, lots of mini guide cards on the local flora and fauna, wet shoes for the wet walk and walking sticks. The lunch was simple and delicious and has gluten free options. We felt really well taken care of. The first boat trip in the mangroves is beautiful and we saw a lot of birds. The wet walk sounds daunting but is definitely worth doing. Ryan is an orchid fan and found some unusual species. The airboat trip was exhilarating and we saw many alligators and lots of birds. A day well spent and not to be forgotten. Highly recommend choosing Wild Lime Adventures.

We had a great and tiring full day experience with our fantastic guide Ryan. He met us with the comfortable van at a hotel across the street from ours. Everything was taken care of for the entire day. Water, snacks, lunch, shoes and walking sticks, towels, etc. Never hand to think about anything. In addition to the three main activities, there were a lot of short stops and discussion about the Everglades, the Miami area and Florida in general. We started the day with an hour drive out to the Everglades to meet up with another tour group and swap some passengers. We then continued on for another 45 minutes to the first part of the trip, the boat ride through the 10,000 islands. Our captain Gary(?) was great and very knowledgeable about the area. Highlight of the trip were the many dolphins riding in the boat wake. This happened three or four times. We had a quick lunch of subs from a local place that were pretty decent. Second stop was the wet walk through the Big Cypress Preserve. This is a bit challenging since you are walking through knee and thigh deep water over a bottom covered with mud, roots and rock. There are some holes that are as much as a foot deeper than the surrounding area so it is easy to fall down into the water and about half of the people on the walk fell in at least once. The walk itself is pretty amazing with otherworldly scenery of trees in the clear water and sights of some orchids, but no wildlife. Make sure you bring a change of clothes as you will get wet and probably muddy too. The last stop was an airboat ride in the Miccosukee Indian Reservation. This is a much better trip than the Everglades portion since the Miccosukee have looser restrictions than the national park. The airboat ride itself is pretty cool, but it's noisy so you don't see much wildlife. They will find a few gators for you. Trip started at 730 AM and we were back at our hotel around 630PM. So a full day that will leave you pretty tired.

This was by far one of the best tours we have ever taken! Airboat ride through the freshwater Everglades to see alligators, a boat ride through the brackish waters at 10,000 islands. Saw some dolphins! And a wet walk into a cypress forest. It was amazing!!

I've used Wild Lime TWICE this year and it's been a great experience BOTH times. Tour guides are professional and the company takes care of every detail on your trip. My wife and son were happy with their experiences too. Paul was our latest guide and he was a great Everglades guide! I will use Wild Lime again when I return to south Florida.

There are many events that can describe this as a ‘real eco tour.’ Heading out in the Everglades grassy lakes, with Paul, our guide was just terrific. Having the Captain of our boat being a native Messasukee Indian was great. Together with our guide Paul, we experienced what very few people has experienced—hands on a gator! A mother gator on her nest, newly hatched gator babies and visit to an Indian village in the middle of the beautiful sawgrass and crystal clear waters. Just getting started here. That was so epic! The on to Everglade City for lunch, specially made subs, wraps or hoagies with your ordered fixings already for you upon arrival! Then a boat ride into the Gulf to look dolphins and manatees. Check both! History lessons in the Everglade City museum and nature and history nuggets along the way narrated by our guide Paul. Just great! Well, if I told you anymore, you’d have to pay me. Sign up for this epic day-long, filled with beauty and awesomeness. One more thing about Paul, our guide—courteous, friendly and for sure, took care of eight strangers—Germans, British and Yanks just like we were family! Morgan Hellgren

The entire day was perfect but the wet walk with ecologist guides was definitely the highlight of the day! The airboat ride introduced us to many alligators and the island we visited was important for both wildlife and cultural reasons. The second boat ride revealed playful dolphins and many birds : we were at the Gulf of Mexico! But the wet walk was wild and wonderful. Guides Stacy and Elijah: thank you for a knowledge and fun filled time!

Very good overview of the immense national park. Could have done without the wet walk in the afternoon. I think a kayak trip would have been better and a better chance to see wildlife. Guide was knowledgeable.
