Very friendly and knowledgeable guide. He made sure everything was going well, give us time to explore and small breaks to relax. I had a great time and felt safe as well. I would definitely book this tour again.

An excellent tour with Juan which my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed. Cycle base very close to Kyoto main station and very easy to find. The tour was a great balance of the sights and sounds of Kyoto. On our subsequent days, we went back and revisited some of the locations we visited. Do this tour as soon as you can when you arrive in Kyoto as it is a great way to orientate yourself. Juan was very helpful with additional info, tips and restaurant suggestions. Very useful. Reccommended.

I personally love cycling, so this is a great way to see the towns I visit. This trip is a 7h long trip (we left 09:45 ans came back 16:30), were you cycle approximately 18 miles in total. It includes alot of stops at different shrines and memorabilia. It also includes lunch and water. I loved this trip, we were a good group who got along well. Our guide was very responsible and guided us well how to cycle in the narrow and crowded streets, as well along the water banks. I like the fact he wasn’t brought up here, rather moved here from the States 25 years ago, so it felt he showed us what he personally liked about Kyoto, as well as showing the holy places, the geiko/maiko places and took us to a fun assembly line restaurant that we enjoyed very much! If you feel for culture, history and the need to move your body at the same time - this is the trip for you ❤️

This was a great way to circumnavigate Kyoto. Juan was an excellent guide presenting his city with great enthusiasm and a lot of knowledge. He was extremely safety conscious and very aware of other road/pavement users. We had a good lunch and bikes were good quality.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable and informative tour, covering 35kms and several lovely sites with excellent commentary from our guide Jay. Having a pleasant group of riders enhanced the experience. Highly recommended way to get your bearings in Kyoto and learn a lot about its amazing history.

Great way to explore the highlights of Kyoto and get a feel for what life looks like outside the city centre. We enoyed the wonderful stories of our guide Quin who combines indepth knowledge of the Japanese history and culture with a warm and hospitable personality.

We had an awesome day cycling around the sights of Kyoto. Julian was an excellent guide and english is his first language. The weather was perfect. If you like riding this is a great way to see Kyoto.

We had a great day with Juan. He is a very knowledgeable guide that can tell you all there is to know about Kyoto and then some more. The cycling route is beautiful, not hard, very smartly through all back roads in small neighborhoods, we always felt very comfortable and safe. We highly recommend this tour.

Mayco was an excellent guide taking us around Kyoto's must see places including some local but worthwhile places which had very few tourists. Kyoto is a beautiful and interesting city which is best explored by bike. Being a longer format tour, it's best of have some level of fitness and confidence on a bike.

Great cycle tour to cover the key Kyoto highlights underpinned by excellent guide Paul whom explained the history and other relevant facts very well supported by traditional Japanese lunch. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed an excellent days cycling around Kyoto with Kevin. He and the team are very well set up close to the centre of Kyoto, with good bikes and a friendly flexible service. We learned a lot about Kyoto and loved zipping around with a guide who really knows all the nooks and crannies of their area. We would thoroughly recommend the days exploration, to signpost what areas you would like to return to in depth.

If you only have 1 day in Kyoto, this is the best way to see everything. The route and lunch was well planned out. The guide was absolutely excellent, we have already recommended to some friends. Kyoto really is made for biking. It was an excellent trip, the best day of our trip to Japan

After a few minor changes to the plan due to weather and guide adjustments for the 1000am ride, we mounted our bikes and set off with a larger than normal combined group. Super cool this day with a great leader that knew his Japanese history and cultural norms very well. Indra was our guide for the day and expertly lead “the pack” thru alleys and streets with enough stops to keep us educated, hydrated, and never exhausted. He took us to a delicious lunch spot, photo spots, and showered us with insider knowledge on Japanese culture secrets that will be remembered forever. He is a great bicyclist (altho he would deny it) and kept us safe on those busy sidewalks (MUPs) and roads across Kyoto. Some rain today during the ride but better than tomorrow! One of the best bike tours we ever took. We have ridden in Paris, Sydney, Honolulu, Tokyo, and Portland and now with the best…Indra in Kyoto!

A great way to see Kyoto. Karl our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. He showed us many of the sights of Kyoto as well as taking us to parts of the city we would never have found. We got to see the blossom at its best which was very special. We chose ebikes which were comfortable and performed well. Lunch was very tasty and in a small authentic local restaurant.

This was a great way to see the highlights of Kyoto. Our guide was Indra and he was an excellent source of facts about Japanese culture and history. The tour allows you to visit some of the best sights (golden temple, Gion, inari shrine) within the day. We also had a delicious lunch and lots of photo opportunities. We met some lovely people in our group, in all a great day spent.
