In ~8 hours, 20 miles, and 3 food stops, we covered Buenos Aires neighborhoods in the north and south in a long, slender loop. I had spent most of my trip in the south, so I was exited to see the differences in architecture (and dog-walking styles!) in other barios. My group was only 3 people + guide Julián and we moved at a gentle pace, stopping frequently to hear stories about the history of the city and country. (I saw one review criticizing the guide for injecting their “politics” into their talks. That’s actually what convinced me to book with this company: I’d like to hear real perspectives from real locals! I was particularly interested in what Julián had to say about the Malvinas and Los Desaparecidos.) Julián was attentive to the group, informative, and friendly. The bikes were in good repair. I would happily book with Biker Street again! If you’re from a cooler climate like I am, you may wish to bring additional water and ask for an extra bathroom stop if you need it. And don’t forget sunglasses! It felt like we were biking into the sun the whole day. 😎

I had a fantastic time on my bike tour of Bue os Aires. Julian was a fantastic guide providing an informative tour with a great balance of history, culture, and current events. I felt safe while following him on the bicycle. Food stops were delicious. What a great way to see BA.

If you are new to Buenos Aires, and want to leave feeling like you know the city, take this tour! We had the pleasure of doing the full day tour with Gilda. What a fascinating, educational, and very fun way to experience the city. Gilda was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. She provided interesting facts and perspectives on Argentine history, art, culture, and architecture, as well as personal insight and commentary on both the past and present. The bikes were easy to ride and comfortable. The route was well thought out and we felt safe at all times. We rode mostly on bike paths, but there were a few times we were in traffic. It was interesting to ride through such a wide variety of neighborhoods, some of which otherwise might be inaccessible to tourists. We made arrangements for the tour before we arrived in BA, and communication with BA Bike Tours was easy and clear. They also provided helpful information for getting to and from their location. The price of the tour included all of the extras -- mate, empanadas, lunch, cemetery ticket, and bottled water – so we didn’t have to worry about not having enough local currency. Thank you, Gilda and Biker Street, for a fantastic introduction to your beautiful city!

What a special way to explore the city! Pedaling along bike lanes to city sights and lesser well-known spots was a highlight of my first visit to Buenos Aires. Julian was a friendly and knowledgeable guide and I appreciated our relaxed mate break, an unusual empanada spot, and lunch off the tourist path. I would do this tour again. It was a great day!

Julian is an exceptional guide. My family and I had a truly safe tour, learned so much about Argentinian culture and history, and saw highlights of Buenos Aires from a local with deep knowledge of the country. We had the best empanada in BsAs, drank Yerba mate, and learned so much about Argentina. Outstanding experience!!!

I was fortunate enough to have a private full day tour. Gilda was a great guide. She was very personable and gave me an in-depth history of all the areas we visited. The bikes were top notch. I highly recommend this company to anyone that wants to explore central Buenos Aires .

We had a wonderful experience with Julin, even though we had to have an hour rain delay and take some detours due to flooding . lol It’s a great way to see the city and we got to experience some local traditional food and drinks (mate) A tour into the Recoleta cemetery was also included . I was first a little skeptical about biking in such a large city, but it’s very biker friendly and the traffic respects the bikers.

We had the best day. We had seen quite a few BA sites but this was a tour with a difference. Seeing the sites on a bike means you see them properly. It’s an easy ride although we had a hot day and we were exhausted by the end. Julian was exceptional. So interesting and he kept the cold water up the whole day. Plentiful local food and a small intimate group made getting around so easy. I cannot rate this tour highly enough. Great communication with operators. A very personal approach

Do not book until you are in the city!!! I booked months out since I had an 18 hour layover in Buenos Aires and thought this would be a great way to kill time and see the city. My flight was set to arrive at 6am, plenty of time to arrive to the meet up point. However, my flight was cancelled at 11pm the night prior so I wouldn’t be arriving until 1030am. I asked for a reschedule or a refund and got a reschedule. Only problem with that is the flight the night prior to the reschedule was cancelled due to weather. I asked for a refund since flight cancellations are beyond my control and I got “because we saved a spot for you, we are unable to issue a refund” So I’m out $100 for a tour I never got to take. So unless you plan this 4 days in to being in the city, I wouldn’t book it

Just finished a great 7 hour day with Gilda as our guide for our family of 4 (including 2 college-age kids). This was a great way to experience Buenos Aires, see all the sights you want to see and get a little exercise out of it as well. We supposedly covered 30+km but it didn't feel like that. Enjoyed the snack/food breaks - mate tea, empanadas, choripan sandwich - which kept us fueled for the journey. Biking is definitely the way go vs all the tourists on buses or taxis. We had Gilda all to ourselves and could ask all the questions we wanted of her. She kept us safe and was attentive to our needs (bathroom breaks or otherwise). This was the ideal way to see all the major points of interest in BA.

Phenomenal experience and a fantastic opportunity to meet this city in a very kinesthetic way. Feeling Buenos Aires on its streets: the sounds, the wind, the sun, the taste of its street food. And all of that, just by hopping on a bike. Great attention by Gilda on the Whatsapp. Julian is the most attentive guide. Great people, all of them. Don’t think it twice and take this tour. Highly recommended!

The first thing we did upon arrival in Buenos Aires was book a bike tour and we were most glad we did! It gave us a great overview of the city so we could get our bearings to plan the rest of our stay. Julian couldn't have been a better guide - he was encyclopedic with his knowledge of history, politics, culture and food. The small group size was appreciated as all our questions were answered - and we had many as the city is fascinating. Further, Julian always made sure we were safe on the roads and bike lanes, all while offering us oodles of patience while we practiced our Spanish. His wife was most kind and helpful with the admin side. She deserves a shout out too! Highly recommended!

Julian is an amazing tour guide! I did the whole day tour and really feel like I learned a ton about Buenos Aires from him. He really takes a lot of time and care to explain the sites and culture of Buenos Aires and Argentina. I can’t recommend his company enough!

An excellent tour and one I would recommend. Of course we saw all the main sites of BA with good information provided, but in addition Julian linked these to the experience of being a Porteño in today's Argentina. This gave the tour a personal touch and provided a deeper understanding of the country and its people. The food was good and BA is beautiful in November, not too hot and green with blossoming trees in many parks and along roads.

This is a fantastic way to see BA if you’re only here for a short time. Julian our guide showed us all the major areas of the city and was able to answer any questions we threw at him. Cycling round the city felt very safe using cycle lanes the majority of the time. There are plenty of stops for loo and refreshments and chats with Julian our guide.
