Our tour guide in auschwitz and birkenau what beyond incredible informative perfect personality could not rate her any higher and sharing her own story about her uncles who were there
Schindler factory tour was a disappointment the guide struggled with the English tour getting dates and information wrong and she knew very little information on the factory was just reading from the wall charts
It was a disappointing end to a fantastic day
The driver arrived about 10 minutes late for our pick up due to heavy traffic which wasn't an issue but he apologised before anything else which was a nice start. The minibus was very comfortable despite being totally full and the journey to Auschwitz of 1 hour 20 minutes was scenic and pleasant. The tour was very well organised and the tour guides at Auschwitz-Birkenau and the Schindler Factory were very informative and had all the information you needed. You need to be aware that the trip to Schindlers factory is not about the making of ther film - you will be disappointed if you go there for that purpose - it is more about the background to the ghetto and life during the war period. Would certainly recommend the trip.
Lovely small group and comfortable journey in modern mpv. Friendly driver and knowledgeable guides. Would recommend this trip
The driver, Bart, was an excellent driver, helpful, professional and friendly. The whole day was super well-organized, the guide we had for the camp was outstanding . His explanations were coherent, sensitive and he never let anyone forget why you have to see this horrific place with your own eyes. I didn't catch his name but he had a very interesting accent, I liked the way he rolled his rrrs...
Trip was made very easy by our English speaking driver and in a very comfortable Mercedes minibus. We watched a dvd on the way there about the history of the camps. Even though its only about 40 miles away, the journey took 75-80 mins in light traffic but all on B roads. We had a very good informative guide to take us round Auschwitz and Birkenau. I can't recommend this trip enough. The experience of the camps may be harrowing but it an experience you won't and shouldn't forget.Schindler factory is very interesting and a worthwhile addition to the day.
A place to open our mind about radical choices and opinions about human capacity. All people in the world shoud visit Auschwitz.
Obviously a very emotional visit but these events in history should never be forgotten. Our guide Barbara was very knowledgable and gave a thorough grounding in the Nazi operations of the camps. Our driver, Andrew, was also very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for him. I had previous knowledge of Oskar Schindlers factory operation but to visit the factory made it all the more poignant.
Auschwitz tour was very worthwhile. I highly recommend seeing it.
Schindler's factory was disappointing. We expected to learn more about him. Instead, it was about WWII and almost nothing about Schindler. I would not recommend that part of the tour at all.
Michal collected us from our apartment and drove us to Auschwitz and on to Birkenau. He is very friendly and efficient. Our English speaking guide Barbara at the camps was knowledgable and gave an excellent tour. It poured with rain but there is nothing the organisers could do about that! The trip to the Schindler factor was an added bonus. Michal came to meet us and drove us home at the end of a long, emotional, but informative day. Thank you!
