Great time! The cruise around Canyon Lake was breathtaking. The staff and guest in the Dolly Steamboat were friendly and engaging. The atmosphere at Tortilla Flats was fun and the food was good. Our last stop at Goldfields Ghost Town gave you a glimpse of a old mining town. Cody was a outstanding guide. We had a great day!

Absolutely a great day! Cody is an amazing guide, went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our trip. There was no pressure to be moving on, no clock watching (except when we had to catch the boat) lol. Being picked up and dropped back off after the trip is a brilliant way to travel. Would recommend Cody and his tours 100% . We will be back for more!

It was nice we didn’t have to drive ourselves. Everything went very smooth on the adventure. I feel we could have had a bit more time at the museum and the ghost town. Overall it was good.

This is an amazing way to spend a day of adventure! Cody is an excellent communicator and very knowledgeable about the entire state of Arizona. We were picked up and dropped off at our VRBO which was a real plus and luxury for us as travelers. The highlight of our day was the Dolly Steamboat ride and seeing the wildlife on the cliffs of the rocks. We would definitely recommend this Adventure Company. Cody was very professional and adhered to all the Covid restrictions and guidelines throughout the entire day. We would definitely use this company for future travel plans again if we were in the area! Don't hesitate, trust the reviews and book your day of Adventure!

This was a very enjoyable day and experience. Cody was prompt picking us up at our resort. We had a pleasant drive into the Superstition Mountains. We enjoyed our various stops and had a great burger during our free time in Tortilla Flat. The boat ride on the Canyon lake was memorable and filled with beautiful sights. We recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful time with Cody (driver and guide). He picked us up from our condo complex right on time. He was very knowledgeable, easy-going and filled us in on some of the stories and legends of the region. The cruise on the Dolly paddle boat was the high point of the day. We saw a bald eagle soaring above the lake as well as bighorn sheep. All in all, it was a great tour and we would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Phoenix area.

Our tour guide, Cody, was knowledgeable, punctual, and made sure we had an amazing time. We loved seeing the host town, mining for gold, going on the zip line with amazing views, and touring Canyon Lake on a ferry. A amazing experience like no other. Definitely do this tour when visiting Arizona.

Got picked up at apartment on Alma School road by Cody and proceeded to Superstition Mountain Museum with our very informative host spent 45 minutes there then off to Canyon Lake stopping for pics of the valleys and mountains on the way. Got to The Dolly Steamboat and had a wonderful ride on the lake stopping and getting nice pics of the Desert Bighorn Sheep, bald eagles etc. Then off to Tortilla Flat for a great meal, from there we stopped at the Goldfield Ghost Town and wandered around looking at all the artifacts and old buildings. Then off to our apartment in Mesa. All in all was a great experience with a very great guest.

Cody was so gracious to let my husband and I set our own pace as my husband has neuropathy. He was just a text away and planned a fun day with three interesting stops. The Dolly paddle boat on Canyon Lake was breathtaking. We saw three eagles and a Ram scurrying up a skinny precipice. Great day.

Cody was awesome, he gave us background history of all the places we visited, informative of desert life, and did well with curious young children. On time with all of our departure and return times. And was able to capture a great family photo for us. He was also a safe driver. Definitely recommend, and hope to use this company again for our next family adventure

My wife and I had the pleasure of a private full day tour with Cody from Wandering Heart Adventures. Cody initiated multiple contacts to confirm our booking, provide pickup information, and to make sure we received the messages. He arrived on time at our hotel for the pickup, with a huge warm smile that lasted the entire day. The vehicle and ride was very comfortable, and bottled water was provided throughout the day as we toured the sights. As we drove along the Apache Trail, Cody gave us the history and stories of each area and for each upcoming sight. We walked through the gold mining town of Goldfield, the church, buildings, museums, etc, and mingled with the old timers wondering the town in period clothing. The cruise along the shores of Canyon Lake on the Dolly Steamboat was breathtaking. The views, the mountains, the water, were all so different than we are used to seeing back on the East Coat. One of the greatest highlights were a herd of big horn sheep the Captain spotted on the ridge top, he stopped the boat so all had a chance to see the beautiful animals in their natural world. Cody suggested lunch at Tortilla Flat, and we “saddled up” at the bar for refreshments, taking in the Old Western setting. As we headed back to town, one of the photo op stops Cody suggested was The Superstition Mountain, with the mountain in the background and desert landscape all around. Cody showed us a neat day touring outside of Scottsdale, and facilitated every stop, so touring was effortless for us. We learned a lot, saw a lot, and felt we had experienced it with a new friend. Thank You Cody for a great day! ~ J&J
