What a wonderful experience !! Jakobus was our guide for the day, This trip is a real find.... a must, if in Stellenbosch. We booked our day trip, the day before, .( it turned out cheaper than pre booking). Our tour guide Jakobus, was an extremely informative guy. . On our tour, he told us lots of quirky anecdotes of Stellenbosch itself, having grown up there and still a resident. The cheese and wine pairing at one winery was superb!! One could also buy delicious breads, cheeses and of course the wines. What's not to like!!! I would most certainly repeat this wine Tour again . Super value for money, Top guide, fantastic cheeses, and of course, great wines One can just sit back and enjoy the wonderful senary and the delicious wines and not have to worry. Almost forgot , a very tasty lunch is also included in the price. !! TOP!!! STARS ALL ROUND

We are a mixed group of friends and family members with ages from 21 to 67 and we had a memorable 10 days holiday on the Garden Route , Cape Town and Gondwana Game Reserve . Niels , Wills and Jake took care of all minute details and ensure that our mixed group were entertained and well fed . Their recommendation of the restaurants were spot on for experiencing South African cuisine , and game meat. They were flexible with some last minute travelling arrangements and very knowledgeable on the sights and culture .

Impossible to single out one part. Jacub was full of interesting facts about the places we visited and the history of the area. Visited 4 different wine yards and none provided the same experience. Lovely lunch and an extra stop was made to allow us to visit a cellar. Would definitely recommend

Excellent tour by Marius he took us to 4 totally different wine farms and we had a different experience at each one. We would definitely recommend this tour. Marius has a great sense of humour as well as fantastic knowledge.

Overall we enjoyed the vineyards that were chosen to visit. However the day started unnecessarily early given 90 mins + was allowed at the first vineyard. Jake talked too much and needs to say what is needed and then give the audience a rest. Listening to him for 9 hours was wearing.

Jakob was a great host/driver for this trip. After being picked up (on time) we were a small group. Jakob gave us some history of Stellenbosch whilst we got onto our first winery of 5 in the day. Each winery had a different character and it was interesting tasting (at least 4 tastings at each venue) what they had produced with a narrative from each one. Personally the best was saved for last (I will let that remain a surprise!). The inclusive lunch was also very nice and let me sample a traditional South African dish of Bobotie. This is a BIG recommend for this excursion.

Loved the variety of vineyards and wines we got to taste. Jake was an “awesome” guide and driver. It was great to be able to leave the driving and winery selection up to someone who knew the area so wel. The stories during the drive time were also interesting.

Jacques was an excellent guide! He made sure to share interesting facts and stories as we drove through the winelands

Brilliant day with Jack as our guide. What he didn't know about wines isn't worth knowing. Better still he gave us insight into the culture and customs of the country. Answered every question that we had, and a very safe and comfortable mini bus. Really enjoyed the day and his company.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the local area and the vineyards, as well as arranging for an extra cheese tasting in the day for us! The wines were all lovely and the company was great, too.

We visited 4 wineries with different experiences at each one to make them special. A delicious lunch in between and a friendly guide. It was lovely to interact with fellow guests from around the world.

I had such a wonderful time on this wine tour! It was extremely personalized, and we saw many different wineries throughout the day. Lunch was very tasty and filling, and each winery was gorgeous. Was an amazing way to get to see a lot in and around Stellenbosch, and I will definitely be going on this tour again when I am back in Stellenbosch!

Our local guide was very informative and loved his sense of humour. All the wine farms we visited were very different to each other so it gave us a good overall view of the wine industry in the area. We loved the cheese pairing.

An amazing experience with Afrivista. Not just the wine tour but ALL the other excursions. Niel was our guide throughout our holiday. He showed us the best of South Africa and explained in detail every place we visited. Apart from the wine tour, Niel helped us organise paragliding, surfing, whale watching, seal diving….whatever you ask, Afrivista will organise it. Highly recommended. Niel was always punctual, had fresh water for us everday and guided us to the best restaurants with good value for money. This was the best holiday so far!

Jakobus picked me up at exactly the agreed time. Ready for a great day of fun, enjoying the taste of great wines as well as him telling several stories related to the vineyards as well as the surroundings. What a great experience! Absolutely loved the mix of vineyards we visited, anywhere between time stood still for several decades (Muratie) to nowadays but low-key (Rustenberg) and modern more commercial but still amazing (Glenelly). Tasting were basic but good, the cheese-wine pairing at L’Avenir beought about some interesting and surprising combinations. All in all a great day with much much more than just drinking g a few wines!

Wow. 4 fantastic wineries plus a fantastic lunch all included. Wonderful all around and great value.

We had the friendly and informative Jakes as our guide. The vineyards he took us to were amazing and we learnt so much from him. He certainly knows his wines. We would recommend to anyone considering a true wine tasting experience with a genuine guide
