We did not get to see the bioluminescence because some of the group did not want to wait for it to get dark enough and our guide was not willing to drop them off and return to where you view it at monkey beach, he seemed more interested in watching a show on his phone. The pick up was late and the person involved not very welcoming or forthcoming with information. My advice go with aristo tours, they were better organised!

It’s hard not to enjoy the beautiful Phi Phi islands, but this tour left much to be desired. After meeting our guide at the meeting spot we waited for nearly an hour before setting off, for reasons that were never explained to us. The tour seemed fairly rushed, and everywhere we visited was absolutely packed with tourists. The guides will attempt to solicit the national park fee from you even if you’ve already pre-paid it. We returned to shore well before sunset and I practically had to demand we turn around and see the Bioluminescent Plankton, even though it is in the title of the tour. The guides seemed perfectly happy to end the trip without it and offered no explanation as to why they decided to just skip one of the main parts of the tour. Thankfully it was relatively cheap - you get what you pay for.

The trip was good enough, I have no issues. Our host had to have table with "Get Your Guide" sign, but she didn't have it, even more, she couldn't speek it correctly. Fortunetly she only left us by the boat driver and we have no more seen her.

Most enjoyable met lovely people

Let's start by saying that disorganization reigns supreme in this activity. Appointment a quarter of an hour before the start of the tour and after about 45 minutes we still haven't figured out who we should go with. Safety on top of the long boat was completely absent with the engine leaving us at the mercy of the waves for more than 10 minutes, safety when in the water was even less than on top given that they pass by with the propellers at face height. The guide is simply a driver who takes you from place to place without anything else added. We paid mainly for the bioluminescent plankton experience and the latter was not carried out from our boat, fortunately, after having reiterated our thoughts and what we had booked, we were left on another boat which allowed us at least to see him for a few minutes. As per other reviews they persistently tried to make us pay again for the Maya bay park. Food and water on board not present or not offered.

don’t book this tour. I’ve booked it mostly looking forward for the luminescent plankton and they simply skipped it. They (the guides) said it would be a 1 hour wait and then started moving the boat asking if it was ok to skip or if anyone wanted to do it. I said i wanted but they just kept moving the boat. Terrible boat, terrible scripts and the guides don’t speak English + they tried to get us to pay a national park entry when we had already paid and showed them. In the end they “recognised their mistake”

Best of all, of course, Maya Bay

The "guides" barely communicated with us. The "snack" was a piece of pineapple. And the only place that was really pretty to see was Maya Bay, which we had to pay an extra 400 Baht per person to see. Some people on our trip had never snorkeled before and the guides did not assist them at all to show them what to do. It was very poorly executed.

The snorkeling and the visit to Maya Bay were very beautiful, the plankton is barely visible and only with the mask, not on the surface like in other areas of the world. The organization was chaotic upon arrival and departure was very late.

We liked what we visited, but the excursion said it left at 1:30 p.m. and it was delayed an hour. The worst thing is that if you hire it there it costs you €7/8, that is, we feel scammed. We went with the boat full of people who paid what it really costs, since, for what it is, it is not worth what it cost us. Furthermore, we had to pay the fee to enter Maya Bay (which we already knew) but added to the initial price... it was almost €100 per pair when in reality it costs you about €16 if you hire it here. A scam to do it through an agency

Sights were breathtaking, but almost completly ruined by bad organisation and boat driver/guide who wanted to get the tour over with as fast as possible. (For example: not even 10 minutes was given to see the glowing plankton). Very overcrowded, both on the boat and at the stops. Were forced to pay an additional 400 Bhat P p (despite having prepayed National Park fee). If possible find the same tour from one of numerous other operators!!

Many things could be improved, if not all. The organizers are not easy to find at the meeting point, they kept us waiting for almost 1 hour from the time they told us the activity would start. The guides did not explain or advise anything when it came to seeing the tickets for each stop. They didn't give us water, we had to ask for it ourselves. Not to mention the appearance they had... I think that being such a beautiful excursion, with a little more tact and friendliness you would honestly have another experience. Thank goodness the landscapes are beautiful, that's what I take away from the experience.

The areas we visited were incredible. The whole area was spectacular!
