We had booked a small group of 15 people, we were about 70! At the breakpoints there were other boats with just as many guests. That is, we could not enjoy the really beautiful islands. That was mass tourism, unfortunately. The lunch wasn't really edible, raw fish that had been in the heat for a long time, etc., an impertinence. Definitely not recommended in the form in which it was offered or carried out, and certainly not at a price of over €100 per person. Sorry, but that doesn't work at all.

Too many people everywhere

It's pure mass tourism! At least during the Christmas holidays! You drive for more than an hour crammed with 60 other people in a cramped, noisy boat. . . Is at the same time with 10-15 other boats on the same beaches, visits the Donald Duck rock in duck march and snorkels at totally grazed spots again with hundreds of others. . . And then the disastrous lunch in the military canteen. Just terrible!

The hotel was also contacted for pick-up, and I was able to participate in the tour with peace of mind because of the good consideration. Fruits, cola and water were distributed during the embarkation, and light meals were prepared before and after the embarkation, and the contents were fulfilling from beginning to end.

If you like Mass Tourism go there! Full of people, YES! but not full day of snorkeling...

Nice people. Enough water and food. lunch wasn't great, but the snorkling was. great with coconut icecream to take the sea sickness after returning.

The guide told little and was unclear due to snorkeling. Many boats at the same time making it much too busy for snorkeling.

Unfortunately, this excursion is pure mass tourism. There was not much to see from the beach due to the large number of people, the food was catastrophic, everything smelled of gasoline from the countless boats ... I would not recommend this excursion to anyone.

The bus came to be picked up 1.5 hours later than planned. In our group everything was Russian except for 7 people. The guide too. He only explained everything in Russian. We always had to ask him to explain something in English. For snorkeling we stayed much shorter than the agreed half hour. The food was bad and the time was very short. The boat's engine turns off much more often.

Tour start over other too late. The islands therefore did not overflow beautiful pictures possible. We could not enjoy the islands. Main island worse. Food not tried, because there was no more seating. No fish seen while snorkeling, water too deep and also these places overrun. Team unmotivated.

Beautiful beach

The Similan Islands basically form a beautiful chain of islands with great beaches and crystal-clear water, BUT too many tourists are simply admitted to the islands every day, which makes it much too crowded, especially on the main island. It is almost impossible to find a quiet place for the lunch break there - not to mention that lunch was inedible anyway. A visit to the well-known rock is extremely difficult due to the large number of people and is close to life-threatening (insufficient security, no control). The countless people unfortunately also meet you while snorkeling, so that you have to get away from the boat / the boats to get a clear view of the wonderful fish. Mass tourism is unfortunately also evident in general transfers and at the pier. The only positive thing to highlight is the crew, who were always friendly and tried to keep the mood good despite the engine failure.

No recommendation at all except for the food. Mass tourism on the speed boat, on the beach and at the national park. Unfortunately there is no relaxation here! Are very disappointed. We hoped for a lot. However, got little. We would not recommend it.
