We did the Cape Town Hop On - Hop Off from the city centre to Table Mountain, stopped off in Camps Bay for a few hours in the afternoon. Absolutely lovely bus tour; my children loved the open top experience (It was their first time on the Red Bus). Very conveniently located stops on the route, clean buses and the guided audio tour was also fun to listen to. This will be a definite must-do in the future as well.

The tour guide was amazing and the bus was in excellent condition as always. So happy to always travel on these amazing red buses.

We took the whale watching cruise at Hermanus Though it was the end of the whale season and we were skeptical, we were lucky to see quite a few whales as well as dolphins Overall the experience was very good Hermanus is a very good place We had lunch at Burgundy The food was filling 5 * rating

Such an amazing trip! The whale boat trip is a must do! November was still a great time to see them. (We saw 4 whales, one of which was a baby) Lous our tour guide was great. Very informative even to people who have lived here their whole lives.

It was an amazing tour with Charles. He is a great tour guide. We saw a lot of whales in Hermanus. The city Hermanus is really beautiful with his little market and promenade. I can really recommend this tour.

I had a wonderful time seeing Hermanus! It was rainy and windy so we did not get to go out on the boats to go whale watching, but it was an absolutely beautiful area nonetheless. The guide was very informative and friendly, and made sure he answered any questions we had along the way.

The views were amazing and our guide Louis was phenomenal, he filled the journey with great facts to keep us entertained between stops and I had a great time, he also had amazing information on the bizarre animals I found in hermanus during the break. I went for the optional whale boat tour aswell which I’d recommend, but you can 100% see the whales from the shore up close too. I’d fully recommend doing this tour if you have a day off in Cape Town. Sadly I can’t upload videos which is mainly what I took of the whales but well worth seeing for yourself.

We did the Hermanus whale watching and winery tour, with our guide Charles. He was very knowledgeable throughout the journey from Cape Town to Hermanus. We had a couple of stops on the way there, one an hour in at a farm shop for breakfast and coffee and another stop at a view point. We wanted to do the boat tour which was fully booked for a few weeks, but when we were picked up Charles told us he had pre booked several seats on a different boat for any of us that wanted to do that. We saw two adult southern right whales and their calves up close which was wonderful as well as several in the distance. We also saw lots of seals. After, we had an hours free time to get food and wonder around Hermanus which was plenty of time. We also got to see the whales from the land in the distance. Overall, it was a lovely day and we enjoyed being driven through the beautiful scenery whilst stopping on the way home at another lovely farm shop with shops and sitting area.

Excellent tour, the weather was not good that day, but still nice experience, good taste of wines and an excelent guide Louis.

Was a good trip, eventhough the whales didn’t say hello. But the information, the place and the wine tasty was excellent.

Super drive with Brahm!! We saw a lot of whales. They even jumped 20m away of the boat. Hermanus is a very nice little town. Unfortunately we had only 45 min to take a look. We found there a nice book store with used books it was fantastic and we board some old ones. The shop is called Hemingway - worth a visit.
