When a tour guide has a great sense of humor and has passion for what they are showing it makes for a great time. The wrong guide can ruin a trip and the right guide makes even a mediocre trip memorable. We had the best of both. Take the cable car to the top for breathtaking views. Alessandro is knowledgeable and brings the area to life. For an added bonus be sure to ask Alessandro to show you some of the more fascinating animals to be found in the Dolomites, including the feared Chupa Sangre :) We very highly recommend Alessandro as the best of the best in terms of private tours in the Dolomites.

Alex is a great tour guide who made a good suggestion for us to change the date of tour due to bad weather. Eventually, we enjoyed both eastern and western tours in perfect weather conditions so that we can see the best of Dolomities. Highly recommended!

The views were incredible. Took dozens of photos and made as many memories. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. If you’re looking to hike, do not do the all day tour - it is designed so that you can truly see everything noteworthy in just one day, and you’ll be out of the car a good amount, but there is a lot of driving. Can cross this off the bucket list, but surely want to go back and do a hike or two in these fantastic mountains.

Alex was absolutely fantastic and we couldn't have been more pleased with the tour. My family had only one day to spend in the Dolomites and we feel we had the best possible experience within our limited time frame. Alex is a local from the area and knows exactly the right places to bring you and the right times to avoid crowds/traffic. He offers a very full day that includes the major sights, and he is also flexible and can tailor the schedule to your preferences. For instance, we passed a castle that caught our eye and he squeezed in a quick stop for us to see it. In short, we wholeheartedly recommend taking a tour with Alex!

The entire trip was more than perfectly organized and extremely well-conducted by a very friendly and well-structured guide named Alessandro. Everything was very safe and informative and Alessandro is just the guide to book for the Dolomites. Alessandro taught us a lot and he used every single minute to share his knowledge. He was also very entertaining by sharing many interesting facts and stories as well as unusual and astonishing anecdotes. However, he also gave us enough time to spend on our own, but he was always there to help and to instruct or to inform. We would say you would not be able to get any better guide than Alessandro. We will definitely do more trips with him in the future.

Our family had such an amazing day with Alessandro. We saw the 5 main spectacular lakes, and drove all the way up to the peak. We crammed so much in over the 10 hours. Alessandro was an amazing driver and tour guide full of information. Thank you for making our day so enjoyable 🙂

My husband and I took the "Private panoramic tour in auto Il meglio delle Dolomiti in un solo giorno" tour and we were very satisfied. It was a very good tour with beautiful scenery. Our guide, Matteo, was excellent, very attentive, polite, drove carefully and securely, and had a lot of knowledge of the region and of points of interest. He showed us and explained all the interesting aspects of the route we took, and seemed to be striving to give us the best experience. He left us at ease to make the most of it and take beautiful photos. It couldn't be better. I recommend this tour!

This tour has been one of the best experiences of our lives! We were a group of three students studying in Italy who wanted to experience the dolomites. Even before we met, Alessandro was friendly and accommodating over emails and texts, and swiftly organised a tour on our preferred date. The moment we met Alessandro early in the morning, he was immediately friendly and approachable. While the weather was far from ideal, his optimism was absolutely contagious and this really reassured us and set the tone for what was to come that day. As we drove out of Bolzano into the picturesque mountains, his knowledge and passion for this area was evident straight away - telling us about the history, about the recent tornadoes affecting the land, he knew every name of everything and also entertained us with the many stories during his time as a guide. However, throughout the tour, he'd also know exactly when to let us get some rest or when to give us some down time as we drove from location to location. Alessandro's driving was absolutely flawless, having driven for many years, and as someone who suffers from car sickness, I could not have asked for a smoother ride despite the windy bends and steep inclines. He also had at the ready anything we might've needed including travel sickness gum, umbrellas, extra coats, bottles of water, which were all very useful especially on that cold rainy day! Despite the amount of landmarks we had to fit in one day, we never felt rushed, and it was completely up to us how long we wanted to spend in each area, and even for the routes we took, Alessandro gave us plenty of options and flexibility. He also had a book on the animals of the area, a photo book showing the locations we were at in different seasons and climates, and some incredible artifiacts from the dolomites which I will not spoil in this review! I cannot recommend Alessandro and this tour more if you'd like to see the Dolomites, though we did not have access to car rental to drive around for ourselves, I would choose this experience everytime! The tour enhances all the sights you see and completely immerses you into the beauty of this incredible region. Grazie mille Alessandro, è stato un grande piacere e spero di rivederti!

This full day tour of the Dolomites was a "high-point" of our trip to Italy! Alessandro provided much knowledge and love of the Dolomites, and was able to share so much information about the area as he escorted us through the beautiful mountains. He was very willing to allow us the time to do photography in the areas we were most interested in, and even was able to pick us up at our hotel. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who would like to experience the Dolomites in a comfortable, safe and informative tour, with a friendly, knowledgable escort!!

Italy Dolomites - Alessandro (Alex) Scacchetti was our guide for the Best of the Dolomites in Just One Day tour and it was the highlight of our two weeks in Germany and Italy. If you have a full day, this is definitely the tour to book. Alex is very knowledgeable and an amazing and safe driver. You'll have a few stops to get out and stretch your legs and have a meal and photo opportunities are at every turn. This is a must do if in the Dolomites! Alessandro was professional, knowledgeable and very likeable! He picked us up at our Air BNB for a full day of Dolomites sightseeing. He took us to all of the breathtaking sites and it was a day to remember for sure.

Alex was phenomenal, as experienced travelers who use tours- Alex was by far the best! He was punctual, organized and coordinated the perfect day. Alex also provides historical information about the sites, which adds to the experience. This is our first time to the region and we highly recommend the private tour. Absolutely fantastic day spent being toured round the Dolomites by Alessandro. My friend and I were overwhelmed when trying to sort an itinerary for our Dolomites trip and this trip provided an excellent overview of the highlights and provided lots of inspiration for trips back in the future. Alessandro was knowledgable about so many different subjects - history of the region, the geography, the best places to eat and drink and went out of his way to ensure we were at each stop for the best time to avoid queues and crowds. 10/10 recommendation. The next time I’m back in Italy I’ll be going straight to Alessandro for his advice and tour guiding!

This tour was delay 2 times by COVID but it was worth the wait, The Dolomites are spectacular and well worth seeing. Alex was an excellent guide and keep us safe on busy roads. He was also flexible and added a couple on additional stops at our request. We had an unforgettable day and Alex is an exceptional driver and guide. A highlight was seeing the pink colour of the Dolomities late in the day with one one else around.

What an amazing tour!! Alex drove us around the most beautiful sites around the Dolomites. He also explained to us the history of the town. It made us appreciate the tour more. Alex was very professional but also very personable. He even had a cup of cappuccino with us. I cannot wait to go back with my family and friends. Definitely worth it!

Our tour guide Alessandro is personable, speaks fluent English, is highly knowledgeable of South Tyrol and led us on a wonderful tour of the western Dolomites along the old Dolomite road. We would definitely do another tour of his when we return to the region.
