Mael was very knowledgeable and provided information in an interesting and engaging way. He was supportive of my mobility issues and adjusted the pace climbing the stairs at Mont St Michel so I was able to keep up relatively easily

I highly recommend this tour. Our guide Valentine provided us with a high level of detail that brought to life centuries of history of this beautiful world heritage sight. He covered all aspects of the site’s origin and pivotal historical events that shaped and reshaped into what it is today. His archaeological background was a big plus. Five stars across the board.

Parking in Mont Sant Michel is no longer a problem as there is now a huge car park served by very fast free shuttles that take you to the entrance, across the bridge over the bay. The lines are long but flowing. Having your own or rental car it is therefore cheaper to opt for a local guide. Apart from this evaluation, the visit was pleasant and relaxing, despite the place being really full of tourists, because our guide (Ilia) gave us all the best advice for getting around and we were able to visit the abbey skipping a queue that seemed endless.
