New Orleans is a blast. The food and music and nightlife are world class. The only complaint I have is that there are many areas that don't seem quite safe late at night. We stayed in the FQ for the majority of our stay. There was a substantial and appreciated police presence. Sad that it is required but C'est la vie. Be aware, be safe, stay in the tourist districts. Take the ferry across the river. $2.00. Get a beer, cruise back. Cheap fun.

The tour was great! Shannon and Josie make a great team. Shannon was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of historical facts about the city that he obviously loves! He answered questionable comments and queries by some of the tourists professionally and with a little wry humor. Overall, an enjoyable hour tour that covered a lot of area we would not have seen on our own. Thanks, Shannon!

Short 1-hour tour packed with a lot of information from Jonathan. Learned things about the French Quarters and New Orleans not spoken about on the Hop On bus. Not as cheap as the city bus, but nice and worth the price. Kate, the mule, is beautiful and strong to pull the 9 passengers on the buggy. Go Kate!!

Our guide was full of local stories and history as we rode along behind Praline the mule. He had a wonderful sense of humor. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this excursion.

I really enjoyed the carriage tour, and it was very, very informative about the local history. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the stories associated with the French Quarter.

We really enjoyed our tour with Mark and his amazing mule Cole. Mark knew so much history of the area and had lots of stories to share. The tour was really made so much more enjoyable with Mark as our guide. He had a lot of tidbits of info you can’t find in guidebooks!!!

Excellent, entrusting entertaining & informative driver. I'm sorry I didn't get her name(middle age lady, brown hair & glasses). She AND the gentleman who seemed to be "in charge" (standing by the carraiges) were extremely helpful prior to the ride assisting me about what was where to "kill time" before departure. Lovely excursion. As an animal advocate I pray the animals are treated with care. (I saw no reason they weren't, yet one hears horrible stories about work animals at tourist sites).

We really enjoyed our ride. It was the first thing we did in the city. We took my 87 year old mother and it was a great way for her to see some sights without walking.

We have been to NOLA many times and have never done any tours. Learned so much about its history! A little bumpy at times related to the streets in bad condition in some areas.

Enjoyed hearing about the different cultures. Tour driver was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating.

It was a good chance to view the city of New Orleans. In my opinion, the mule looks kind of tired but as per the driver, mule/horse goes on break and doesn’t work no more than 7 hours and 7months out of the year. I don’t know if I would do it but recommended it.

Marty was an exceptional guide and the carriage was very comfortable. Blazestar was working hard not to mess up her new shoes.

Mark and his mule Cole were great. Knowledgeable and we learned a lot! The tour was the right amount of time and the location and drop off was perfect.

We had an absolute wonderful time with this tour. The weather could not have been better but our tour guide Marty was great. We took the hour long tour and it was great to see another neighborhood like Marigny from New Orleans. I can't recommend this tour enough. And the whole process booking via tripadvisor/viatour was easy.

Lucy was amazing with pointing out the various interesting/historical locations. Explaining the culture previous to present. It was definite great morning tour.

Very educational and fun, loved going in the early morning, had ride all to myself with my partner. Tour guide was very nice and fun at same time. Definitely worth money spent.

Very informative tour (though the guide was a bit too loquacious). Not extremely responsive as I had hoped to switch to a later tour but did not receive a reply. All in all, a good start of the New Orleans visit.
