This was about my 4th time out with Blue Dolphin. I took my visitor - Michelle- from S.A. with me. We loved the boat, the crew, seeing the whales of course and captain Pete's friendly but professional tour guiding. They also served a wonderful chicken, cold meats and salad lunch. I shall return Blue Dolphin!

5 stars are actually not enough. A once in a lifetime experience as it should be. Due to the captain's immense experience, we had the pleasure of having the cow and calf swim right past our boat. Always first keep enough distance from the whales, which then came to us on their own. And since we were at sea all day on this trip, we were alone for lunch. To top it all off, there was also the jumping of the calf, although the captain always knew exactly when it would happen due to his experience. An incredible experience. Plus the excellent service on board with lots of food and drink. I would book it again immediately.

The entire trip was wonderful, Peter and crew were so thoughtful, food was really good, but the whales were fantastic, we were on a pod for 2 hours and they just performed. Altogether one of the best days ever

Amazing day organised by Pete and Anika. Guides were very knowledgable and professional. Food and snacks were delicious and plentiful. Plenty of sightings of humpbacks, dolphins, turtles and dugongs. Boat was very tidy and spacious, and toilet was spotless. We were treated to a sail home which topped the amazing day.

Very well designed and executed excursion. The 9 outs trip is on board a ship that uses wind when possible, making the experience very pleasant. It covers a huge area so you maximise the number of encounters with whales, while providing a great views to Fraser Island. The crew is helpful and fantastic. They provide coffe, tea and food pecking every now and then and a nice lunch around 1 pm. There is a lot of chance involved in this type of trips. In October the place was packed with mother and calves performing al sort games and jumps. The captain made sure we did cautious approaches to many many pairs and small groups. Best whale experience by far after trips in Hawai, Canada and Norway.

The best trip we’ve done in Australia! Seeing the whales was amazing and we learnt so much about them and their behaviour during the day. We saw so many whales! We were so lucky to watch a mother bring her calf right up to the boat, and saw another pair breaching for about twenty minutes. It was amazing. The crew were wonderful and have such a passion for these creatures. There were so many snacks throughout the day and lunch was 10/10. It was worth the extra money to have more time on the water to see so many whales, which are clearly thriving in this marine park. Having a smaller group was great so you could get a good view and get to know others on the trip. Highly recommend, don’t hesitate to book.

Going on this tour was the realisation of a 30 year dream and I couldn't have picked a better company to go with. Our captain really cared about providing us with a great experience and there was plenty of room to move around for viewing during the action. Our hostess also took wonderful care of us by supplying us regularly with food and drink, as well as catering to my special dietary requirements. We had a mother and baby calf circle our yacht and saw whales breaching. It was everything I'd hoped for!

The most amazing experience of my trip to Australia so far. The crew did an incredible job to make us have the best tour. The food was delicious and very abundant. We saw so many whales and doing so many different things. It was really worth it! Thank you so much for everything!!

Fabulous whale watching tour. This is my 3rd trip with Blue Dolphin and I will be back again. Boat is a great size, not crowded and you are really close to the water. Very informative and the whole day ran smoothly. Highly recommend this tour. We saw lots of whales.

Another awesome trip with the Blue Dolphin. We've been going with these guys for 20 years and obviously we are biased but each year presents something different in our experience. We notice there are more regulars joining us each year so I guess it's not just us that thinks Blue Dolphin is a great way to experience the whales of Hervey Bay. I have just returned from my second trip with year with Blue Dolphin and, as always it exceeds expectations. I have done this tour for the last 10 years and each time Peter and the crew go out of their way to ensure we get to experience amazing whale encounters and lovely refreshments - you won't go hungry on this trip. I was therefore surprised to see a scathing review from Tonia S - I was on the same trip and had a fabulous day (as did all the other guests) with great whale encounters, including a singing whale. Tonia S was extremely rude to crew and fellow guests from the minute she stepped on board - thank goodness we won't encounter her on any future tours.

A huge thanks to Blue Dolphin Marine Tours. Their service and hospitality was fantastic. Could not fault the amazing time we had out on the water off Fraser Island whale watching and also some pretty close from these beautiful sea mammals.

The experience is unique. The catamaran is ecofriendly for the very creatures you are going to see. The whales can come so close. The friendly atmosphere and constant snacks and meals mean that you only need to relax, enjoy the trip and see all the antics of the many different whale interactions. Booking with Jodie is a delight. Traveling with Peter and Anica means you have all the info you can absorb and there are often experts on board as a bonus. The small group and constant refreshments and care is the reason we have chosen Blue Dolphin to go with many times and will continue to choose to go on many more trips into the future. My wife and I love going because there is no better trip for us. Each trip is unique and Blue Dolphin are unique.

Blue Dolphin Marine Tours provided THE BEST whale watching tour! Pete was our sensational skipper and provided commentary about K’Gari, whales and other marine life throughout the tour! He made everyone feel relaxed and we benefited from his many years of knowledge! Jodie was brilliant in the lead up to the tour providing all the necessary information and answering our questions and coordinating accommodation pick up/drop offs. Whilst on board Annika was amazing and ensured all guests were regularly fed or had a tea/coffee nearby - her photography skills and tips were also very appreciated! Hands down the best day on the water with the whales (and dolphins and eagle ray!)

Pete and Anika were absolutely fantastic and their knowledge that they shared was great. They new how to get close enough to the whales and when to leave them alone, which was very reassuring. Blue Dolphin Tours are and will always be the only company I will be recommending.
