A perfect way to see the sights! This private tour with Fatima cost our family far less than the large group excursion from our Celestyal cruise. Fatima is so cheerful and knowledgeable and tailored the tour perfectly to both the parents and children in our group. We have 5 young children and wanted to focus on the Protestant Biblical sites, and she did a great job explaining the history and Turkish culture in great detail but quickly so that we could arrive back to the ship with plenty of time. The van with a friendly driver was such an easy way to get around. She allowed us time to stop and mark our Bibles at various sites, which would not have been possible in the large cruise-ship herd. As a mom herself, she understood the speed at which young children move and accommodated us beautifully. I booked this tour very last minute, solwishI had time to review the schedule with Fatima to ensure that we went to the actual Temple of Artemis location. We viewed it from above, but we would have liked to have actually walked on the site. But that was my oversight-no fault of Fatima's at all. Also, while we learned a lot from the visit to the rug-making co-op (our children sat with the weavers), in retrospect we would have likely preferred to use that time to see another site such as Mary's house. The rug store is an experience, and be prepared to negotiate to buy a rug. While Fatima sweetly assured me that we had no obligation to buy anything, after tea and the host's kindness, we still felt we were expected to buy something. The rugs are beautiful and a lovely reminder of our visit, but just add it into your mental budget in advance so that you are not surprised or spend more than you want to. This is an incredible tour and one of our favorite memories, thanks to Fatima.

Dilek was a wonderful guide. She suggested activities that we were unaware of and accommodated our requests. We had amazing tours of Mary's house, Ephesus and a carpet weaving business. We also did a little shopping in Kusadasi. Thank you, Dilek for an awesome day in Turkey!

This tour was amazing! We had the best tour guide, Ali, and he took us to all the best spots in and around Ephesus. St John’s Basilica, ruins of Ephesus, and the temple of Artemis just to name a few. He was extremely nice and very knowledgeable about it all. The Turkish lunch was an added extra and it was DELICIOUS! The absolute sweetest watermelon ever. And he has us back at our cruise boat with plenty of time to spare. I would highly recommend this tour from this tour company!

We had a great time with our guide Ismail. He was very knowledgeable and explained all of the highlights on the tour but at the same time provided us with ample time to take pictures and even helped us take pictures so our group was in the pictures all the time. Too often when you do a tour you feel rushed or feel the tour guide using up all the time to explain things but we never felt that way about him. I would definitely recommend him to every one who wants to see Ephesus and Meryemana.

Ismail was a wonderful guide. The morning of our tour was raining, which would have made the tour of Ephesus difficult. As the weather was forecasted to clear a little later, he arranged for us to visit the Turkmen Carpet Weaving cooperative first & have an authentic Turkish lunch at the restaurant on site. He helped facilitate my partner’s vegetarian lunch. The weather did clear & we were able to tour Ephesus. Ismail gave interesting history & background to various sites along the tour. He also gave us the information to check out the frescos & mosaics in the Terrace Houses, currently under excavation. If you plan to tour Ephesus, have Ismail as your guide. The day tour package from Istanbul was easy to follow with door to door pick up & drop off from our hotel to Istanbul’s other airport. Thanks to Ismail for an amazing & unforgettable experience!

If you are fortunate enough to be travelling to Turkey, do yourself a most important favor and use this local agency. The tour was fantastic! We managed to pack so much in and see so many sights that it was amazing! Each day was jam packed and at the end when we returned to the Cruise I really felt like that I'd had a brilliant, worthwhile day. . I would recommend Ismail and his company to cruisers. This was THE BEST CRUISE TOUR EVER!

This tour company is the best! We sailed in to Kusadasi on Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of Seas. We have cruised many times and prefer to find private tours versus booking excursions through RC. We like having a local guide to get the true flavor of the area. Fatma was amazing! She knew there there tons of ships in and lots of group bus tours. She made sure we were ahead of the huge groups all day and was extremely knowledgeable. Her English is also great! We visited Mary’s House, Ephesus ruins, and lunch was fantastic! We were thrilled with our tour and especially sweet Fatma! We had a group of 4. We hope to come back someday and hire Best Turkey Tour and Fatma to see more of Turkey!

Take this tour if you have never been here, it was our 4th time and would have loved to see things other that the top 3 , I was looking for things off the beaten path… overall it was flexible based on the set menu of things

It was one of my favorite tours. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about turkey. The best part is she is a local so you can get accurate information. If there was something that you didn't want to do you can skip what ever you don't want to see. She took us to see Ephesus, Mary's house, temple of Artemis and to get some authentic turkey food. I would I highly recommend this tour. If I could I would give it a 10/10.

AMAZING TOUR! Tour guide (Fatima) was super informative and the transportation was clean with great AC. Personally, the restaurant was my favorite part. The food was amazing.

The whole Ephesus tour experience was so great with Fatima as our tour guide! She gave us vivid explanation of each attraction and also left us sufficient time for self exploration. The group is also pretty small with only 6 people in total which is what my friend and I preferred. The lunch place Fatima took us to was great with authentic food only homemade. At the end of the tour, she also offered the service of dropping us off at the bus station for us to go to our next stop : Izmir. All in all, highly recommend!

My partner and I had an amazing time with Fatma during this tour! She was incredibly kind and knowledgable. She made us feel comfortable throughout and brought us to a local restaurant for lunch. 10/10 will book them again.
