I had an amazing diving experience with Coconut Divers in Cancun, located right by Playa Tortugas. The boat captain and crew were professional, ensuring a smooth sail to the stunningly clear Cancun reefs. Our multilingual guide was fantastic, offering clear communication in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. We enjoyed two spectacular dives, each showcasing vibrant marine life and diverse coral formations. Just got back from a trip to Cancun and are dives with Coconut Divers were the highlight! Their entire staff was amazing. We have done trips with a lot of different outfits and this was the most personalized experience because they keep the dive groups small. Something you don’t often get at some of the larger dive shops. Their guides are very knowledgeable about the area, personable and patient. We could not have asked for a better experience!

These guys are so amzing. I contacted them before coming to Cancun and they explianed all things I need in advance. All staffs speak Englishish well, so there's no problem to comunicate. Underwater condition is quite good. I didn't expect much cause many people recommend Cozumel for diving not Cancun. However, I saw many eagle rays, jackfish schools, lobsters, maray eels, barracudas and so on. It's worth to experience while you're staying in Cancun. Date of experience: February 2024

Excellent experience, we went to see a shipwreck and we were lucky to see some stingrays eels and sharks. The company is really professional all the Staff Alex, Ulises, Gonzalo and Ricardo are really kind and treat you like family. This is my favorite Padi Center 5 stars

We found this dive company when we were walking by the sidewalk didn’t expect much, but when we went inside the staff and crew treat us exceptionally well we did four dives. All four dives were excellent. Great staff very safe. Had a great time would recommend going back, and I will return.

Ulysses was our dive master and Richard was our boat captain. They took my wife and I on a first class dive trip to the MUSA underwater museum and a very nice reef. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail and our needs. We have been on dive trips all over the world, including Palau, Truk Lagoon, Great Barrier reef, Hawaii, Caribbean, etc.. We would very highly recommend diving with this group. Fred & Gina Pinney

I went with a friend to Coconut Divers in Cancun who was wanting to obtain her AOW.I was so impressed with the instructors who have combined over 30000 dives who made her so comfortable she lost all her anxiety and stress Their knowledge of the dive sites gave us the dive experience of a lifetime. I am a rescue diver having more than 175 dives and I can honestly say my experience with them was on my top 5 dives. She was so impressed with this shop she signed up for another course with them. I would say if you want to experience world class diving look up Alex and Eunice for the dive experience of a lifetime

Coconut Divers offer friendly, professional and a fun dive experience. Alex the base leader was was super friendly when we checked in. Our dive master Gonzalo was also so friendly and professional. A great dive master who really engaged with us om the boat and on the dive. Ulysses was fantastic and took my partner snorkeling and showed him so much marine life. Our boat captain was great and the photographer really captures some fantastic photographs that are well worth taking home. As a pro diver myself this was one of the best dive shop experiences all round!!

I took the advanced license course and the experience is amazing. Our instructor, Gonzalo is super friendly and we learned a lot from him. Alan and the staff are very helpful and communicative. Definitely will come back for more dives in the future.

I have just returned home after doing another excellent series of dives with Alex and his team at Coconut Divers. I have been diving with Coconut Divers for the past 10 years and will always go to them anytime I’m in Cancun. They will not let you down and unless the weather is really bad or it’s a Saturday then you will be guaranteed to get a dive. Previously I had tried a couple of others dive operators in Cancun but had been let down at very short notice, they usually would say it was weather related but in reality it was because they were short of numbers, whereas with Coconut I have been on solo dives many a time along with my guide. This makes a big difference as I live in Scotland so am always on a tight schedule. Over the years I have probably had over 100 dives with them and I am still amazed at the variety of dive sites and the skills of the guys . As an example last week we were diving a site and there was quite a strong current, Captain Ricardo managed to spot the exact location to drop us to make the site. There were 3 other dive companies there as well and we were the only ones that didn’t overshoot the site. Big shout out to Ulysses and Gonzalo too, they are the dive master/guides and will make sure you are safely suited up and help you with all your equipment. Everybody speaks great English. They cater for all standards from Advanced to beginners and they also do snorkelling trips . They also do trips to the senotes which is well worth trying. I cannot recommend Coconut divers enough and am pleased to be able to call all of them good friends.

Diving reef, wrecks, night dive were all great. Ricardo is THE BEST captain in Cancun! Ulises is THE BEST divemaster in Cancun!

We did the cavern dives, wreck dives, and reef dives with coconut divers- such a great experience! Great crew, and the diving was amazing. Love that it’s a locally owned and operated shop with a long standing crew that is genuinely passionate about diving.

Have been diving here for 20 years and will hopefully be diving for many more to come. Always a pleasure working with the Coconut Divers Crew!
