What is the best way to see the Matterhorn? Very easy to answer. Fly by Para!! My husband and I chose to go tandem paragliding with Julio and Erik at FlybyPara during our two days trip to Zermatt and we are so happy that we did! We were lucky enough to have a clear day and to see the Matterhorn when we arrived to Zermatt town from Lausanne. (Trust me, the weather in Zermatt and Switzerland is soooooo unpredictable as it indeed changes multiple times during the day) I was literally looking into MetteoSwiss app every day to check the weather during our entire trip to Switzerland. We called Julio about an hour prior to our arrival at Zermatt and we are happy that we booked our first ever paragliding with Julio at FlybyPara! Even if it was on such a short notice, Julio called me back to notify that they would be able to fly both of us on the day of our arrival. And our experience with them? Two thumbs up!!! From the exciting beginning of flight briefing provided by Julio at the the Zermatt terminal, once in a life time paragliding with the amazing view of the Matterhorn and the safe landing on the ground at the end, it was a truly memorable and indescribable experience! My husband who flew with Erik obviously had a wonderful time of flying as shown in the attached pictures and Julio was a great pilot who always helped me manage my anxiety symptoms before the take off and during the flight. Put simply, it is impossible not to feel humbled by the beauty of Switzerland’s most famous mountain(unless you’re unlucky enough to get a cloudy day, in which case you might not see the peak at all) and if you would like to make your trip to this beautiful town of Zermatt more special, look no further, but book with Julio at FlybyPara! They are fun, professional and quite understanding and I strongly recommend them for anyone interested in paragliding in Zermatt. Julio pulled out all the stops. He really tried his every effort to make this paragliding session happen as we had some ski lifts closed in the morning meaning we couldn’t fly then. Julio was a kind man and made me feel assured with the whole experience. Would recommend this company 10/10.

ERIC AND JULIO ARE AMAZING!! I have an extreme fear of heights, yet they both made me feel beyond safe from take off to landing. I felt like a butterfly!!!

This was an absolutely incredible experience. I had such an amazing time and the views were spectacular. The guides were very professional and helped ease any nerves of the experience. 10/10 a must try and a bucket list activity.

It's my first paragliding and Julio and team is the best! I came across their booth when i came out of the train station, and there we met our very helpful and friendly pilot Julio. The view of the matterhorn, the mountains, the valley, the little houses and u can even catch a sight of mountain goats, its just fantastic. The pilots did some stunts to make our flight a more exciting one! All in all, its a wonderful experience, we know we are in safe hands and the landing is also superbly smooth. Julio is a star! I booked a solo trip a few months out and he was extremely communicative along the entire way. Note you need to be a bit flexible for weather and Julio made sure we had perfect flying conditions meaning we changed the times a bit. I think all guests would rather have a great experience than a bad one at a prearranged time! This was so much fun… I skied the first half the day and then we met on top the mountain. We started and ended the paragliding journey on skis! How cool is that?! This was an absolute blast and something I will never forget. Boon today with Flybypara!
