We had an incredible day flyfishing in the Andes mountains. Going up the mountains on the way to Valley De Uco we enjoyed the view of Embalse Potrerillos and the majestic view of the Andes. After arriving to La Quebrada de El Condor we got prepared for a very special day of fishing. Our tour guides Daniel and Agustin were very helpful, kind and accommodating. My husband and I were guided by Agustin, who shared with us his wonderful skills and was incredibly helpful. We enjoyed a very special day in a beautiful place, listening to the sound of the mountain stream, seeing condors and catching trout. An amazing experience. At the end of the adventure, we were treated to a delicious lunch prepared by a great chef, Hugo. Thank you for making this tour possible and thank you to Agustin and all the team for all you do to make it so special. We highly recommend this tour.

This was the first time my boyfriend and I had been fly fishing and our guide Pablo made it a wonderful experience. Literally every detail was perfect. From communication and payment options, prompt pickup and drop off, excellent English translation, fun fishing experience with great instruction to ending the day with a delicious meal in the mountains. If you’re thinking about it, do it! Highlight of our trip.

We were novices and our guides Pablo and Augustin were extremely patient, and really wanted us to have a great experience and catch fish. We saw amazing scenery, and saw some guanacos (mini llama type animals). Note that the lunch was more of a charcuterie board - not an asado lunch, but it was delicious

We did two days with Trout and Wine including wine tasting and fly fishing. It was AMAZING!! Renzo, our guide for the wine tasting was the best. We would go with him any day! The fly fishing made us want more. We would use Charlie and his team again!

Charlie managed to put together a wonderful day for me and my husband. Only my husband wanted to fly fish, so he found another guide to take me trekking at the same estancia. Perfect day for both of us. He also managed to book horseback riding at the last minute and took me wine shopping on the way back to the hotel - amazing service! Super easy to deal with and seems to be able to make any activity happen in the Mendoza area.

The Andes in Mendoza are incredible. It is evident that the air there is purer and the landscapes breathtaking. Sergio, our guide, is an expert and a great person. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience. I would go back a thousand times!

It was just as described: stalking small trout in a mountain stream at the estancia La Quebrada del Condor. We hiked quite a ways up the valley and I even got to see my first condor! And how can one not enjoy a fantastic asado afterwards.

Truly unique fishing experience for brook and rainbow trout. Very small stream, crystal clear water and surprisingly sizeable fish in lovely pools as you walk up the valley. Would highly recommend! Great BBQ at the end and our guide for the day was fantastic

My wife and I went fly fishing with Sergio back in December (our second time with him!) and had a blast. The ranch that we went to, La Quebrada del Condor, was gorgeous and offered a remote and peaceful setting. The drive up to the ranch alone was amazing. Once there, we set out up the stream and sight fished for trout. We had a great day and at the end we had a delicious asado back at the main house. Would highly recommend!

I cannot recommend this tour enough!! This was the highlight of our trip. You are picked up and taken to a private ranch located at the bottom of the Andes mountains, then hike (not difficult) to a beautiful stream located in the valley of the mountains. We had the best guide (Pablo Matthews - with Pioneros Flyfishing - they contract with Trout and Wine), who was so patient teaching me how to fly fish for the very first time. Both my husband and I caught multiple trout. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Pablo was so thoughtful and even had extra jackets for us because it was unexpectedly cold on the mountain. Pablo also took photos of us the entire time, which was so nice. We will treasure the photos forever! We opted to add on horseback riding and I am so happy we did. It is not your typical follow in a line horseback riding.. we rode the horses up and down the smaller mountains!! I have never done anything like that in my life. It was thrilling and another incredible way to see the mountains/views. We felt safe the entire time. After fishing and horseback riding, we had a delicious asada barbeque and beer/wine. The food was excellent. I am so happy we did this excursion. It was the perfect way to explore the Andes mountains and break up our many wine tastings during the trip.Tip - wear hiking shoes! 10/10 would recommend!!

Some farmed & wild trout fishing, which is a bit of a lark but the scenery and brutally rustic bbq were sensational. Ripping time. Pro-tip: they do supply wine but you can certainly bring along a couple of bottles of magnificent Argie red yourself. Makes the bbq even better.

Wow. I don't even know if I can put into words how special our tour with Sergio was. My fiance and I both agree that this will go down as one of the best days of our lives. My fiance worked closely with Charlie to arrange our tour. We originally wanted just a fly fishing tour, but then decided on doing horseback riding followed by fly fishing. Sergio, our guide, picked us up directly at our hotel, Casa Glebinias. Immediately he was energetic and friendly, and honestly just felt like a long time friend. We drove about an hour and a half up the mountain to La Quebrada Del Condor. The most breathtaking little rustic finca in the Andes. We knew the day would be special, but the second we arrived at La Quebrada Del Condor, we realized just how special it would be. We were greeted by Don Kato, the finca owner, and Nadia, our horseback riding guide. Nadia brought us to the stable and we soon took off into the mountains on horseback. If you ever want to feel like you're in a movie, do this horseback riding tour! We saw gauchos herding cattle, large condors swooping around the mountains, and rode all the way to the top of mountain to see the most breathtaking views I have ever witnessed. Nadia routed us right down to the river where Sergio, our fly fishing guide, was waiting for us. My fiance is a seasoned fisherman, but I needed a little help with my casting. Sergio was incredibly patient and a wonderful teacher. The creek and all of its landscape was absolutely breathtaking. The entire day felt so relaxed and rejuvenating. There was no stress or pressure while fishing... We were just enjoying being in nature and experiencing all of the beauty around us. Lucky for us, we were able to catch a few brook trout to make the day perfect! After our tour, we had lunch at the finca. We had amazing local wine and a delicious meal. Don Kato, Nadia, and Sergio all made sure our plates and our glasses were never empty! I 10/10 recommend this company and this tour. My fiance and I are already trying to figure out our next trip to Mendoza so we can experience another Trout and Wine tour. Thank you, Charlie and team, for making our day so special!

We went on the full day fly fishing trip. We’d never fly fished before and had a great day with their help caught plenty of trout. Pablo & Guillermo picked us up in a 4wd and we drove into the beautiful Andes from Mendoza to the private estancia. Besides the fishing, the asado lunch, seeing real gauchos at work in the hills and the guides really made the day. A highlight of our trip, highly recommend!

Our guide, Sergio, was friendly and welcoming. He picked us up at our house (lucky because our phones had the wrong time and alarms didn't go off). Sergio was absolutely fantastic adapting to our slightly late departure and told us about his life and family in mendoza and some of the customs, practices and history of the area. The property we travelled to was absolutely stunning, words and pictures cannot do it justice. We had never fly fished before but sergio had us both casting with decent success almost immediately. We must have seen a hundred trout, hooked a lot and landed a few each. The food and wine at lunch were so so good, the asado (BBQ) was amazing, and served with amazing sides, dessert, empanadas and wines specially made for the property owner. Cannot recommend highly enough, a fantastic day out, we were exhausted and totally satisfied when we finally got home!

Our guides Pablo and Sergio took us for a fabulous day of fishing, scenery viewing, and asada eating. Sergio drove; car was comfortable and safe for the 2+ hour drive. Pablo had all the fishing gear (including an extra jacket for me) and gave us a demonstration of how to fish. Both spoke excellent English and shared much information about the country, wildlife, and food. They made us feel comfortable and went all out to make sure we enjoyed the experience.

We did the full day fly fishing experience in the Uco Valley and it was top notch. It was just the two of us on a private tour. We were picked up on time at our hotel and drove down to the fishing spot. The views of the mountains near the river were amazing. We had great instruction from our guide and spent the morning fishing along the river. At lunch we went back to the cabin and had a traditional asado, which was delicious! We fished a bit more in the afternoon and caught tons of fish. We went in October, a bit chilly still weather-wise, but worth it.
