All of the family history, and information on all of their homes. Our guide was so so knowledgeable about them both. Felt I had known them my whole life! It was an awesome tour and would highly recommend. You can she loves giving the tours.

Our guide Pamela was very knowledgeable and shared some great historical facts and insights of the Medici era. We explored the town with the tour and it was all in all a very pleasant experience.

While our tour guide Gabriella was fantastic, I do wish there were some more specific content about the history of the Medici family and their patronage of the city and all the artists, etc, their styles of ruling/politics, how each Medici ruler was different or the same, relationship with the church, etc. I feel like there was a lot of info about the city itself and not as much about the family itself.

Elena was an incredible guide and helped us immerse ourselves with the history and foundations of the Medici family. I wished it included going into the villas but it definitely is a great teaser to know what to do next time we’re in Florence!

We learnt about the impact of 3 centuries of the Medici dynasty on Florence and Tuscany. We past major Medici sites and buildings. Our guide, Elena, was knowledgeable and answered all our questions.

Fantastic experience and knowledgeable tour guide! We started our tour with a fascination and some knowledge of the Medici’s and ended it with a wealth of truly fun & fascinating knowledge!! Highly recommend! Only caveat that’s unclear when you’re booking; it doesn’t include entrance to the locations like other tours on here. It’s just a walking tour of exteriors

A very informative and enjoyable tour by Francesca, which illustrated the history, architecture and culture of Florence through the fascinating story of the Medici family. Well worth doing this tour.

Our tour guide allowed us to have input for the itinerary as we were the only people on the tour. We chose to visit some of the artisan workshops that came into existence during the Medici rule that still exist today.

Our guide was extremely knowledgable and explained Florence heritage to us and it was very interesting. She cared about what she was talking about so was brilliant and interesting lovely lady

The Medici Tour with Rossella was interesting, informative and fun. Rossellas knowledge regarding the Medici and the history of Firenze was impressive!

This tour was nice it would have helped if we took at the begining of our trip not the end as we had allready visited all of the places on the tour. Our tour guide was very knowlegeable

Our guide was very knowledgeable, pleasant and patient with a whole group of older folk! Thomas(that isn’t quite right) he took the time to tell and show us odd little facts and lore about various sites. A delight!

The guided tour with Giacomo through Florence (in the footsteps of Medicis) was wonderful. The guide spoke fluent and clear German. His tour went through the whole city and was very exciting. Thanks for the great time.

Having arrived in florence and doing our own walking around, after this tour I felt like I knew the city a lot better. I am also a fan of Italian history in that city specifically, so to hear about the Medici family, how they lived how their line ended was very interesting to me. I really enjoyed the tour. and Leonardo was nice to look at as well ;-)

We did the Footsteps of medici tour yesterday in Florence which we booked through Viator and it was simply not worth the money. The tour does not immerse you in the history of the Medici family or take to to any Medici places you can’t go to yourselves. A free walking tour we did the day before in Florence was just as informative. A bitter and expensive disappointment.

My tour was cancelled because not enough people signed up. I can understand that somewhat but what really bothered me was I was not notified that it was cancelled until I showed up ready for the tour. The tour 'person' who was there organizing another tour claims he emailed me but he did not.
