This climb is not for the faint of heart, but you must do it anyway. The views from the top of the Duomo are spectacular and totally worth the climb. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and patient with those of us who were a little slower. This is a must do when in Florence

A friend recommended this tour and it was definitely worth it! we also booked very last minute and most tickets where sold out so this is a good way to get in this astonishing must do activity in florence. It’s a unique way of experiencing the duomo and the views do not disappoint. Our guide was also very friendly and knowledgeable.

Martina was a great guide — very knowledgable, friendly and full of fun antidotes about the Dome’s history within the larger context of Florence itself. She was also very helpful in establishing another tour for us, suggesting places for lunch, and even walking us to and from the offices and beyond. We had an excellent experience with Giacomo during our Climb The Cupola (Dome) Guided Tour! Giacomo was very knowledgeable, articulate, courteous, and detail oriented. He made the entire group feel comfortable and was very thoughtful of everyone as we endured the steep climb! Totally worth it and highly recommend this tour and guide!

400+ steps and totally worth it. Our tour guide was excellent. The view was great, the structure incredible. Wish I would have done it to start the trip because it gives you a good sense of the city layout, what things to see, where to go. Very happy we did it!

Durante la nostra vacanza a Firenze (tempi di Covid!) abbiamo fatto tre visite guidate organizzate da StarFlorence, di cui due con Francesca (Chiesa di Santa Croce e la Cupola del Brunelleschi ) ed una con Silvia (Palazzo Pitti). Dunque, per il Duomo la guida era Francesca ,che avevamo già incontrato il giorno prima per Santa Croce: una coincidenza molto fortunata perché, nel lasciarci, lei -con la sua consueta scioltezza di comunicazione- ci aveva dato appuntamento di fronte al negozio Lindt. INVECE ... la nostra prenotazione, venduta da Civitatis, riportava UN ERRORE,cioè dava come punto di incontro il caffè Arnold ;- ) che non esiste più!!! Ciò avrebbe potuto creare quanto meno perplessità,se non ci fosse stata Francesca. La “scalata” dei 463 (quattrocentosessantatre !) gradini non è poi stata così faticosa come temevo,con la simpatica Francesca che mi incoraggiava ed ogni tanto ci faceva “fiatare” mostrandoci gli affreschi meravigliosi o raccontandoci storie ed aneddoti. Una lunga “scalata”, ma ne valeva la pena: la vista dalla cupola è spettacolare e la nostra guida ci ha fatto apprezzare dall’alto i siti principali della meravigliosa Firenze. Il commento scherzoso di mio marito, dopo avere salito quelle rampe anguste, è che gli antichi fiorentini dovevano essere bassi, magri e con i piedi piccoli!! Scherzi a parte, una visita guidata che ci siamo goduti in ogni momento!! SOLO una visita con guida ti può far gustare fino in fondo le varie opere che stai vedendo,ne vale davvero la pena!! Estupenda visita. Martina, la guía, estuvo muy atenta y amable con todos. Sus explicaciones son interesantes y amenas además de desprender un agradecido sentido del humor. Nos sugirió también otras visitas para realizar. Mi más absoluta recomendación.
