Short individual car ride to Zhujiajiao Water Town, excellent driver. Sunny wasour guide and she was outstanding ! Very nice guide, great detailed guidance on all things we have seen. Paying a little extra to get individual transport and boat ride is worth it. Sunny advised us the day before to change the visit to early morning to avoid the holiday crowd which we appreciated a lot. 5 Star rating for Sunny !

I booked this tour as part of a week trip to Shanghai and it easily became the highlight of the experience! Our guide Annie made sure to advise us on every aspect to avoid crowds, with flexible suggestions for our preferences and keeping it all fun and relaxing. From the gardens, the boat riding and a delicious local meal, we got to do and see so much in Zhujiajiao in half a day! Totally recommended for a hassle free experience that you won't forget!

We had a fabulous tour with Sunny who provided us with detailed information about the history of the water village and the surrounding areas. We would highly recommend this activity. It would be a real shame not to experience such a unique part of Shanghai. The water ways and the beautiful old buildings provide a stark contrast to the modern Shanghai. This was our favourite tour during our stay.

It has been a fantastic trip with our guide Pan, who did an excellent job! We were a group of 7 people - the car transport has been comfortable for all of us. We had sufficient time to see all interesting places at this old town. There has been no time pressure. We recommend this tour to everyone. Sunny tours have been extremely good in conversation & organization - a perfect tour management. One of our group is not an english speaker and it has been agreed to get only an english speaking guide (so we want than help for the one not understanding) - but as a surprise Sunny organized a german speaking guide and all of us have been very relaxed in conservation then. An excellent tour. A short car trip from Shanghai, and well worth seeing. The guide / driver, Kalvin Zhang, from Sunny tours was very knowledgeable, and interesting, on Shanghai's history. Over fives hours. Kalvin is very good company.

Very good time! Annie was very helpful to show us what the local life is like. We got plenty of options to try different food, snacks and learn tradition. The Kezhi garden is beautiful and takes you into the lifestyle from decades ago. The boat ride along the river was a pleasant experience and very calm. I would highly recommend visiting!

We had the best day with Clair. She was very knowledgeable and it was such an informative and lovely trip. Thanks also for being so patient with us during our shopping & showing us the local food :) Really recommend!

Day trip is amazing, Annie is the best guide we could find, has a very good English, she is so helpful and know a lot about the history of the ancient Chinese culture. We take the ride boat and visit the Kenzhi garden. We like so much the trip, highly recommended for a scape from busy Shanghai

The trip to Zhujiajiao Water Town in Shanghai was fantastic! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We saw an array of local and traditional foods, snacks, and beautiful handicrafts, not to mention the stunning architecture - great for taking pictures. The people were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, adding to the charm of the town. A special shoutout to Sunny, our tour guide; she's knowledgeable, great at explaining local customs and history, and made communication a breeze. This was our second tour with her, and she’s consistently impressive. I’d definitely recommend Sunny to anyone looking for a tour guide in Shanghai.

Great visit! One of the best tourist attractions in Shanghai. Remember not to eat breakfast before so you can enjoy the local vendors food. Lots of tasty choices! Plus Annie is a great guide. Perfect English, really updated on everything Shanghai/China related. I firmly recommend her for your trip to Shanghai.

Such an amazing experience! Annie has a great sense of humor and is filled with knowledge and fun facts! She answered all of our questions and made us giggle from start to finish. Annie is amazing!! She was attentive, engaging and pleasant from pick-up to drop-off. The boat ride was beautiful, we toured a family garden and learned all of the history from Annie, and then we ended our trip by walking through the old streets and shopping! I would recommend this trip over and over again! We actually considered coming back for a second tour of this awesome village! The half day tour was the perfect amount of time to see everything and take your time exploring.

Annie provided a very informed and interesting tour of Zhujiajiao with lots of facts and general history of China and Chinese culture, both old and new. She is very knowledgable and provides wide context to the things you see. The town itself is narrow streets and vendors with much traditional food on offer. Delicious. The 10 minute boat ride gives beautiful views of the buildings and the Kezhi gardens are also very peaceful. Transfer from Shanghai is easy by car and included in the price. Well worth the visit.

Our target for the day was zhujiajiao water town. My family and I had a great time. We saw a variety of locations; the natural environment and the ancient historic city were both stunning. Sunny was very informative; we visited local shops, saw plenty of local street cuisine, and visited a lovely in-house garden; and last, we enjoyed an incredible boat ride at the old city. I owe Sunny a debt of gratitude that will surely lead me back to China.

Annie was a great tour guide, she was excellent in her language skills and explained every detail of important places. She was very pleasant and professional. She even helped my wife to choose some traditional Chinese outfits as well. Overall the experience was excellent and we are overwhelmed Thank you for the excellent driver who drove us back and forth.

My sister and I spent a half day with Annie touring Zhujiajio mid January. Annie picked us up on time in our hotel for a nice drive out of the city and dropped us off at a spot of our choice. The tour was interesting and informative. I highly recommend this tour next time you are in Shanghai
