Truly appreciate the details our tour guide pointed out and the sharing of different food at market. A few nice surprises we learned on the way when browsing through the market / vendors and 1 surprise impromptu tasting of a soup made me to go back and purchase a pack. Nice nice tour.

Amazing food tour with Rir Matsufuji and couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Her knowledge of Japanese food was outstanding and all the recommendations made were top notch. We were traveling with a 1 year old and we appreciated her patience and help at all times. Even our baby had a blast eating all the delicious food at the market! Once our tour was completed she even helped us with any additional tips we needed for our trip. I highly recommend Rir for this tour! We will be back soon!

Chihiro was a FANTASTIC guide. Her english was perfect as her was her knowledge of the area. She was so friendly and took our family's food preferences into account. She treated us to some off the radar special places and kept us from many of the lines we would have been stuck in. I highly recommend this tour and cannot stress the need to come hungry. You will be well fed.

What an amazing time! Our guide Rie was very knowledgable and knew exactly where to take us. Not only did we get to try fresh sashimi, but we also sampled other Japanese classics like ramen and mochi. I wish we had done this tour earlier in our trip so that we could have come back for seconds.

This tour was worth every penny. Our guide was excellent and showed us around the market which would have very overwhelming on our own. It included meals at different restaurants/vendors we would never have known to try or find. A tip is to come hungry because portion sizes are large. Our guide Chihiro was fantastic and even volunteered her time after the tour to help translate with a local knife shop owner in the market where we bought a custom knife. 10/10 would recommend.

A great tour of the outer fish market with Rie! It was great to have her guide us through the market and tell us about the history of the place as well as all the different food types around. Her enthusiasm for food was appreciated! She also kindly waited in line for the foods we were keen to try and recommended the best places to go. Our sushi lunch was also excellent. It was a great way to visit and understand more about a very busy but interesting part of Tokyo.

My husband and I had a great time with Rie. She had such great insider knowledge of the market and the produce. She was friendly and answered all our questions, and always had smile on her face. We tried a great variety of food, including some that we wouldn't have tried without the tour! 100% recommend to others!

Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and was flexible in accommodating our requests. We had a positive experience with the Fish Market Food Tour and would recommend it to anyone unfamiliar with the area.

The fish on this tour were amazing - so many tasty types of food. It's also a great opportunity to see different snack foods and understand more the food culture and cooking culture in Japan. I really enjoyed seeing all the ways the food was prepared and the vast variety of seafood on sale. There's also cool souvenirs and snacks along the way. Our guide was great at managing our group despite the crowds, and offering us the time to peruse if we were curious. She answered questions and offered great insights on what we were seeing. Highly recommend! My only suggestion - if you're a coffee drinker, grab a quick one before the tour begins, as the coffee stop is at the end of the tour (but was very worth the wait).

Our guide Chi was AMAZING! She knew everything and shared so much information, and did with a smile and great personality - my party of 3, and especially me, absolutely LOVED her!

A really great excursion. The best fish market I have seen. So many delicious looking foods. And, in typical Japanese fashion, very clean and well-presented. Our guide, Shiro, was superb. Very knowledgeable and fun to be with. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had a great experience with Ninja Food Tours. Our guide, Kaz, was great. He lived in California for 15 yrs and we are from California so the connection was great. He was friendly and knowledgeable and took us to great locations where we could try ramen, sushi, green tea, steamed buns and mochi. We had a great time in this tour and would highly recommend.

Kaz was a great tour guide! He showed us round the fish market, sharing the history as we went while stopping off at interesting shops and, of course, food stalls. The food was excellent and we left the market very full - definitely didn’t need anymore! 5 STARS

What a fantastic tour of the old market. Our guides were amazing and knowledgeable and made this experience our favorite tour in Tokyo. The included food and snacks have ruined American sushi for me and we will be returning everyday while in Tokyo to eat amazing food. Thank you for a great experience!!

You should definitely sign up for this tour. The company contacted me to let me know that I would not be able to eat all of the items on the tour because of my gluten allergy. The guide came to the market before meeting my boyfriend and me to make sure that what I could eat was gluten free. Come to the tour hungry because you will be well fed by the end! The guide was very knowledgeable and personable. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our tour of the fish market.

Our tour was wonderful! Our guide Shiro was knowledgeable and easy going! He explained some of the history of the market, got us samples of the best and most unique foods and answered all our questions. We had a great time and the food was to die for! Highly recommend!

He took us to some great spots and we didn't have to wait online. He took care of us in the extreme heat, had bags and wipes for us when we needed.
