Very thoughtful and open tour guide. She created a lovely itinerary for us (one man, one woman) and was patient when we wanted to take so many photos of the artisans and the artists. She honored our passion in photography by never rushing us through.

Our guide Amal was really terrific. She Went out of her way to make sure that we had everything that we needed and that she gave us a special tour based upon our focus. The company arranged for a brand new Mercedes sprinter for my family, and we were given a first class and knowledgeable tour of the city. The owner was really gracious and accommodating and arranged a tour of the Jewish heritage sites for us

Coca is a great guide. She took us in only 1 day to the most important places in Fez. Starting from the place where you get to know how the typical hand made crafts are made, from there we went to the jews old town, to the city center in the medina, where we visited typical shops from carpets to herbal medicine. We ate in a delicious restaurant the pasilla, olives, and other amazing and clean food. Additional to all of this, we felt very safe with her as she knows very well the place and the people. We are SO grateful she was our guide. We also asked her for help, so we could visit the Sahara dessert and Marrakesh, she recommended us a great tour as well.

Give yourself a gift and book with Fes Female Guides immediately. We booked a full day and had such an enriching, thoughtful, curated experience that we booked a 1/2 day for the next day. Our guide on the first day, Rajaa, is warm, open, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. We had many questions and learned about how the various historical leaders and politics which have woven through power dynamics, religion, and impacted architecture along the way. The more we learned and explored, the more specific our questions became and Rajaa adjusted the tour in real time to accommodate our curiosity. Kaoutar, who runs the company, is incredibly responsive, helpful, and also adjusted our plans last minute to accommodate some travel changes. Our second day was with Fousia who also is bright, fun, warm, and incredibly passionate about her country. All of the women we met through this company are! If we come back, we will make sure to have one of their guides with us on each of our days in Fes to help navigate the tiny streets and bring so much richness to our experience.

I found Kaoutar online and booked a full Fez day tour the night before. As a solo female traveller from London, I cannot recommend them enough! I was so impressed by the detailed, fantastic tour hosted by Rajae, accompanied by Nisreen in fluent English. Their passion and knowledge was evident and the service was punctual and impeccable. These girls are very friendly and professional and will definitely be introducing the rest of my family to them. The next day after the tour, Nisreen drove me and showed me routes to get from A to B within the ancient Madina and then collected me at a prearranged time. As a female traveler on my first solo trip I decided to have someone show me around ( I don't typically like having guides) but, I wanted a female guide. And, Kaoutar was recommended. She was amazing! She is really knowledgeable and fun. She respected what I wished and didn't wish to do/see. I did not feel rushed or feel obligated to buy anything. She was one of the best guides I have ever been shown around by. I would recommend her hands down any time.

My sister and I were in Morocco last week (for only a few days, since we had to leave early due to Covid-19), so we only got to spend two fulls days of touring, and one of those was our full-day tour of Fes with Kaoutar. It was amazing. We couldn't believe all the things we got to see and do in one day: the tanneries, seeing argan oil and other spices being made and processed, a pottery shop to see tagines made and other pottery hand painted, the royal palace, mosques, the university, we had an outstanding lunch, we saw carpets and fabrics being made, etc. We're so glad we packed so much into our first (and turns out, only) day in Fes. Kaoutar was so fun to be with. She was knowledgeable, entertaining, and her English was excellent. We couldn't have asked for a better guide to enjoy our day in Fes. We highly recommend her to anyone who wants to see the city!

I had a fantastic all day tour with Fouzia, a colleague of Kaoutar in the group of Fez Female Guides. She was very knowledgeable, great fun to be with, and she spoke excellent English. I am in my sixties and traveling solo on this visit, so I especially appreciated that she and her driver met me at my hotel. The car was very nice, the driver was safe and always there when we needed him. Fouzia took me to the Fortress overlook, the Jewish quarter and the ceramic cooperative ( must see) before heading into the Medina. She did not hesitate at every turn through the maze, and she had many special stops to view crafts (no pressure to buy except in my own mind!) She taught me a lot about the oldest university, the decorative arts, and the history of the Medina/ and Fes in its role as crossroad between Europe and Africa. I can recommend Fouzia strongly, she has a great smile and is a fount of knowledge.

The Medina in Fez is quite large and complex, we were so happy that we hired a guide, and we hired Kaoutar. I loved that my teen kids were able to see such a strong, confident and funny women lead us through what seems like a pretty male dominated world among the vendors, shop owners and other guides. She spent just the right amount of time at each location, we learned a lot from her and she explained everything with just enough detail for us to understand and take all those tidbits of information home with us. We did visit areas outside of the medina as well, and that part of the tour went very smoothly as well. I can't not mention also all the ways that Kaoutar was so extremely helpful. She helped us find several hired drivers to take us various places around northern Morocco, her level of communication is A+, I never had a doubt that the plan would fall through. She is really on top of all the details.

A group of four of us spent a day with Kaoutar (Koka) and enjoyed it thoroughly. She is knowledgeable, speaks good English, knows almost everyone in the medina, and is organized, and both fun and funny. We left the itinerary in her hands and when we needed more time in a place, she was very accommodating. We appreciated her flexibility and good humor. I don't usually work with a guide but I'm so glad I did. The only caveat is that she will take you to some places that produce gorgeous handicrafts, so be prepared. If you don't want to spend time shopping, you don't have to, but it is hard to resist!

I visited Morocco for my birthday with my husband, We were in Fez for a couple of days and had a day tour with our guide Kaoutar. She was extremely informative and very friendly and funny! She gave us an insight story of the city and gave us an unforgettable experience of the beautiful city of Fes. She made the tour really interesting and interactive. We were really entertained by her wittiness and excellent story telling skill. Even though our tour was on Friday, where most of the place of business were closed but she managed to show us the best of Fes. We were able to visit most of the highlights of the city and she made our tour a very enjoyable one. We truly enjoyed our tour with Kaoutar and we highly recommend her service! My husband and I spent the day touring Fez with Kaoutar and could not recommend her more enthusiastically. We'd toured Marrakesh a few days earlier with a strong guide, but the experience with Kaoutar was head and shoulders above any city tour we've had. She is prompt, deeply knowledgable, personal, hilarious, and just a joy to be around. She was clear that this day was 'our day' and when we mentioned we loved to eat, she took us to a handful of stands where she procured tastes of local food for us to try - for free! Her humor was just what we appreciate - witty jokes and delightful comments at every stage. However, the thing that struck me the most, was that everyone seemed to know and love her. We'd pass people in the souks and they'd give her a hello or a handshake. Dozens of people smiled and greeted her by name as we passed. She grew up in the medina and it shows that she's cultivated lasting - and loving - relationships in the process. I strongly recommend you spend a day with Kaoutar during your time in Fez.

Very highly recommended. We travel a lot around the world and while usually we manage a lot alone, we love to meet great guides for special places to get familiar with the places, history, etc. In Fes, be advised, you really should have a local guide! (To get the best experience and to not get lost.) Our tour operator booked us with Fes guide Kaoutar for a day tour of Fes. We were picked up from our guesthouse in the Medina. It was amazing! Very well organized, highly professional, very knowledgeable, funny, lovely guide! It feels more like being guided by a friend, who shows you Fes from the most memorable side, the best places, and takes care of you! Flexible and adapts to wishes of visitors, shows you the best places and great places to eat also. We visited the pottery, mosaic manufacture, the palace, jewish quarter, the overview where you can see the entire city, the new town, medina, tannery, university and theology schools, weaving, and the smallest alleys in the medina. Unbelievable navigation through the labyrinth of Fes, we would have gotten lost - really you need a professional guide as Kaoutar. We will remember Fes as highlight of our trip and that also mainly thanks to our guide! Thank you!

Kaoutar met our family group and immediately we were impressed by both her professionaism, extensively knowledge and humour. She was considerate of our varying needs and interests (with our ages ranging from 27 to 90 years-old) guiding us through the labyrinth of Fez's old medina and still with time for us to savour some of the local culinary delights. If we had stayed longer, we would have booked Kaoutar to guide us elsewhere also.
