It's great to have a walking tour guide in Fes, which is absolutely essential. Khlafa was super knowledgeable and entertaining throughout. We stopped for a really nice lunch, saw the tannery but the best part was the University and his knowledge of the history of it. Great guy

Khalafa is a great tour guide. He knows a lot and he makes the tour entertaining too. We never felt rushed at all. He is more like a friend who takes you to a walk while he tell you the history of FeZ! Pay little more and get the best

Fes is a crazy town,but it suited us...our guide navigated thrue the streets like an expert...I liked the tea tour the best...

Getting a tour of Fes with Khlafa is like walking around with the mayor. He knows everything and everyone, communicates and educates well, is personable and interesting. Know that while you see the impressive handicrafts (tile making, carpets, weaving, leather tanning, embroidery, etc.), you do have the option (and slight pressure) to buy from the respective shop owners. (We regret none of our purchases, negotiate away!) It was the highlight of our trip to Morocco (and we went also to Rabat, Marrakech, Meknes and Casablanca). Thanks Khlafa!

The city was amazing. The tour guide was very knowledgeable in the cultural history of Morocco, especially Fez. He took to all the nooks and cranies of Fez. The scenes were breathtaking.

We loved this tour. Mr. Khlafa told us so many fascinating things about places in the medina. He is a great guide and able to answer any questions, and also adjust the tour to your specific interests. We learned alot, and were never taken to any shops that we didn't ask to see. Highly recommended !

We had been anticipating our trip to Fes and we’re not disappointed. Our guide was complete and took us to a number or artisan co-ops. We learned so much as we watched things being made. My favorite part was when we said we did not want a full meal but a snack and he took us to this little hole in the wall and we ate charcoal kefta sandwiches and met some lovely women who shared their lunch with us.

This tour was great value for our money. We got to see so many parts of the old medina we would not have seen on our own. Our tour guide always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves and picked us up on time at our riad. He gave us the option of adding a driving tour to the itinerary, which included transport to a few sites outside the old medina, for only 300MAD extra. Overall, we really enjoyed the history lessons were given and the amazing sites we got to see. The restaurant we went to for lunch was beautiful and the food was delicious as well. Highly recommend this tour if you spend a day in Fes.

This tour is a walk through the Fes Medina. It can be difficult to navigate the Medina on your own. During this tour you are taken to particular shops where you are left with store owners or salespeople who are very keen for you to buy them. I did request time to stop for a cold drink during the walk as it was hot but that wasn’t accommodated.

Khlafa gave a great tour of the Medina of Fez adding interesting historical details on our tour. The recent earthquake has not impacted tourism services in Fez. Don’t hesitate to come.

We were so lucky to have booked with Khlafa for many reasons. Mostly because he is an amazing tour guide, who was so knowledgable, well spoken, kind, and fun. We saw authentic and unique things, and had a wonderful time. Then, he went way out of his way to accommodate just my husband and I on a private tour when there was a mixup with timing of what we tried to book. He could have easily cancelled but he shared his time and knowledge with us instead. We were so grateful. Lastly, we got into a situation that we needed local help getting out of, and he stood with us and helped us through it. I was close to having a breakdown and he gave me the help and confidence to get through it. Thank you Khlafa. Absolutely book this tour, you'll be so glad you did.

The tour was amazing, entertaining, diverse and very informative. Khlafa connected the explanation about the history of Fes with a lot of interesting background refering to the general history, culture and islam. It was a really personal tour and during the walk through the Medina (including sights as the Madrasa Bou Inania or Bab Boujeloud) a nice mixture of chatting, getting explanations and question/answers. We also visited a Tannery as well as a Hammam and a carpet seller. We got nice insights there and apart from the modest offer that we could buy something no one of the staff ever pushed us to do so. We finally ended the tour with a delicious Bissara lunch. This tour is absolutely recommended!

Really enjoy my tour with Khlafa. As he grew up in the medina, his knowledge of the area cannot be beaten. He gave us lots of information on the culture of Fes and explained the history behind some of the beautiful buildings which we wouldn't have known otherwise. I would highly recommend a tour with Khlafa.

Khlafa was an amazing tour guide—I can't recommend him enough! He knew so much about the old Medina and took the guess work out of deciding what to do during our short time in the city. We got to see the tannery, an old madrasa, and visited rug makers/herbalists/and loom weavers. We only had one day in Fes but wow was the day packed, thanks to Khlafa. We can't wait to come back!

You have a truly dedicated and delightful guide in this gentleman, Khlafa. Informed, funny, warm and accommodating. He went far beyond what was required in helping us with extra transportation needs, pacing, lunch stops, assistance with delivery of treasures purchased by us to our hotel. Absolutely first rate.

Khlafa is a wonderful guide. He knows his history and brings genuine interest and curiosity to conversations and questions. This is not a rote experience, just the same old tourist circuit, Khlafa is willing to customize his tours to focus on your interests and really takes his time. As a solo travelled I was glad of his company and interesting conversation. I highly recommend his service.

The tour with Khlafa was excellent. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and led us through the maze of the Medina at just the right pace. They say you can navigate the Medina on your own, but it is a bit intimidating, and very easy to get lost, and I think you get a lot more out of it with a knowledgeable guide.
